Came here upon store opening on a Saturday and there was already a queue (it can get busy so be patient). Didn't wait long; So was browsing the store before I got called 5 minutes later. Matthew assisted me in getting my foot sized, come to find out I've been wearing the wrong size all my of my adulthood lol! And I knew my foot was wide and the test determined that was not a lie. Big foot alert. I got a wide foot so I need a wider toe box. He brought out 3 different options, Brooks, OnCloud, & Hokas. I ended up going with the Hokas over the Brooks (only because I like wild colors and only options available we're kind of boring, sucks to have wide feet I can't be included in on the fun color run lol) Hokas had a better colorway option available. Personally OnClouds felt very cheap to me and not natural if that makes sense? But I'm so glad Matthew was able to assist me and show me all the options to narrow things down in my head. The store is nicely laid out and easy to navigate. It's clean and bright and I found the assortment of women's clothes was much nicer than the Boca store. The shoe department was really good too. I ended up picking up a nice pair of sandals. The checkout line was long, but the police kept it moving and it went quickly. All in all it was a nice little shopping experience and I know I will be back.

It's near the Blue Anchor Pub, just before you go over the Intracoastal on your way to the beach. A Blast From the Past is owned by Dee Ziemba and it is made up of two boutiques, a couture boutique in front of the store selling designer handbags, shoes, clothing, and accessories, and a vintage boutique in the back with costume jewelry, hats, and collectibles. There was so much interesting art and beautiful porcelain but my favorite part of the store was the costume jewelry. It reminded me of all the time I spent looking through my grandmas jewelry box. I loved examining all of the gorgeous enamel pins and earrings that used to adorn the classiest of ladies. I also loved a Chanel bag and a really cool pair of Gucci sunglasses. I was looking for something new, however, that could be worn now in the 100-degree weather, so I was browsing through all the clearance items. They had a lot of clearance racks in each section so it took a bit longer than anticipated. I also looked at their shoes as I'm always interested in another pair of flip flops or sandals. They've changed how they display their shoes, however. And this was the one thing I really disliked here. All their shoes are now in individual boxes. For shorter folks, like me, that means that all the shoes on the top shelves are no longer visible. And it meant that each box had to be removed from the shelf to view what was inside each box! Eeek! This was so frustrating and exhausting, that I didn't wind up trying on any of them nor buying any of them. Not quite sure they have done this, but I hope they change it. If I was in the area, I'd still stop back by as I know this type of store rotates stock on a regular basis. And I'm glad I came to check them out so I know for future.
