I waited for 6 weeks to get my glasses, they never contact me at all, I came 3 times and this last time I ask them to refund me my $758.95 The first time after a month I called the store and they told me that my glasses were lost in the mail, then the glasses were back ordered, now, six weeks later, the glasses are defective and they have to order them again. Deplorable Customer Service I've been a customer at Eyeglass World, Noblesville Indiana, for several years and have been satisfied until today. I had my annual eye exam last week and ordered two sets of glasses - one with progressive lenses and another single vision to use while working at my computer. The OD's prescription was wrong for my intended use as computer glasses; they were too strong. I had to make another appointment to be re-examined; no problems there, in fact the OD was very gracious. The problem came with the General Manager, Joanna. I offered to keep the glasses that were too strong, since they were suitable for me as reading glasses, IF they would offer some discount as compensation for inconvenience for my time wasted coming back in for a re-exam and having the correct lenses put into an old set of frames that I brought into the store. There was not a lot of money involved to cut another pair of single vision lenses, but Joanna would have nothing to do with any discount or compensation, even though I was upset and had to waste my time to go back there again for their mistake. So, for a few dollars, an apathetic Manager and Eyeglass World lost a long time customer and gained a lot of bad publicity. read more

Clover Road location in Noblesville, Indiana. Staff are flippant and bizarre. Acting unprofessionally behind the counters while not attending to customers waiting helplessly in the store. Alisha, whom assumes the managerial role indicative of her nominal business casual, makes the overall experience of this establishment uncomfortable. She is extremely rude and non apologetic to the customer. Especially when her menagerie of ill timed jests and up-sale attempts are not acknowledged. The lack integrity and sincerity at this location needs to be addressed and rectified. read more

Horrible customer service!!! We arrived for our appointment, which I scheduled a week in advance, and was rushed through the pre-testing portion. We were told to come back at 3pm because they were going to lunch. We came back at 245 and waited. We were told we shouldn't have l left because the so called doctor was looking for us. I explained We were told to leave and cone back. The technician states she never told us to leave, which is Incorrect. I had someone with me that heard her say to leave and come back. Theses guys went out of their way to accommodate my vision needs. I had cateract surgery x2 weeks out in one eye and 4 on the other and needed to be able to see again. I know that you should wait for 4 weeks at least but they recommended a lower pair until time had passed with a follow-up appointment to get everything squared away. Had an eye appointment almost a year ago. Had insurance pay for 30 day contacts and I bought my own eye glasses! Almost a year later and still never received my contacts. I called half way through the year and the reply I got was "we are at the mercy of the mail" . Sounds like you're at the mercy of insurance fraud? Hmm. Expect long wait times and doctors who can't fill out prescriptions properly. I went in today to receive my annual eye exam and was unable to complete it due to having some irritation in my left eye. The doctor prescribed me a steroid and told me to come back on Saturday to try again. I waited an hour just to check out and by the time I got to the pharmacy, I was informed the prescription was filled out incorrectly and they were unable to fill it. For a doctor with years of experience, you would think she would know how to fill out a prescription! read more

This past weekend, my prescription Ray Ban sunglasses ended up at the bottom of Morse Reservoir. Given that we leave for Jamaica this coming weekend, I was in an absolute panic to ensure I have sunglasses for our vacation. I frantically called around to different retailers trying to find anyone who could help. When I called Eyeglass World in Noblesville, I was greeted by Andy and explained the whole situation. He was empathetic and absolutely wonderful to work with. Andy explained the process and that they could absolutely help me before we leave. He walked me through what I needed to do to get my current prescription, made sure they had availability to get the sunglasses done, and arranged for me to come in on Monday. When I got there, Andy immediately helped me even though his shift was nearly over when I walked in the door. He was so patient, thorough, and kind. Andy ended up helping me get a new pair of Ray Bans and a new pair of everyday glasses, too. Not only did Andy stay well over an hour past his shift, he did so with an incredible attitude and he simply couldn't have been better to work with. Andy, you are a life saver! I went in about 3 weeks ago and got a quote to put lenses in my own frames. I have no line bifocals with polycarb lenses with transition lenses. Today I go back and talked to a different person and he said they couldn't do it for that price. He said with just the 3 items above it would be more than the price I got quoted. Update : Now I have to compliment this place. After my poor review I received an email with a very nice apology and a generous offer to make things right. I too work in customer service and was so impressed by the effort made to bring us back as a customer. I used this experience to teach my staff how to provide outstanding service. Ronnie stepped up and made it possible for us to feel confident this was a one time mistake and efforts are being made to prevent other customers from being pushed out of their appts. Well done! Original one star review follows: So frustrating! Not sure what changed in the past year. My husband and I tried to walk in for an appt and were told none were available. Lady at reception suggested we go online to schedule-ok so we did and found appts the next week at a time that worked for us. We received email and phone call confirmations for our separate appts on the same day. When my husband shows up for his, 15 minutes early as the email suggested, he was told that because he didn't confirm it they had offer it to another guy who walked in. But my husband did confirm it - I watched him make the confirmation. Subsequently I canceled my appt the same day. No offer was made to apologize or explain why they mishandled our appts. Will not be back and am annoyed that we went the extra mile to try to work with group that didn't give a hoot about our business. I called and made an appointment for my daughter because her prescription was no longer working less than a year. When making the appointment I asked about contacts and was reassured they could help and scheduled the appointment at 445. When we got there I was told they may not have time but they close at 7. They did a great job and helped but she couldn't get them in and they told us as long as the Dr was there until 6 we could come in and practice. I came in the following week and was greeted by the GM with what do you need at 440. When I told her she said we don't do that after 430. When I asked why I wasn't told before and we did last week she said I will write it down so you can't remember. She then deadlocked my eyes for two minutes and I asked why she was staring at me and she said she wanted to take her time and be slow so I could understand. I ask if we could go to another place and she said no we have your paperwork here. I explained that my daughter was having a hard time seeing out of her current glasses and really needed something. She said we don't have them you will need to wait. I asked again if she could check another store. She finally called and said no. I said can we at least look at getting glasses. She told me she had to get her kid and didn't have time. That seems to be the problem every time we come then when we ask why they are open later we get yelled at. I asked if another associate could help and she rolled her eyes and the next person was nice. Just tell people up front what you can do and when they should be there. read more

