Came Here for an employer drug test. A bit out of the way, but they were quick and professional.

Went for pre-employment testing. Guy at reception was very nice. Very easy check in. The office is super tiny and no AC. Took about 15 mins.

The phlebotomist who drew my blood yesterday was amazing!! She was so kind, professional, and…read moreskilled that I barely felt the needle. She made the experience much easier and I want to give her the biggest shoutout.. I wish I got her name..... but she was the only one working on 6/22! Based on previous visits, I expected to be in and out quickly and parked in a 30-minute spot. However, I waited over 30+ minutes to be seen, which was stressful since I didn't want to leave to add time to the meter and risk missing my turn. I was also fasting for a lab draw so I was a little hangry. And, it took about a month to get this appointment, which is much longer than I've experienced in the past. What is going on? I'm luckily healthy, but it makes me worry for those who need lab routine draws. The phlebotomist was the only staff member working, which likely contributed to the delay. She provided excellent care, but the clinic could clearly benefit from additional staffing and improved scheduling.

Quite the inept and unprofessional company, at least in their administration. It didn't start well…read morewith their online appointment; had to book way in advance, and then when spots & times were availalble and chosen, next screen said sorry, not available. except they were. tried to book a dozen appts, all said not available until I checked my email and got notices for 10 confirmed appointments meaning I had to go back & cancel the extra ones. lame software. next, date was finally here and fasted the night before, got down to Valencia with a "Temporary Closure Notice" for renovation week of 5-24 through 6-2 on the window in the week of my confirmed appointment. did they email to alert me? NO. just a wasted trip. Reading the other poor reviews, renovation seem to be their thing. Sign recommended next closest location: Post St, NOT the closest, then below that 15th st. Went there as a walk-in. No one to greet you except an iPad. Employee hiding in her vestibule unseen, waiting to engage with the computer. If I didn't walk back, who knows how long I'd be ignored. Such a poor experience all around.

It does make me a little sad that the staff there now have to work so much harder, handling billing and check-in requests on top of their primary role as phlebotomists. That extra load seems outside the scope of their professional focus. Fortunately, even with these added responsibilities, the staff remain incredible. They are skilled, gentle--it never hurts me--and they are consistently warm, encouraging, polite, and clear in their explanations. I especially want to give a shout-out to Genesis, who was genuinely warm and curious about my weekend. She lit up when I told her how much I enjoyed seeing the play Nine to Five this past weekend, and that made the whole experience feel even more personal and human. The office itself is beautiful and clean, and Genesis even took her own time to put up some cheerful Hello Kitty printouts that brightened the walls. One suggestion that might make the space even more soothing would be to add some local artwork. Perhaps nearby artists might be willing to loan or donate pieces--something calming that would also showcase community talent. I think this would enhance an already excellent patient experience. I often tell my friends that if they need to get blood drawn and have the time, this is the office to visit. The only other teeny-tiny improvement I'd love to see would be the use of bandage wraps like they have at UCSF--ones that don't pull hair when they come off, which would be a relief for those of us with, shall we say, more arm hair
