It took many months for my windows to arrive, but I knew this was possible. The first installation appointment I had, no one ever showed up. My installation appointments were rescheduled at least three different times. I was very disappointed with the installation. The caulking is extremely messy, looks like a child did it. I have sent pictures of the worst spots to the company with no response. I was never shown how to open the windows to clean, and despite several requests, have never gotten a copy of the warranty. The two installers did not speak English. I am really sorry I ever purchased these windows and trusted this company. I work very hard for my money and this was a major expense for me. I should have gone with more expensive windows that would have been installed correctly and neatly. I guess you really do get what you pay for.

One side of this poorhouse is attached to the rest of our house and the other three sides are all 10 foot tall commercial glass sliding doors with smaller commercial glass windows above. Almost all of those glass panes had air seal leaks making the glass cloudy and several had cracks. The sliders didn't;t slide very well either... We received several estimates and went with a mid-priced one from City Glass and Mirror. The price was roughly 25% of what a residential glass/window company had estimated. We are delighted at the quality of the resulting space and the glass makes it look like new! Highly recommended!

Ben was our point of contact throughout the entire project. He came out to take the initial measurements, talk through the project, and generate a quote. It was a complete zero-pressure experience. After receiving the quote I made an appointment to visit the showroom (though Ben also offered to bring some window samples to the house). We really liked the windows (Sunrise Restorations) and moved forward with the project. The installation went flawless! I'm a bit of a perfectionist and usually have to stop myself from nitpicking on small little flaws from general contractors, but American Windows did such a stellar job I couldn't find a single flaw in their work. We were impressed by the reviews Seneca Creek had gotten and decided to give them a try when we learned that they had experience installing EcoStar, a slate look-a-like shingle. I was further impressed by project manager Tim Bissell's attention to detail in the planning and his ability to reply to our calls almost immediately. The project also included re-siding four dormers, not to mention the removal of existing 150 year-old slate as well as some 30 year-old-asphalt shingles. The siding team came first and were here four days. They came early and worked constantly all day and stayed late to cleanup - not leaving until dark. Then came the roofing team. They, soo, arrived before starting time and did not leave until it was nearly dark. They were here a week and all that time kept the yard picked up, neat and orderly after the end of each day. I would definitely recommend Seneca Creek if you are interviewing roofing and/or siding companies. In 50 years (EcoStar has a 50 year warranty!) I will call them again myself!
