He had no tools or equipment on him, could not speak English, and we knew that he would not be able to fix anything that night. He was there to 'diagnose' the problem but, since we couldn't communicate with each other effectively, it was a futile attempt at a service call. He rescheduled again for a couple days later and again, was late. I had to leave for work but my partner and the superintendent of the building were here attending as support. My partner called me on the phone (FaceTime) to report that the 'plumber' had broken a pipe deep in the concrete wall (we live in a Brooklyn pre-war building) and had caused more damage than what was necessary. Mind you, all that needed to be done was replace a corroded p-trap and to replace a leaky cold water valve under the sink. Both of which are exposed and accessible. Apparently, he busted into the concrete wall behind the sink (an extremely unnecessary thing to do according to both the superintendent and the real plumbers we had to get later to fix the mess he created). The resulting problem, after all the screaming and expletives exchanged on the phone between the 'plumber' and his boss (Leo), our superintendent asked him to leave as he'd "done all he could do." The 'plumber' left screaming horrible things about his boss and stormed out of our apartment. (Mind you, I saw all this on FaceTime from work. Horrific scene, trust me). We ended up footing the bill for around $4,200 to have everything repaired. So NO. I would not recommend hiring this company for anything. We found out later that this 'plumber' most likely not even licensed! I thought plumbing companies were suppose to have only licensed technicians working for them. Never again!

Tried to establish a relationship recently for work. Using their ServiceWhale website got me an…read moreappointment via text. Nobody showed up. Leo called once to see if he could come off schedule, but I wasn't available. Called back 3 times since calls go to voicemail. Not the way to run a business, and garners very little trust. If you're too busy just say so. Don't leave people hanging.
