Dr. Ngo (Tommy) has made a huge difference in my husband's neuropathy issues that include lack of balance and difficulty walking. On the first visit he took extra time to review and measure range of motion and suggest a customized exercise plan. I've been dealing with lower back pain for the longest time, a problem exacerbated from the work from home situation. Apparently, sitting in a chair for 10 hours a day is not good for your posture and lumbar spine. Luckily I was introduced to Dr. Ngo and he has helped me immensely! My first impression is that he is not your ordinary PT. I've met with multiple other PT's, chiropractors, and doctors to help with my lower back pain and they've all suggested a generic exercise or hit me with a "come see me again if it's still in pain" without addressing the root of my problems. The difference with Dr. Ngo is that he initially will open with a diagnosis to understand my day to day and what would be causing my pain. Then he will move on to explain how each part of my body will help support my lumbar spine. Dr. Ngo suggested very personalized exercises, not just in my lower back, but also the surrounding muscles to support it. I found No Limit Physical Therapy through Google search, and the reviews really helped with my decision to go with them. The reviews are true. I got in contact with them, and they replied in a very timely manner. For months I had struggled with a strained shoulder from BJJ, and over time it resulted in aches in my neck and back. After several failed doctor's visits, I decided to get PT myself.Tommy was able to come visit me the same day I had called in. Tommy was very professional and treated me like an actual person in our 1:1 session and listened to all my issues, questions and concerns, and thoroughly assessed the injury. We went through several tests and exercises. Tommy is very knowledgeable, friendly and extremely easy to get along with. He was able to suggest some exercises and stretches to help regain control over it. I believe his sports background has given great expertise in helping me. After several weeks I have noticed my shoulder has been much better, and my neck and back pains are completely gone. I think I still have work to do, but I think Tommy has set me on the right track. He does not try to oversell or be vague with his diagnosis and gave me the tools I needed to work on myself just from the first visit. I was referred to No Limit Physical Therapy by my daughter and I'm really happy I came to No Limit. Tommy was very knowledgeable and answered every single question I had. I had a knee replacement surgery a few months ago and I needed a PT that could help me right away because my knee was not getting better and my insurance was taking so long to kick in. I found No Limit PT and started working with Tommy and he really made it an enjoyable experience and never gave up on me even though I thought my knee was never going to be the same. I couldn't bend it fully and it was stuck for so long but Tommy continued to work on it and was able to get it to a really great point where I wasn't experiencing pain and I had less compensations in my walking. He walks you through the plan of care and really explains why we are doing certain exercises and movements to address the specific impairments that we have. I do not like to attend physical therapy sessions, but I would use Dr. Ngo any day! He is an excellent physical therapist that truly cares about your wellness. I've visited a couple of physical therapists due to my elbow pain from heavy lifting, but none of the treatments worked and previous PT's didn't really care enough to treat me as they were busy seeing the next patient. One day, my coworker found about my problem and recommended me to visit Dr. Ngo at No Limit PT. I wasn't planning to visit another PT, but my coworker really convinced me to give one last shot lol. At first, I wasn't really expecting much due to having little to no improvement from other physical therapists I've visited, but Dr. Ngo was very patient with me in terms of examining my problems and explaining the reasons for certain treatment plans he came up with. He really goes above and beyond to work with you to come up with treatment plans and adjusts the treatments along the way according to your needs and body condition. I recommend Dr. Tommy 10000000%!!! In the middle of January I was at the gym deadlifting and herniated my L3-L4. I was in constant pain 24/7 but I had to get back to college in San Diego. Standing, sitting down, bending down, everything hurt. My mother found Dr. Tommy and scheduled an appointment for me. She was so worried and had so many questions and Dr. Tommy answered them all. He came to my dorm and we did the physical therapy in the living room. He is very accommodating, professional, nice, and always had a big smile that made me comfortable. He taught me many exercises and took videos which helped me remember them. By the end of the first week of February, I was 95% free of pain. I am now able to do my 7 hour clinicals, sit through 3 hour lectures, and have 0 pain. I am very thankful.
