a flight of beers on a wooden table

Noble cider was average to me. I split two flights of cider and one flight of mead with my group. We felt like the flavors were more subtle. I personally wasn't a fan of the fruity ones. My overall favorite was the spiced merchant. The mead was overall good (liked it more than the cider), but I have had better. The inside is great for sitting. I do wish there was more outdoor seating to enjoy nice weather.

Loved everything about this place! Friendly staff, delicious cider and great snack options! I had the Spicy Tart ( LOVED) and my husband had the Hibiscus Lime. We ordered the Pimento cheese app. It was served with pretzels and it was seriously insanely good! I caught my husband practically licking the jar!

I am always on a quest for a great hard cider and I found some here! We have been living in North Carolina for a few months, but we were not familiar with this brand. This past weekend, we happened to eat at an Italian restaurant in Lake Lure that carried Noble Cider and we greatly enjoyed it. I figured we should try to hit up the brewery while in town. Noble Cider is located in an unassuming warehouse building. We were quickly greeted and placed our order with a friendly lady. The vibe inside is cool, there was seating at the bar, as well as some comfier spots. My absolute favorite hard cider EVER is Vermont's Citizen Cider the Dirty Mayor which is ginger infused. I'm always on a quest for a good runner up with that same combo and I think I finally found it here. I loved the taste of their Golden Arrow cider, if you like ginger you must try this. My husband had the Village Tart which is a cherry cider, I figured I wouldn't like it, but it's quite good. They did sell their cider in 4 packs and growlers as well, but we picked some up at the local grocery store. I will definitely be seeking more of this out in the Raleigh area, it's delicious. If you are looking for more great hard cider in this region, I'd suggest hitting up Bold Rock too.

We had such a great time at Noble! We are so excited to enjoy the ciders that we got to take home as well. This main location is a short drive away from the shops and restaurants downtown so I do not recommend trying to walk there. The flights are the way to go to try as many flavors of cider and mead as possible. We went with 2 cider flights and our favorite ciders included the watermelon mint (my personal fav), the Royal peach, Mango sorbet, and the grapefruit spritzer. We also got a charcuterie board to snack on, which was delicious and half off at the time ($9 instead of $18). Inside there was an area with games and books, and a great view of where the cider is brewed. The staff working was very helpful and friendly when picking out our flights. The only issue we had was conflicting opening times on the website. One area said they didn't open until 3 but everywhere else said 12pm including Yelp and google. We attempted to call to verify a few minutes before 12 to check the hours but no one answered. Thankfully we went at 12 and they were open! Overall it was a great place, that I would definitely return to! I will be on the lookout for more Noble ciders in stores in Georgia!

When visiting Asheville we were already set on visiting one cider place. In looking at other cideries, this one stuck out to me. When mentioning this spot to a few locals, they mentioned that this place is out of the way of the main attractions and drink spots in Asheville. I'm not sure what city they're living in as Asheville's population is only around 90k or so. This place isn't that far away from literally everything else in Asheville. You should visit this place first! I loved this place! The first thing to note... it's like this place was playing the soundtrack of my life on the day we visited. I could've sworn they were watching my Spotify playlists! When it comes to the cideries I've visited, it seems that others play up that they make cider and that makes them the best thing ever. There's always a certain arrogance in the air. This place isn't that. They have rooms set up and divided with different themes off to the side(see pictures). The L-shaped area where you order, hang out, listen to bands, use the restroom, and play games is a setup I loved! It's spacious and comfy while still having that industrial warehouse atmosphere that you should be used to by now in this world. Where they make the juice is also on display. They weren't operating when we were there so I'm not sure if they're ever in operation during normal business hours. You can order flights here. I tried the following drinks: Blue Bard, Seer, Raspberry Rose Hip and Hibiscus, Pineapple Jalapeno, Spice Merchant, and the Cacao Elderberry. They were all delicious. I think the Pineapple Jalapeno, Blue Bard, and Cacao Elderberry were my favorites. The employees were extra nice. It gave me the friendly, down-home hospitable feeling that I just didn't get at any other Asheville establishment. When visiting Asheville, I do feel that this is a must-visit. A lot of people go to Asheville for the hiking while others go for all the beer. This spot easily beats some of those beer spots. I look forward to visiting Asheville again and when I do, this will be on the list of places I stop again!

