I met with Jon the Arborist on the scheduled day and we walked through our yard and reviewed all of the trees. I needed advice on our more than 40 year old pine tree that has a dying limb and wanted the other trees trimmed. We have a very mature landscape and it's important to us to take proper care of our trees. After discovering we have Flat Head Bores in the pine tree, we opted for treatment to try to save it. Jon was very honest and told me the treatment may or may not save the tree. After receiving and accepting the itemized quote for treating the pine tree, trimming and fertilizing the other trees, and an option to remove the pine tree. We chose to do treatment for the pine tree and trim and fertilize the other trees. We certainly want to give the pine tree a chance before possibly having to remove it. We were given the option to take an appointment just days after accepting the quote because someone had cancelled. The crew works hard and we never saw any down time with them sitting around on their cell phones or just talking. They have trimmed our trees for the past five years or more and recently removed 5 large ficus trees that were causing problems with our sewer lines. They were careful of other plants we had in our yard and did a great job cleaning up. They will repair or replace anything that they might damage. We had a Palo Brea tree that was located in the corner of our back yard. There were very large branches that had grown over the block wall and could cause major damage if they fell or were unsafely removed. After extensive research, I received a quote, and then made an appointment with All American Arborist to remove the tree and the the stump removed. Short version: The price was fair, the quality of work exceptional, and I'd definitely recommend you use them! Long version: I had a pine tree in my backyard that I wanted gone. I'm looking to start a grass lawn and I've been told that pine needles don't play well with grass. I called and had John come out and give me a quote on a tree removal plus stump grinding. He was even kind enough to provide me with some ideas on what trees I could plant once my lawn was established. As I had no baseline for what a fair price is I called a few more people, and when they all quoted me the same price, I went with All American Arborist based on their reviews and my experience with John. They were able to fit me in to an earlier time slot than expected, which was great. Within an hour of the crew arriving the tree was gone, and the stump ground. Not only did they work efficiently, they also cleaned up after themselves AND they cleaned up the pine needles my tree had shed prior to their arrival. After they left I noticed the mound where the tree stood was still raised, and after raking away some of the fill I noticed a few roots just under the surface. I called John and he sent out the stump grinder again. They didn't have to, but they were still gracious enough to grind the roots down even further, which is going to save me a ton of time and labor when it comes time to plant my grass lawn. I'm blown away by how they're willing to go above and beyond to make sure the customer is happy. A company's reputation isn't just built on the quality of the initial service, but also on the way they handle any issues that occur afterward. To that end, these folks deliver. After the snow, yes snow, in north Scottsdale our trees suffered severely from broken branches from the snow's weight. It was worse than any wind damage. Jon gave us a fair price, complete with photos of the affected trees. He was very responsive.
