I thought she was due for another trim, so I made an appointment for an estimate. Erik came, looked her over, and told me, "honestly your tree doesn't need a trim right now. In December, 2022, we hired No Bull Trees to repair damage done by another landscaper to our two large Palo Verde trees. Erik did a minor trim and laid out a plan to nurse the trees back to health. The plan involved trimming, reducing the crowns by 1/3 and reducing the weight of the trees. An appointment for that process was set for 9-29-23 On 9-29-23 Erik did trim the trees, but I didn't see any reduction in the height of the trees. I paid him in full and tipped his workers, saying nothing about the height because I assumed he would be back to finish the crown job. He didn't come back. He eventually responded that I need to call him as needed. Frankly, I was confused as I had no idea when to call him. The next time I saw No Bull Trees was on 7-26-24 when they responded to clean up a storm damaged Palo Verde in my back yard. Erik gave his crew instructions and left the premises. I wasn't happy with the unsafe way his worker cut a main branch and I called him on it. The worker said he was following orders from Erik and the tree would be fine. I sent Erik pictures showing the severity of the cut on the branch and asked him to return to our home to assess things, but he didn't respond. Two days later, in a domino effect, that branch collapsed onto other large branches and another major portion of the tree went to the ground. Erik apologized for the error, cleaned up the debris and rightly didn't charge me for the labor. Giving Erik the benefit of a doubt I made an appointment for 9-25-24 to do the weight reduction, trimming and a drastic 50% size reduction. Before anything was done I asked Erik to tell me exactly what was going to be done. I was happy with his answer. He promised that this time he would do all of the cutting himself. I agreed to a price increase from the original quote. Then Erik left our yard to pick up his son from school and his worker, standing on the ground, immediately began removing branches with a gas powered pole saw. This was not the agreement. Within a very short time I saw that all of that worker's cuts were peeling the donator branches and debris was being dropped on our neighbor's landscape. He also removed another large branch that I believed would remain. I stopped him and he phoned Erik. So did I. When Erik showed up he said nothing to me, cleaned up the yard, packed up his tools and informed me that is crew didn't want to work for me anymore. A very negative discussion ensued and Erik decided to talk to his employees about continuing. On second thought I realized I no longer had confidence in No Bull Trees to complete the job and sent them away. I wasn't charged for anything. I wouldn't have paid them anyhow. I am angry with myself for the trust I misplaced in this company. Now, I'm trying to decide if the tree is worth keeping. The pictures tell the story. read more

I had a green arrow on right. They had a green arrow to turn left. Instead they made a u turn almost hitting me and my child. Then tried to intimate me at the next light and I rolled my window down and kindly told them they can't make a u turn there when I have a green light and that if they would have hit me it would've been their fault.. him and his crew refused to believe that's how driving laws work.. I would refresh your crew on the laws of the roadway so they don't put peoples lives in danger driving such large machinery. And how to just say sorry instead of being condescending. read more

Worst - wrecked my pool when trimming palms. Had inexperienced workers trim trees that left cut branches in my trees where we recognized it as the week progressed. Ended up having over 2 wheel barrel full of tree trimmings left in trees we have to remove and dispose of with the owner Eric not responding to texts about it. We have a very large Mesquite tree in our front yard. Over the last 10 yrs we have had several different tree companies hired to trim it back into shape. Love that tree. Others have butchered it. It's like they kicked your dog! Really felt sorry for the tree. There are a few who are not allowed on our property! I would never recommend this business to anyone. Our sprinkler system in our front yard wasn't working, we had 2 different companies check out our system. The 1st contractor said it was the valve that was causing the problem and offered to fix the issue for $70, parts included. His work schedule didn't work for ours so we went with a different contractor. After they dug around the sprinklers they concluded that it was a leak under the yard so they referred us to No Bull Trees who they said did a similar job for one our neighbors for $200. My wife messaged Eric Bull and let him know in our original message that we had multiple contractors assess the problem and we were told that we have a leak. Eric sent one of his employees over (Josh) to fix our system. Josh checked out our system again and told us that it was the valve and that he would replace the valve for $200. While he was doing the work he informed us that he replaced another valve that we didn't ask to replace, but being that he said he would do it for free we didn't stop him. After Josh replaced the valves he informed us that our sprinklers weren't working still, and that he suspects there's a leak under ground, which we originally told him before they did any of the work. We informed No Bull Trees that we weren't willing to pay for a job that wasn't completed especially when we told them originally what the problem was. Eric Bull told his employee Josh to saw our pipes off and took both of our valves including the valve we did not ask them to replace. They left our sprinkler system in worst condition then what they found it, leaving our water running and they stole our original valve that they weren't asked to replace. My wife informed the Facebook page were she was referred to Eric about their horrible business practices, with a video of No Bull Trees destroying our property. Eric and his wife both took the page to rudely attack everyone who tried to tell them how unprofessional their behavior was, which was 98% of the comments. We showed them screenshots showing of how we told them the issue before they started their work, but they ignored the evidence and continued to double down on their lies. Thankfully other contractors saw on the post how bad we were being treated and offered to fix our original problem and our new problem that was caused by Eric Bull and No Bull Trees for less than what we were charged by No Bull Trees. An absolutely horrible experience that I hope no one has to go through. read more

I loved working with them. They were trying a huge tree in my neighbor's yard so I asked them over the fence if they could trim one of mine. Erik was very knowledgeable and charged me way less then I was expecting. I've had them back out several times to trim bushes and I've always been pleased. UPDATE: When I was able to calm down that they used a literal hacksaw instead of a PVC cutter to cut the lines, I realized that they replaced the valve and cut the wrong lines completely. We have 5 zones for our sprinkler system. You can clearly see in the video that the worker is cutting the lines on the outside which are #1 and #5. I clearly sent a text message to the owner the issue was with line #2. The box for the timer clearly states #2 is front yard grass. They didn't even work on the correct lines. They caused all of this damage and to the wrong lines even, but still wanted to be paid $210 for the work. He told me over the phone that he is not licensed because he does not have to be for tree trimming business nor does he need to be to do the type of landscaping and irrigation/sprinkler work that he does. I personally would not recommend this company. I had contacted them for a quote. The owner asked if I wanted him to come out that night or the next morning I said either or. I was then working with my insurance company on the best way to handle the claim and decided to go a different route instead of hiring No Bull for the services. No Bull contacted me with a very disturbing message accusing me of false accusations that was confirmed by the insurance company.
