I found tons of spas in downtown Toronto using Google, but wanted to find something closer. Saw the sign for this place as I was driving along Kingston and decided to drop in. Oh how lucky I was! I was greeted right away by the owner (William) and I booked 3 appointments. Sis-in-law and wife opted for facials instead of massages. They raved about the service and have been looking for a place exactly like this (superior quality of the procedure and extractions)! In the DC area, we've had no luck... Every spa/salon we've tried only performed minor extractions (not worth the price of the facial). My wife also decided to get a haircut while she was waiting for her facial. She told me that she got one of the best haircuts she's ever received! She said William was awesome and now her hair has more volume and the style is better suited to her hair's natural curliness. My brother-in-law and I were so impressed that we both decided to get haircuts as well. Our stylist, Karelia, was A-W-E-S-O-M-E! Started off with a relaxing scalp massage and then got one of THE BEST haircuts in my 38 years of life! I have a stubborn cowlick that she addressed and she even trimmed my caveman eyebrows LOL. Seriously though, now i'm pissed because I have yet to find a place like this in my area. Great positive energy from the owner and all the employees of this establishment. I didn't win the contest, but I fell in love with the vibrant colours they offered, many of which are not offered at other salons. I emailed for an appt, but later called in on my lunch hour and booked an appt. I wanted to donate my hair, cut, and colour. I was given an appt for cut and colour consultation. (They also did email me back later that day! Extra points for having their communication channels available and monitored.) I just went for my cut today, and it was a fantastic experience. The salon is clean and modern. Angela was fun and professional. She measured, tied, cut, and braided for donation. We talked about colour and as I haven't coloured in about 20 years now, she gave some suggestions. Cut was done quickly and very well done. I was in and out within 1hour. Super excited for the colour appt!

My appointment was at noon and they saw me at 11:55. No waiting. The office is very nicely decorated and very clean. The doctor I saw was very polite and kind and she explained the procedure and possible complications very precisely. We showed the lady in the front and she switched it for a new one which is good for my mom. However, I bought this three step skin care and I realized too late that the pump for the moisturizer was broken. I offered to fill out although not necessary as I only had a couple more sessions...left THEY INSISTED THAT IF I COULD NOT FILL OUT I WOULDN'T RECEIVE TREATMENT. Further as I became annoyed they offered a print out and quiet room to accomplish the request.Later in a text message, I was told it was a consultation appointment. I did not need consultation...I WANTED WHAT I PAID FIRST...AS INEFFECTIVE AS IT IS TURNING OUT TO BE. Since I have been denied service on a paid for service I am requesting my money back...on services not rendered $1277.31 They wasted my time and so I will not be returning nor wish to debate/ mediate the situation further. I sent a letter to their email site customer care....and received a response saying send to patient care which I did attention officer manager. Additionally they advise that services are...non refundable. However if they refuse or can not provide services,,,which I was told then monies have to be returned. In my opinion this was a HARD CORE PLOY to get you to sign up for something else while they have a captive audience.

The first time it happened it was one nail and only a week and a half since the appt. I went to get it fixed and they charged me $7 for a new nail (I call that out because they don't do fixes for free). The second time it was 3 nails so I complained and they did them for free. The third time I had 2 nails pop off within 4 to 5 days after my appointment. I didn't bother going back! I went to a new place today and was told that it's because the person who was doing them is doing them super super THICK that it leads to the whole nail popping off. Makes sense as I've never ever had these issues in the past 5ish years since I turned to gel. Such a shame because it's lovely inside and does have a soft soothing vibe. So mad :(

The shellac has air bubbles on three nails, the colour density is inconsistent and I had to reshape my nails once I got home. It's only been a week and and the shellac is already lifting and chipping. I've had A LOT better for a lot less. I won't be back.
