I've been having a lot of issues with a new doctor I started seeing. Mostly with rx's she's been sending in with a notice to pharmacist to not substitute it with any other brand. The brands she prescribes are expensive & not covered by my insurance. The pharmacy staff called me, informed me of the brands that were the same, but covered under my insurance. But, I would have to get the doctor to send in a new Rx omitting the "may not substitute." I'm having a hard time getting a response from my doctor, so the pharmacy sent me a message asking if I would like them to reach out to the doctor themselves to see if things could get expedited. I always get texts as soon as Rx has been sent, is being filled, & when ready. As well as the estimated cost. When using the mobile app, you get to move to mobile pick-up line, use a card on file, they scan the med and you're out. I also had to recently change my insurance info, & that was easy as well. For the most part the staff is friendly, except for a young guy with strawberry hair pulled back. (Can't remember his name.) he is hilarious & always puts a smile on my face. I have also used the mobile "help" section, where you type in your non-urgent question & they get back to you. I've always gotten a call within an hour or so. The pharmacists are also quick to go to the consult section if a med needs to be discussed. Ok. My 2 cents are put in.

This isn't great in Salinas, where many people speak Spanish. It really slows the line because then they need to wait for a Spanish speaker to attend to the customer. Store: I recognize that this location may be susceptible to theft. I've seen many unhoused, mentally ill and sex workers in this area even though the police station is nearby. Maybe because of this--IDK--- everything is locked up. I went to buy toothpaste-- TOOTHPASTE! yesterday and had to press a button to call for someone to open the cabinet. Then they took the toothpaste up front until I came to check out. The toothpaste was kinda $ but the whole thing made me sad thinking that anyone has the need to maybe steal toothpaste

However, I want to talk about the front store because, for the first time in a couple of years, I actually felt like taking the time to leave a review. I had a bad experience here several years ago and didn't really want to come back. But I went in last week, and something had changed. There was a new employee.... a very kind, Tall....beautiful, patient, and respectful young woman who treated me with genuine kindness. I also noticed the way she interacted with other customers, especially the elderly. She was incredibly patient and respectful with them, which really stood out to me. She was smiling the entire time and made the store feel much more welcoming. What really caught my attention was that she asked me how I was doing and whether I had found everything I needed. Those little things made a big difference because it showed that she genuinely cared about the customer experience. That's why I wanted to take the time to leave this review. I really hope they continue hiring more people like her. I just wanted to recognize her kindness, patience, professionalism, and positive attitude. Employees like her can really change the way a customer feels about a store.... And for that reason I will coming back again

I've never received service like this from a pharmacy, it was unbelievable. We are so grateful as the rinse almost instantly made our daughter's mouth feel better. What else I also receive a phone call checking up on my pet and asking me for any recommendations how they can do better. I saw another review complaining about 9% surcharge. It is not a surcharge it is a 9.25% Sales that that State of CA charges on medications for pets which businesses are required to collect. So if anything complain to the State of CA not the pharmacy.

Always has been. The pharmacy is extremely friendly and helpful. The store feels a bit "dirty", but that's likely because of the local population, because so does our local target compared to other targets. There's not much staff on the floor not as much as I'd like, but the ones that are there always try to help you and do.
