Anyway they assessed the situation and broke into my bathroom wall. The problem was a leaky pipe that connects to the tub upstairs. These two gentlemen, made a mess, fixed the problem, and cleaned afterwards with a vacuum cleaner. What more can you ask. I have been calling Nationwide everytime there's a plumbing problem. No repairs were done, no meaningful diagnosis was provided, yet I was billed $280.35 for "one hour of service." Moreover, this is something they could have easily asked me to check prior to coming over. At no point before the visit was I informed of a mandatory one-hour minimum charge. Only after the technician declined to perform the job was I handed paperwork with that language buried above the signature line. This is a classic bait-and-switch, no disclosure up front, refusal to provide the service, and then a hefty bill.

He came in ready to assess the situation with barely 12 hours notice (emergency request from us), calmly took control of the situation by politely asking key questions and getting the info he needed to make sure he could take care of it later in the day (after he returned from his regularly scheduled client for that morning). When he came back, he got to work on the sink, answering any questions I had explaining the infrastructure etc helping me understand what was going on. Super friendly, engaging, and knowledeable. The local water company(SUEZ) threatened to turn off water to my 2 family home unless I got the line fixed asap. I found ClearFlow on HomeAdvisors.com. I emailed them late evening and Mr Rolando replied immediately(via cell and text) He came over the next day to inspect and evaluate. Mr. Rolando (project manager) outlined everything that had to be done and what He was going to do: obtaining city certificates, hired policeman, step up street signs to close street. sub-contracted sidewalk concrete guys, street paving guys, excavation guys, plumbing guys. We agreed on a date and I did not have to do anything else but be home. All the trucks arrived EXACTLY at 8AM. They started work non-stop except for lunch and finished everything the same day and cleaned up all debris in front of my house by 4PM The SUEZ water company showed up to turn my water off a few days later thinking the work had not started, Mr. Rolando and I happened to be in front of my house when he showed up to prove it to him it was already completed. I contacted ClearFlow a few weeks later to replace all the turn-wheel water valves in my house with lever types so I can turn off only what I wanted versus turning off water to the whole house. Again , Mr R kept me informed even though he was on vacation by e-mail and text , I was given a quote, we agreed on a price and they came and replaced (welding and solder work) in about 2 hours in the evening. Clear-Flow tested everything before they left in both jobs. They are expensive but you get what you pay for and the work is professionally done. You don't have to do anything but agree on a price , get out of the way and let them do their job. Worry-Free.
