First time they came over was a year ago to replace the old hot water heater with a new on-demand system. We've had zero problems with it. While Dale and his crew were over, they volunteered to tweak some DIY plumbing I'd done (mine was mostly-okay but theirs was definitely better), and they did it for free. We recently had them back over to replace our 30-year-old gas fireplace. It did take a reschedule because they had a couple guys test positive for covid and so they sent their entire crew to get tested, but I appreciated that, and besides our project wasn't an emergency. When they came out, we discussed a few options in terms of scope ("you know we could hide that pipe, but we'd have to drill through the brick"), and ultimately decided to go the simpler/cheaper route. No pressure or anything by the crew. We're eventually gonna have to gut renovate both the kitchen and bathroom (when we can afford it), and we will absolutely be calling them when that time comes.

I then got a call from EZ saying that I had agreed to pay them a fee for the bid if they didn't get the job. 1) EZ never delivered a bid; 2) I would have never agreed to this because no other company was asking for that condition; 3) I never agreed to this condition. EZ told me on the phone that they had a recording of my agreeing to this fee and they would send it to me. But they never have. So no bid; no proof I agreed to a fee; not proof they provided a bid. Now they've sent, what they claim I owe them, to collection. All for $50! This is a nightmare. I'm writing this review and will report EZ to The Better Business Bureau. Stay away from this company. Zero stars.

Limited access to the property and backyard further complicated the scope and ease of executing this project. My wife and I solicited several inquiries from different contractors, and were only made more aware of the complications and challenges ahead based upon the lack of willingness many demonstrated in taking on this project for us. Finding a contractor willing to navigate the challenges of the property while executing within a realistic timeline and within an affordable price seemed impossible. That was until we spoke with Maggio. Artie was confident from day one that he and his team would be able to create an attainable resolution. Artie and his team came up with several approaches we could take on executing the retaining wall replacement, provided us a reasonable price, and then met every benchmark set during our project planning and execution. While on site, Maggio's team was efficient and effective proceeding with care and safety but working at a pace that exceeded our expectations. The completed work is gorgeous and far exceeded our expectations for what our backyard would look like. It's already been such a tremendous relief to have our backyard secured, rebuilt, and drained correctly to avoid erosion damage like we experienced with the previous retaining wall. Through the entire process, we felt like Maggio was working with us to succeed on this project and continually exceeded our expectations. I have no doubt now that not only was Maggio the right team for this project, but the right team for any future landscaping/hardscaping projects that remain for my property in the future. Was notified the second week of December that they won't plow anymore. Evidently the new owner doesn't understand working with machinery or doesn't have the knowledge and experienced help she needs so she walks away from a good paying customer and leaves a 70 something year old couple high and dry with no explanation! I hope she can keep all those port-o-lets clean as I don't see much of a future otherwise.