If this had been the first hard cider place in Asheville that we had visited, it might have rated 5 stars. But they still rate highly with me! Noble Cider has an interesting set up. It doesn't look like much from the outside. It is in a non-descript building that is sort of hidden from the road, down a hill a bit.It looks a bit like a small warehouse. But when you enter, it is big and warm and inviting. The ladies working were so friendly! Ready with recommendations and totally on it, as it comes to customer service! I opted for a tasting of four. They had a lot of options and it was hard to choose just four, so I certainly relied on recommendations and what they said were their most popular flavors. I ended up with the BlueBard, Raspberry Rosehip, Spice Merchant, and the Village Tart. The Spice Merchant felt more like a winter/holiday kind of drink, but it was tasty. I think the BlueBard was my favorite. I wanted to try more of their offerings, but we had other places we wanted to visit and there is only so much alcohol one's body can handle....even in sample sizes! If I lived in the area, it would be a toss up at which hard cider place I would spend more of my time and money. If you prefer sweeter boozy beverages, I would highly recommend you pay Noble Cider a visit!

Great ciders and great service! We got a flight of ciders and enjoyed every one. My favorite was the black cherry peach crumble.

We stumbled upon this gem when we were vacationing in Asheville. The bar we intended to go to was packed and we saw Noble Cider was nearby. The bartender was super sweet and informative. We showed up 30 minutes before they closed and asked her if that was a problem. She was very hospitable and told us we were welcome to come in for drinks until last call in 20 minutes. The place itself is kind of hidden and we wouldn't have found it without Yelp. The setup inside is really cool. They have two ares setup like rooms of houses with games also play. They also have tables. We chose to sit at the bar. My husband and I had cider flights and I really liked them all. My favorites were the passionate escape and CBG. They change out some of the favors periodically. She offered a taste of their mead since I had never tried it before. They also have cans and growlers you can take home. I highly recommend checking this place out!

Changing it up from breweries by throwing a visit to Noble Cider into the mix. Boyfriend and I were able to try a flight each which contained four ciders of your choice: My flight contained the Standard Bearer, Village Tart, Winter Champagne and Royal Peach Boyfriend's flight contained the Golden Arrow, Spice Merchant, Stormy Knight and Mead Did not enjoy the Stormy Knight or Winter Champagne at all, we struggled through our first sips. The Royal Peach was disappointing, I was hoping to taste a bolder peach flavor. Boyfriend enjoyed The Spice Merchant and Golden Arrow, a ginger cider. If I had to choose a personal favorite it would be the Village Tart, a cherry cider. When it comes to a basic and cherry cider Bull City Ciderworks in Durham is serving up some of the best cider that I have had to date. The Standard Bearer and Village Tart just did not compare to Off Main and the Cherry Tart. Staff was friendly and knowledgable. The space is neat, very open with lots of seating options and games. Plus, they have free popcorn with lots of toppings! I recently visited Bottle Revolution in Morrisville and noticed that they do have a few Noble Cider options available so if you are in the area you can try these out without making the drive.

Clementine, Raspberry, Mint Watermelon and Tart Cherry

I got a flight and they were all delicious. Clementine was definitely my favorite though--going straight for that next time I go back. The lady recommended mint watermelon (which I didn't think I would like--and she definitely gave me a weird look when I told her that lol making me feel like I had to try it) but ultimately totally worth trying! Probably wouldn't ever buy it in a six pack, but better than I would have expected, much more subtle. It's a big warehouse and they have differently decorated break off rooms, with some games to play as well. Super large space! Honestly, the only reason I'm giving it 3/5 stars is because I was pretty displeased with a conversation I overheard with a staff member. There was a younger girl, who looked to have known or been a family member of the bartender--regardless, the young girl was asking the bartender if her shorts were too short and the bartender replied something along the lines of: "definitely, your butt is showing", and then went on to comment on the young girls hoop earrings she had in, by telling her: "the bigger the hoop, the bigger the hoe." I get this may have been a joke, but I wish people understood the effects their words can have on a young girl like that. Not to mention, the young girl was Black and the bartender was white--Black girls are constantly viewed as older than they are in today's society and pushed to fit that older persona that so many perceive them as. 1. wear what you want, it's 2019-outfit shaming shouldn't be a thing anymore. "Short-shorts" nor hoop earrings make you a "hoe." I constantly had people telling me stuff like this as a young girl and it did a lot of damage to me and took a lot of therapy and unlearning to feel confident in who I am today because of small "jokes" like that. All in all, great hard cider but hopefully the bartender that said that can take this review with an open mind and realize how powerful words are, not only to the people they're directed to but the people that hear them around you too.

Ellen was great. We're honeymooners in Ashville for the week and this by far was the best customers service we recieved in the entire town. Thank you Ellen for being so nice.

It is one of our "go to" places when we want a refreshing beverage. I love their little mini rooms where you can play darts and other games.
