My second time around I wanted to go back on short notice but the nurse is there every two weeks (only downside) and I was in a rush so I booked elsewhere - big mistake! I went to another medical spa and they totally ruined my under eye, ended up with bubbling and a tyndall effect which they refused to correct. My 3rd cosmetic experience I went back to Goldberg and I am still kicking myself for going elsewhere to begin with. Under normal circumstance no one would do the correction (I had called several places) but the staff at Goldberg are so kind they helped me to fix my issue and then some. I cannot thank Christina and Iryna enough for being so kind. I've learned my lesson and would never go anywhere else. Note to anyone looking to do cosmetic procedures: do your research this is your face, go to somewhere reputable and operated by a medical doctor - TRUST me! Experience: As a new client of Karisma, I was very impressed with the service that Hoda provided to me. I went in for my first session for laser hair removal on Feb. 14th. I initially was only going in to get my underarms, but thanks to Hoda, I ended up doing all three small areas. The procedure only took 30 min. and that is for three areas. Hoda started with the paper work or admin. stuff and walked me through how we would proceed and she also took the time to explain her machines. Her newest machine is impeccable. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER…read more I went to my first appointment booked for 5:30pm. Since it was the first one, I thought that probably I would have to fill in some forms and I decided to arrive earlier at 5:15pm. When I arrived, the office was closed with a post-it on the door mentioning "I will come back at 5:45pm". I thought it was weird if my appointment was at 5:30pm but I decided to wait. The office is at the second floor on a building with no AC at the hallways and I did have a face mask so it was very annoying due to the hot. Then, at 5:40pm another client came and told me she did have an appointment at 5:45pm. So, when I explained to her than I had been waiting for a while she called the owner and she told her we were both there. This customer told me that she preferred calling her because the first time she went there the same thing happened to her and the owner had completely forgotten about her appointment as well. When the owner came back, she didn't even bother to apologize and she just asked the other lady to go inside instead of me who at that point had been waiting for more than 30 minutes! When I asked her about my appointment, she just told me what I was explaining was "impossible" because she did book my appointment for 6pm and that she went out at 5:30pm (seriously?! When she had done the same to the same other client on her first appointment as well? And when I had been there since 5:15pm?). In few words, after all the wait she just implied I was lying about the time of my appointment, as well as all the time I had been waiting there and she didn't even apologize. A week later, my skin became painful, raw, and the top layer was visibly peeling. I sent photos to the clinic and was told this was "normal" and to continue my post care. It wasn't. My skin barrier was broken, and following their advice meant applying an acid product to open wounds. Within two days, I developed severe chemical burns across my back, chest, and neck. My skin is now scarred and significantly worse than before I ever contacted Bellair. It didn't end there. My in‑person assessment with Dr. Pugen was switched to virtual while I was already on my way, making it useless. As I cried through the appointment, he suggested laser treatment even though both my dermatologist and Bellair's own coordinator said it would be high‑risk for my skin type. Two follow‑up calls were scheduled; nobody called me either time and I had to call the clinic to make the appointments happen. The clinic also took very personal "before" photos of my bare chest and back, then later claimed they COULDN'T FIND THEM and they were never uploaded due to "wifi issues." They use iPads with internal storage, so this makes no sense. The violation of patient privacy is truly baffling. The lady who did my face was very kind and considerate. Since I have sensitive skin, she gave me a peel with 20% and she would ask me very often how I'm feeling and whether the peel was . The "peel" doesn't hurt. It's more like a thin cream applied on your face that tingles like if you put lemon juice on your face. It didn't (and shouldn't) burn.
