Our first time visit and it was a nightmare! We brought our dog there for a nail trim and bath and hair cut/trim and we were told it might be an hour or 2. After 2.5 hours I went there to find out what was going on and saw that my dog was in a kennel and a big 20 inch fan that was on full speed was blowing on her, I don't know how long this was going on, they never did anything else to her except for bath! The poor dog was sitting there getting hit with that full force COLD wind blowing on her. After voicing my displeasure, I got my dog and left. This is total bullshit! They still had another dog that they had not even started on and that dog was ahead of mine??? The drive home, my poor dog was repeatedly coughing and occasionally sneezing. I DEFINATELY RECOMMEND YOU FIND A SAFER AND KINDER PLACE TO TAKE YOUR ANIMALS TO! If my dog gets sick, THEY will be paying the medical bill! read more

Nice at first, Dog developed ear infection on 2nd day of leaving groomer and just had a physical 9 days before in perfect health. New to owning this dog breed and vet asked me if they plucked ear hairs or used drying powder - Inwas not sure because they didn't explain to me all the services they did. When I called a young man said, "Ear infections are common after grooming." What? If proper procedures put in place. He then added, "Inhave worked her a year and a half and no one has asked me these questions." So disappointed, because I live in the neighborhood. The way this guy answered my questions, that is the exact kind of employee that cuts corners. I don't think I can take my dog back here. I would give 1 star but the girl was so nice explaining grooming tools I should use on him when I picked him up, so the second star is for her. But, I cannot trust these people now. read more

I started taking my two pet babies there in 2021. So, my pups have been there a hand full of times. I dropped my two pet babies off like I always do without a problem. They walked both dogs back without incident. After leaving, a few hours later I was told that my dogs were to aggressive to stay there. I was kind of confused because we never had this problem. When my husband and I returned. They showed us where our Fur Babies were at and the girls walked in the cage with us and fed the treats. Long story short my babies were not the problem they were. I will never in life recommend this place or return. read more

I don't care to do business with liars, but that's just me. I took my Yorkie in for a hair cut after being told he needed a flu shot, which he did not need. I paid for it, plus my pup had to endure extra meds at an advanced age. The groom took over 5 hours & I was lied to as to why. I was charged more than my receipt ended up stating online and when I complained in an email, all I got back was a bunch of excuses for the employees. It's fine to stand up for your staff, but when it's all lies, that is just ridiculous. No one wants to listen to that nor do business with a manager behaving in such a manner. I did receive a refund, but it is just a shame that a local business has staff that cannot just be truthful with their customers. read more

I made an appointment with Noble Kennels a few days ago for a nail trim and bath and brush. When I went in, we realized that I had made an appointment for the Oakdale location and not the Riverbank one but it was not a problem at all! Amanda, who had helped me today, was so kind to cancel my appointment at Oakdale and take my dog in immediately at Riverbank, which she absolutely did not have to do! During the service, I was able to run errands and they texted you when the service was complete. When I got Harlow, she smelled SO clean, had the shiniest coat and her nails were trimmed perfectly. I've taken my dog to Petco grooming services and they always leave her nails pretty long but Noble Kennels had them at the perfect length. Exactly what she needed since in quarantine her nails were getting long. Also, if you want to make an appointment, create a profile for your furry friends online and then you can call to set up an appointment once you've made your profile. After your first visit, it looks like you can then make your appointments online. read more

I absolutely love taking my chihuahua baby to get her nails cut here. The workers are caring, truth worthy, and friendly I have never experienced any issues with them or with my dog. Even knowing that having a dog with separation anxiety and scared they take care of her gently. My chihuahua baby is always happy at the end of the baby after her get her nails cut. This place is horrible. My dog stayed with the over night this past weekend and almost died from heat exhaustion. I had to take him to the vet because he was so sick. They also didn't feed my pet. We dropped him off with 4 pre measured bags of food that should have been dispersed in the time we were gone.. when we picked him up, they handed us 3 bags back when there should have been one. he had only been fed once in a matter of 2days. We tried to contact noble kennels to get some answers as to how they operate with boarding pets and we were told we'd get a call back, still nothing. They have been very insensitive to this matter and seem to not care about the incident. We trusted them with the safety of our dog and ended up picking him up severely sick. This place is horrible. Don't trust them with your pet. read more

