I love Rush bowls because they have so many toppings and different types of bowls to choose from. At one point they had a bowl that had chai as one of the base flavors. They offer a good variety of açaí bowls and smoothies, all priced reasonably--especially considering that açaí bowls aren't cheap to begin with. I ordered the Beach Bowl, one of their more popular options, and it definitely hit the spot. Fresh, flavorful, and satisfying our açaí bowl craving. Long story short, some flub the temperature, others are too tart, however, this acai bowl is perfection. The place was quiet and empty at 4PM but people started showing up to order around 5PM. The restaurant is clean and there's no tables left dirty for long periods of time if a guest was sitting there. I understand that employees have to close the business and get off on time, but the way it was communicated to us felt very rude and unprofessional. We were also told that we could not drop any food on the floor because she had already mopped and that we should not throw away our trash because she had already taken the trash out. I understand wanting to keep the place clean, but there was no trash can outside that I could see, so I actually had to ask where I was supposed to put our trash. At the very least, she could have simply offered to take the trash for us. The owner was notified about the situation through a Yelp review posted by my wife, but I felt like she was quick to side with her employee rather than taking the customer's concerns into consideration. I completely understand that employees have schedules and responsibilities, but there are professional and respectful ways to communicate with customers, especially when they have already placed an order. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled left a bad impression and is not the kind of customer service I would expect.

The cookie croissant is my favorite croissant even though I wouldn't consider it a true croissant based on texture alone (more of a soft buttery bread with cookie dough!). The cookies are big and thick but definitely on the softer side without much chew. I do love their cake jars-- the moist layers matched with a whipped frosting make an extra delicious treat! The overnight oats and chia puddings are extra tasty as well (more of a dessert :P) It's definitely busy-- besides for the dining experience, people come here to study, work, and hangout. It is actually filthy underneath the initial beautiful surface. It came to the point that I feel icky being there. I hope the owners (and responsible management) take action prior to seeing declining sales and profit. To the owners: I worked in restaurant management years ago, please message me and I will help you recover and maintain your business. This will have you lose your loyal customers.
