Found this restaurant near our hotel. We had a group of seven and was able to get seated without a reservation. Our server was very helpful in creating a table to seat all of us, he spoke both French and English. We shared several pizzas and as a group we all agreed they were delicious. We really liked this little place. We had a few extra minutes prior to our walking tour of Quebec City, so decided to stop in for a quick drink. The bartender Julián was so warm and friendly that we promised him we'd return for dinner the next evening. We weren't disappointed. We sat at the bar even though there were plenty of open tables - we wanted to be closer to Julián so we could chat with him during our stay. The guy was awesome! The wife and I split a Cesar salad and a pizza - the food was good. Julián recommended a red wine accompaniment and he was spot-on - it was great. All in all I recommend this place very highly. Too bad we're unlikely to be back in Quebec any time soon or we'd definitely plan another visit to No.900. read more

We've eaten at No 900 twice on our trip: here in QC and in Montreal. For a chain pizza place they do thin crust pizza very well. The salads (Caesar and arugula) are both simple yet delicious, as were our apps; arancini, involtini and mixed antipasti. Kind of cool that they serve cocktails as well as beer and wine. Servers super friendly and helpful with ordering. A no brainer for an easy food option, especially with a picky teen. read more

Really enjoyed our pizzas (5 cheese, Vegetarian, Margherita) on our visit early yesterday evening. The pizzas were thin crust and made to perfection -- compliments to the chef! That said, what really made this place stand out to me was the excellent service. Coralie and the other gentleman server (whose name I didn't get) were absolutely outstanding from the moment we were greeted all the way through to the end of our meal. They both had excellent command of French and English; were warm and helpful in helping us navigate some dietary restrictions; turned on the space heater for us as it got slightly chilly outside on the beautiful terrace; and were just generally all-around fantastic. Whoever was responsible for naming this restaurant instead decided to put all of their energy towards whatever was coming out of the kitchen. I'm on board with that approach. The Old Port neighborhood is charm central, filled with art galleries and future living spaces that I dreamily imagined owning. No. 900 is one of a number of eateries in a row, with more around the corner which gave me pause trying to figure out where to eat. The moment a burrata/fig offering arrived at my table I knew I'd chosen correctly. Get it. The sausage pizza order was supposed to include peppers but after asking them to include them on only 1/2 of the pizza they instead brought them out separately. This matters not at all. The pizza was perfect with or without hot peppers and a beautiful match for the wine I enjoyed here. There's nothing a bit pretentious about No. 900 but with the goodness of the fare they're serving perhaps there should be. read more

I tried to walk in and put my name down for a table, waited in line patiently, and when it was finally my turn, the large man with tattoos at the host stand asked if we had reservations. I said no, and instead of offering any explanation or alternative, he immediately stopped acknowledging us. He then moved on to the group behind us, asked them the same question, and when they said yes, he didn't bother checking or verifying--just seated them right away. Beyond rude. Completely dismissive. Absolutely disgusting way to treat paying customers. read more

Delicious. The Food: Best pizza outside of Napoli I've had in ages, definitely didn't expect to find it here but I'm glad I did. The bread is wonderful. I did have an arugula salad which was average but I still give them 5stars because you definitely should go for the pizza! the wine looked great too, I wish I had some while I was there but maybe in the next trip. The Staff: Super nice and very helpful, prompt service but not pushy. They were able to squeeze me in even without reservation, which was so nice. Fantastic service, really cool place slightly off the beaten path. Make a right out of the restaurant and you'll find one of the cutest (less traveled) streets in Quebec city. Had a fantastic meal of two different kinds of pizza, with a burrata appetizer and a lovely red wine. Highly recommend this place! read more

Good Neapolitan pizza. We were pooped from walking around outside and so was our 9 month old. We decided to order in for lunch and eat in our hotel room. It turned out to be a great idea. We avoided the crowds and the heat. The pizza was still hot and crispy when it arrived. The Caesar salad was also good (although it didn't come with croutons). Went here because it's right opposite the hotel and we could not get into the restaurant next door. The ambiance is nice, classy good for a date. The service could do with some improvement. The one guy working the bar and also tending to tables. There were only 3 couples in the entire place. We had a veggie Neapolitan pizza, some olives, a glass of wine and beer. The service was a bit slow and the guy seemed a tad out of it but he was nice. The down side was that we were charged a dollar extra for the appetizer and the pizza. It was not listed on the menu, we did not bother to ask about it. read more

This little restaurant has it all - Charm, Service and Food. We had some of the best Pizzas - we all had different ones and all were equally great. Topped it off with a chocolate dessert pizza. Our waiter, Sebastian, was the bomb - very engaging and entertaining as well as been efficient and attentive. It doesn't get much better than that! Was one of the highlights of the Beautiful city of Quebec City. Great place to visit! read more

From the outside, this place looks spectacular. The gold leaf lettering on the windows, the lighting, the bar- wow. Was excited to have an amazing experience but the service and food didn't quite live up to the atmosphere. This little pizza place is exactly as advertised. It's a Neapolitan crust with precisely the right amount of char on the raised portions of the rising dough. The sauce is fresh and the cheeses just right. It's a guaranteed great pie. read more

Exceptional pizza!!!!! Number one in all of Quebec City and a highly recommended destination. The coffee at the end was delicious. We were served by Rafaela and she was a doll. The limoncello was delicious at the end. Give that a try. read more