I took my dog to Noble Kennels in Riverbank this morning to get her nails trimmed. I stopped by there last Friday afternoon and the lady at the front desk told me I could just drop in after 8:00 am and they could trimmed as a drop in and the cost and it would take about 5 minutes. I arrived there at 8:42 am, went inside and waited until 9:00 am, there was a lady grooming and a man sweeping the floor and neither one came to see what I needed. The front door has a bell on it so they know when someone comes in. I wasted a half hour of my time for nothing, I will never go back there for anything. Not a good way to run a business. I took my puppy in the other day for a bath and deshedding. when i picked her up she had loose hair and didn't appear to have been deshedded.. i went home and took our deshedding tool to her and took this much off in just 5 minutes work. not entirely sure what i paid them $35 to do but she won't be going back there. the girl also didn't hit the notification button to inform me she was ready for pick up so i ended up having to call after her being there 4 hours to see if she was ready. they gave me no timeframe window or anything at drop off. their banner out front says 20% off first service for new guests which i didn't get either, which is not a big deal, i can afford the full service but that was why i ended up going with them rather than allegros in oakdale. read more

Was taking my dog to them for a while and then suddenly they say they couldn't accept my dog didn't give me any reason just told me to pick him up and when I got there he was all wet and not dried up at all. They took 4 hours to "bath" him but yet when I arrive he's wet and I mentioned it and she didn't even give me a response. This place is great for grooming and boarding! We have an Aussiedoodle and we're always pleased with how he looks after we pick him up. We can always easily get him in for boarding too when needed. Sometimes we have last minute trips and I've never had an issue with getting him in (their online system is great). During one boarding service our dog did have an incident with another dog but I've worked at a dog groomer before - I understand these things can happen and it was the first time out of many visits. The staff handled it perfectly and because of that, we will continue to board and groom our dog here. read more

This is the second time we used the Riverback location.. we left our dog there for five days with instructions on medication that needed to be administered specifically a mouth rinse, the returned bottle showed it was hardly used. additionally we requested she get a wash while there which was not completed; reason short of help. Not being able to provide a wash in 5 days tells me they may be neglecting other services for other clients due to help shortage. read more

Took my dog for a haircut and regular grooming appointment, everything seemed well when I got her then few days later my dog got a horrible ear infection that lead to a visit to the vet. Idk if Noble Kennels didn't dry her ears or something but my poor pup was hurting so bad. Also noticed it was a bit strange that they didn't even ask for her rabies vaccine so that makes me think if they just take any dog without updated immunizations. Recently I used their pet boarding service at the Riverbank location to board my dog for 7 days. My first impression was that it would be a great place for my dog while I had to fly across the country. When I got there to drop him off he was fine just smelling everything and the people that worked there were petting him and he was wagging his tail so everything seemed great. I dropped him off with his food, bag of toys, and his leash. The next day I get a call asking if I could pick him up or have someone come get him. I was all the way in Florida and don't have any family or friends that would have been able to pick him up in California. They said he would growl at one of the people that worked there but was fine with others. It had me wondering what did that person do? He is a very playful and super friendly dog. I take him everywhere with my family and he's around strangers, other dogs, and kids all the time. I have 2 younger daughters and they play with him and lay on him and never has he growled at them. He lets strangers when we go on walks come up and pet him no problem and have never seen him like what they were describing. He has also boarded at the Escalon Small Animal Clinic before and has never had issues like that. They called again and said they were transferring him from Riverbank to the Oakdale location and one of the people that he liked was going to be there so I thought the rest of the time would be better. When I flew back in to California and went over to Oakdale to pick him up, the lady was extremely rude. She also mentioned they were dealing with a dog fight there with injuries and needed to bring in vets. I was told to "you need to go get your dog" because they wouldn't get him out of his kennel. They were handing me a leash, and I asked if they still had his leash I dropped him off with. They said I'm not sure and had to find it. They handed me his leash and his collar then We walked over there. He was totally fine and friendly even with the employee who said wouldn't go near him. It's just strange he liked some people and not others so I'm just curious what they did and question the quality of care they are really doing at the facilities and how dogs are being treated.
