DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE -- Dishonest, Overpriced, and Stolen Items My husband went to this shop on a Friday evening because the guy promised me a better price than other places. That turned out to be a complete lie. I asked them to install my lift kit -- including front and rear shocks, leaf springs, U-bolts, and upper control arms -- and also to replace my tires and rims. The guy told me to leave my keys and come back the next day when it would be ready. When I returned the next day: * They didn't do the alignment like promised. * Many of my personal belongings were stolen from the truck -- including two knives, headphones, cash, coins, shoes, sunglasses, and my fragrance. * They also kept or threw away my old parts. I asked for my original U-bolts, one front s, and missing bolts -- he said he "threw them away." Originally, he told me everything would cost $1,500, but I ended up getting charged $3,067. When they did balance of wheels they just put one weight sticker and that's all. I have seen many times how it should be just horrible. When I questioned the price, they started showing me fake expensive websites to justify the overcharge, even though I found the same parts way cheaper on Amazon and other places. I know they lied about their suppliers. They have multiple locations, and staff at one of them were extremely rude. When I called about the stolen items, the guy responded, "I don't even drive a f***ing Tacoma, I don't know how to open your truck," and refused to help. I asked for security footage, and he said he'd check the next day -- then completely disappeared. My steering wheel pulls to the ride now. I even offered to return the overpriced wheels if he refunded me, and he ignored my messages. read more

Absolute TRASH, took my tire in to get patched, cost 20 bucks not a problem. Ended up not even patching the tire they just put a plug as a shortcut. My tire ended up deflating so I decided to come back and ask for assistance on hopefully resealing or whatever could be done. Turns out their "manager" was on some high horse saying "That's not our problem you should've called" "You need a new tire" "You're tripping off 20 bucks". I came back to continue to provide business and give them the benefit of the doubt. Trust if you're looking for quality work this is the LAST place you gotta look at on El Cajon. read more

If you want stretched tires even when you didn't ask for them, go ahead and come here. Mine are slightly stretched, and I've been to multiple Discount Tires, and they said they can't work with me because it's a liability. I love Discount Tires; their prices on new tires cannot be beat, and if you buy tires from them, you get free balancing/rotation every 5,000 miles with a Road Force balancer ($20,000 machine), free patches, and if you get a nail in a place that can't be patched, they will give you prorated prices toward a new tire depending on how much tread is left at no additional price, and free air service, but I can kiss that all goodbye because I decided to buy aftermarket rims from Noah's Tires. They did not even check in the computer whether they specifically fit my car or not; they just decided to throw on stretched tires without even asking me if I was okay with that to make the sale. As they were installing them, the workers there put on boxing gloves and started throwing hands around car jacks that one of them almost tripped over. (I AM NOT KIDDING) When I returned to see what they can do about this, the manager or owner had a horrible attitude and said Discount Tires doesn't know what they are talking about. He said that's why we just opened another shop because we are so good at what they do. To top it off, they had the correct-size rim that I bought that wouldn't require the tires to be stretched. I asked if they could at least give me a discount towards the correct ones, and they said if I recycled my brand-new rims, they would give me the correct-sized ones for $700, but I had to pay cash. The rims are only $1,000 online from the manufacturer's website, so I will not give them a single penny more of mine. PS they claimed that the tires were not stretched, but if you look in the photo that I posted to this review, you will see that the rim is poking out farther than the tire. Any professional will be able to tell you that these tires are stretched. read more