This location doesn't know customer service. When i called i spoke to kelly. She verified my insurance. My appointment was scheduled. When i showed up. The staff that was there in the morning was rude. They stated that i had no coverage. Ryan checked my insurance and make a comment that Kelly was new and didn't know how to do her job. I was taken back that he threw his coworker under the bus and the ladies that worked with him that morning joined in. I had to call my own insurance and found out they don't take my insurance and i would have to pay out of pocket and file with my insurance. They treated me like a third class citizen. If i didnt have broken glasses i would not have stayed. I got the cheapest glasses to get me by until i can go to a better company that knows customer service. read more

So I went to Eye Glass World it was a gift for my birthday. Went thinking it would be around 178 because it's never what is advertised ended up being almost 800 no I didn't get expensive frames or even transition lens. I got insurance for these crazy expensive glasses asked even to make sure that lost or stolen was part of the plan stating that I wasn't interested if it wasn't. Oh of course I was told. Well NOPE IT IS NOT. This place is a joke,,Lesson learned just go to Wal-Mart vision same glasses I paid almost the 800 would have cost me 160. read more

I called got appointments for myself and my husband . My birthday present ended up being 340. More than expected. That wasn't the worst part first I get wrong glasses then I have waited long enough( never called) for my pair that was wrong. I get my other new glasses and was asked if I would like the pair (new) cleaned (long day thought great idea) I hand my new glasses over to be cleaned. I get them back and kept thinking my hair was in my eye, No both lenses are scratched WTF . I would never and will never again willing go to this location on Clover st !! I ordered new contacts around august of 2020 and I did not receive a trial pain for the contacts because they did not have my prescription in the store. So when I received my box of contacts that I've never tried before they did not satisfy me, the brand was called ultra. So I went back to eyeglass world and mind you I am a student and moved locations so I simply cannot just drive 45 minutes to go to noblesville and I asked if I could just switch locations and they did not recommend me doing that because the other optometrist at the other location would charge me. So I have to go back to noblesville. When I arrived to get my trial pairs for new contacts I was not informed about the rules of getting a new box of contacts all I was told is if I like the trials I would just have to call back and get the new box so that made me very happy because I did not like the other triad and it just seemed easier than I thought. I call back and tell them I like the new trials and I would like to order them and they said to me since the boxes were opened I cannot get a new box for free. Which frustrates me because how was I supposed to know if I liked the contacts or not without opening the box. I did not receive any trial pairs before I got the box ordered. I was also not informed that since my prescription is higher that it would take longer to get the box. And when I brought that up to the woman I spoke to she reiterated what she said 3 different times as if she did not have the correct information in front of her of when I got the box. I'm not sure if it's just miscommunication with the staffing or just a bad day and they were trying to do great customer service by telling me that I would get a new box no charge, but I will take my order else where. Like did I not get the correct information because I am young and wouldn't understand the correct methods of ordering contacts? Because I am still a paying customer at the end of the day and I've never had issues with Eyeglass world before so this really was it it for me. I agree with the other two reviews that this is a very pleasant place to be. I love how all the adult glasses were very clearly marked with price. There was no pressure and we browsed at our leisure. I was afraid there would only be a few glasses in the 2 / $79 special but there were plenty. My daughter picked out two pairs she really liked and then I thought "here comes all the upselling". I was wrong. We were only offered the protection plan (I think it was $25 for the first pair and $15 for the second.) I declined since it was only for a year. (It covered everything but theft so will definitely consider if my sons need glasses, though. Much better coverage than what our eye doctor offered on my daughter's last pair. ) Declining was no big deal and no one made me feel awkward about it. The lab closes at 4:30pm and we got there after that so same day glasses wasn't an option (they can do about 2/3 of their glasses same day). But still worth the half hour drive for such a good deal. I will definitely bring the rest of my family here! read more

If you actually need to RECEIVE your new glasses, you may want to shop elsewhere. Unlike lucky Robin in the Eyeglass World ads, I did not receive 2 pairs of glasses for $79 on the same day. I paid $300 for one pair, since my prescription didn't qualify for the discount or the 1 day service (which I was not told about until they rung up the invoice). I was told it would be about a week before I received my snazzy new glasses. Ten days later, I called to check the status. No glasses, nobody knows why the lab hasn't sent them, but they will check right away and let me know. TWO WEEKS later, I called again in search of the elusive glasses. Still no glasses, still no knowledge of why the delay. Requested a refund. The hunt for new glasses continues... read more

The doctor was great, she took time to compliment my children and their behavior as well. When I asked a question, she thoroughly explained it. I was not rushed at all. The staff was very helpful with trying to pick out glasses and not rushing us, or trying to get us to get the most expensive pair. The doc didn't even assume we would buy from there.
