I'm very proud of L.S. that they have taken such care of this building throughout the years. It was recently completely refurbished and has never looked better. So many towns in the area used to have classic train stations .... unfortunately most have let those buildings rot and/or torn them down altogether. Thankfully that hasn't happened here. Sadly, the interior of the station is not always open, so unless you are part of the morning commute, you are likely to miss the restored interior. Its a shame to miss it. Inside coffee and snacks await the morning traveler. If you are arriving later in the day however, and can't get inside due to the hour, there is a pizza shop conveniently located across the way, so don't despair. The Little Silver Train Station is a great alternative to the Red Bank Train Station. It truly is in a class all by itself.

If you arrive Friday afternoon, parking lots are generally open and after 5PM and free for the entire weekend. $15 and 1 1/2 hours later you're standing outside of Penn Station. The train is fairly comfortable, but don't expect Amtrak style seats. I would say it's a glorified Metro. If you're new to the process, you can buy a ticket from the station through a kiosk. A conductor will come by and pick up your ticket, and put a sliver of paper on your seat saying that you paid for your ride. If you forget to get a ticket from the kiosk, then you can pay the conductor directly. A good option if you don't want to deal with traffic, tolls, and parking in the city. Any station on the NJ Transit would apply

By 10 minutes.. And only because the harbor was filled with ice. I usually catch the 730 or 800 am boats and it runs like clockwork. I can't believe the other poster complained about 4 minutes. According to NJ Transit their trains aren't considered late unless they are under 5 minutes, and claim an on time percentage of over 90%. I believe that. I also believe in Santa and the Easter Bunny. My only gripe is the cost. NY WW could easily fill another large boat if they lowered their costs just a little. Nevertheless, I'm never going back to the train, and sea streak parking is a mess.

With the new congestion pricing going into effect January 2025 to drive anywhere below 60th street, this is a great option because public transit is where you will save money, thus what is being encouraged by the congestive pricing. I live in Goshen NY. To take the coach bus from as Goshen or Central Valley is $45 round trip, so its just worth it to drive the little extra distance here to save some money on the trip. On the way back you will be dropped off on the northbound side and you just have to cross over 17 using the pedestrian bridge to get back to your car. Also, the parking here is free, in case anyone is wondering. I think in the past you had to pay for parking prior to covid, as I saw some old reviews on yelp that said you had to pay for parking, which is no longer the case. I highly recommend this location.

The deposit was the monthly cost. However, the school started with no communication and of course, no car. There is no customer service phone and when I emailed inquiring why there was no car at I got an angry response: " if operations didn't send the driver information that meant they were not ready. We work with over 8,000 students across the country. Just because they had a delay and miscommunication doesn't mean you have to put our company down" By far the worst experience with any service company. Needless to say: still no car.
