Deplorable Customer Service…read more I've been a customer at Eyeglass World, Noblesville Indiana, for several years and have been satisfied until today. I had my annual eye exam last week and ordered two sets of glasses - one with progressive lenses and another single vision to use while working at my computer. The OD's prescription was wrong for my intended use as computer glasses; they were too strong. I had to make another appointment to be re-examined; no problems there, in fact the OD was very gracious. The problem came with the General Manager, Joanna. I offered to keep the glasses that were too strong, since they were suitable for me as reading glasses, IF they would offer some discount as compensation for inconvenience for my time wasted coming back in for a re-exam and having the correct lenses put into an old set of frames that I brought into the store. There was not a lot of money involved to cut another pair of single vision lenses, but Joanna would have nothing to do with any discount or compensation, even though I was upset and had to waste my time to go back there again for their mistake. So, for a few dollars, an apathetic Manager and Eyeglass World lost a long time customer and gained a lot of bad publicity.
