Kyle surprised me when he said he loves people like me as I would be the type to really appreciate the work they do. After hearing that, I said come on by and give me an estimate. Fast-forward, Kyle came by and as we chatted, I could tell he had the expertise and experience and a solid understanding of different painting techniques. Either that or he was just a good salesperson which he was but only because he knew what he was talking about. I appreciated that he wasn't locked into one particular brand of paint like some painters are. After running by our paint colors and cut off points, one of his guys who Kyle said to talk to as he has an eye for those kinds of things, gave us really good suggestions and even explained why he would do it the way he is suggesting and it made sense and looked really good. They cleaned all the surface areas and caulked all the places that needed it. Really detailed work in prepping and of course painting. They cleaned up their things everyday and stacked everything nice and neat. Picked up after themselves which showed the pride they have not only themselves but also for the company. After everything was done, we did a walk through and had some places that needed to be touched up and it was done that day. If you accept weekend work, expect to only get about 5 hours on a Saturday. He won't tell you upfront that he DOES NOT work Sundays. NO PREP or very little was done and the things he doesn't consider prep are actually standard. He didn't even get the paint on the ceiling to meet up with the walls leaving thing unfinished. They caulked and repaired all the cracks around the windows where the trim had separated due to shrinkage/age. Power washed the whole house first to get all the grime and mildew off the house and out from under the eves.
