The shoes are adorable and comfortable. Sadly, after only 2 1/2 hours of wear the dye from the elastic straps completely transferred to the tops of my feet. I have never experienced this in a shoe before. I called Shoe Spa and Michael without a second of hesitation offered a full refund. I expected to send the shoes back so he could take it up with the manufacturer Rieker, and their faulty product. Instead, he said that would not be necessary and he offered some advice on possibly setting the dye. I offered to send him the pictures but again he offered and initiated the refund without a second of hesitation. I appreciate the amazing customer service, the owning of the issue and the solution to the problem. Well, today (8/25/2026) I brought my 84 year old mom (with her walker) into the store to purchase another pair of shoes ..she lives in Lake Worth, so it is a bit of a drive. We decided to go back to this store because we both purchased New Balance sneakers in February...and the gentleman that helped us back then was very nice! Don't recall his name... But today was an entirely different experience- I see that there are other comments and reviews for the woman behind the desk- rude and unsympathetic. Lisa C. nailed it with her comments in her review. We walked in and the first thing she said was, "do you have an appointment" and I said No. I asked if my mom could get a pair of shoes and she said "No - you need an appointment- booked for the day"! Then she said quite abruptly "you should have called"...hahahaha- really... I said I was here in Feb. and we just walked in- I asked her when they changed the policy, and she said about a month ago... Unless you are a customer that visits this store every day, how would one know about this policy change? { I viewed the website before I wrote this review and it doesn't even state anything about the required appointment - except: "Appointments for medical issues are highly recommended". Actually, the main webpage states: " We're not your everyday shoe store! Call us today to see how we can help you"! Now that is a pleasant and welcoming statement- too bad they don't carry over that business model into their store.} Then I asked the woman if I could speak to the man who was helping (the one and only customer in the store), and she said "No, you can't" - Hold on whoa!! What is her attitude? Well at that point I turned to my Mom and her aide and said "we are leaving; they are very disrespectful" ...As I passed by the man, I spoke to him directly anyway...asked if he could quickly see my Mom since she is elderly and doesn't get out much....I intentionally spoke to him because unless you are my GOD, you are not going to tell me who I can or can't communicate with...I found out he is the owner and he said he has no staff and he is very ill - of course, I am so sorry for your situation, but you should fire your rude staff person and close up shop now... perhaps you just don't care how you treat people! Karma works in strange ways. Thank goodness for FLEET FEET - they were very accommodating, and my Mom was in her new pair of $150 sneakers within an hour after we left your shop. If I could convince others reading this review not to come to your store then I have accomplished one small deed. I went to her with a question and she still never came back to me. When it was time to check out, I had to go and find her as she was stocking some shelf. Second, they should either have some thick socks to use for try ons, OR sell them as single pairs. I needed to try the shoes with socks and in order to do so, I had to purchase a package of three pairs for 18.00!

He was able to try on several different pairs and even some of the footwear in the sale/clearance section. Surprisingly he found a new pair of sneakers (sorely needed) and another pair of shoes to replace an older pair. Score! And it didn't even take a long time to do this. I was so happy that he found something that not only fit, but that he liked, that I paid for his shoes as a Christmas present to him! So, he was happy and so was I! The store couldn't repair it because it had pass the required warranty that Louis Vuitton recommends. But a very kind store representative gave us the advice of coming to Sanares for a possible repair. Well the store owner recommended a lady that she works with who has a reputation of working with these high end bags. Well I can highly recommend the work that was done on the bag. It absolutely looks like it was purchased brand new. The store is and old school repair shop in the bag and a retail shop in the front. Just want to share my very positive experience at this store…read more I got back into running about three months ago and was told I need the right running shoes. I did my homework and visited few running stores in the area. After a week of reading reviews after reviews, talking to different "experts" at different stores and getting my feet scanned, I have an idea what I am looking for. But now I have a wealth of information to a point where I started to get confused. I bought a pair of Hoka Clifton 6 few days ago but now I am looking for a second pair to keep in my office for my lunch run so I decided to give this store a shot. I walked in an hour before they closed and was promptly greeted by John. John listened to my needs, analyze my feet by having me do couple of things and right away knew the type of shoes I need. I told him about the Clifton I just bought and he told me it's the right shoes for me. Now I'm sure he works on commission and he can easily try to talk me out of it but not knowing I was looking for a second pair, he told me I made the right choice. After I told him I'm looking for a second pair, he recommended few others which was the same shoes the other running stores recommended and they scanned my feet to come to that conclusion. Unfortunately, John didn't have the wide shoes I needed but that didn't stop John from sharing some running tips and giving advise. Then somehow we started talking about California and Yellowstone National Park and since he had visited those places he spent at least 20 minutes telling me where to go, what to do, etc. Seriously, the guy couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Then my partner was looking for some hiking boots and another associate Mike helped him with his shoes and was also helpful and patience with the many questions my partner had. While waiting on him to try on shoes, a third associate Adam made a small chat about the Clifton I was wearing and proceed to tell me the difference between my Clifton and Hoka Gaviota. Wow, these guys know their stuff and are happy to share their knowledge with you. In the end, we didn't get any shoes due to inventory but on our way out, John even told me to call him should I found a pair online and he can tell me if that's the right one for me or not.
