Came here for brunch to celebrate my aunt's 70th birthday, and it was our first time visiting. The…read morespace itself is really cute--on the smaller side, but cozy. We had a party of 10, and thankfully they were able to accommodate us in the very back of the restaurant, which ended up being a great spot for our group. Service was a bit on the slower side, and we would have appreciated a few more check-ins throughout the meal. Nothing terrible, but noticeable--especially with a larger group. If you're gluten-free, just know the options are somewhat limited. That said, I was able to customize the breakfast burrito into a bowl to skip the tortilla, which worked out well and was still satisfying. The table shared the pancakes with cinnamon butter, which were a big hit. The breakfast burrito was also really popular, and a few people ordered the quiche special, which got great feedback as well. One downside is the bathroom situation--there's only one unisex restroom for the entire restaurant, so there was pretty much a line the whole time. Parking is metered street parking with a 4-hour limit, which is manageable but something to keep in mind if you're planning a longer visit. On the plus side, being seated in the back made it quiet enough for us to actually enjoy conversation, which isn't always the case at brunch spots. While the pricing felt a bit high for the overall value, the food and atmosphere made it a worthwhile experience. It's a bit of a drive for me, so not somewhere I'd visit regularly, but it's located in a really cute town with plenty of shops to explore--nice if you want to make a day out of it. Overall, a charming spot with good food and a cozy vibe. I'd come back, just hoping for a bit more attentive service next time.

One star removed for management, sadly. They understaffed on a super busy brunch and the poor…read moreservers were sweating. The staff here is SO friendly and hardworking. Our server Cassie was an absolute star! She was essentially the server, bartender, host, and runner! We had the espresso martinis and they were to die for! We had to have another round. Very creamy and delicious. I had the brunch omelette and it was great, but I had a bite of my friends biscuits and gravy and will definitely be getting that next time! So good!! Overall the vibe of this place was awesome. Really cute and clean interior. Nice view of the street!

What a lovely cafe! My husband and I came in first thing Saturday morning to grab breakfast and…read morecoffee while visiting Beacon. It's counter service and there was already a bit of a line when we arrived around 7:15am (why were so many people already up and about?! lol). We loved that they had a great variety of options, including many vegetarian options. I went with the egg & cheese sandwich and accidentally ordered it without the greens & sauce (whoops!). However, it was still delicious and satisfying. My husband got the avocado toast which was SUPER filling due to the hummus that was on it. He was only able to finish half of it. We also got a side order of fruit which, to my delight, was a bowl of berries! The fruit is seasonal so the combination might be different depending on what time of year you are visiting. Also, both of our coffees met our standards, which are a bit high these days. So kudos to them on that! The ambiance was absolutely incredible!!! Very well lit with a bright, welcoming atmosphere. We sat near the back of the restaurant (away from all windows), however we still felt like we were being flooded with sunlight. It was wonderful! Definitely recommend coming here to grab breakfast while visiting Beacon!

There are also plenty of tables to sit at if you're dining in. I ordered the Forager Hash, which had a poached egg, asparagus, spinach, mushrooms, peppers, fingerling potatoes, and topprd with maple harissa and paprika aioli. I also got their pumpkin spice latte. My boyfriend got one of their specials, which was Shakshouka, a poached egg dish in a pepper sauce that was served with bread for dipping. Both dishes were so flavorful! We really enjoyed them. You could also tell they made their own pumpkin syrup for the latte. It tasted so good and not overly sweet at all. Highly recommend!

It was nice to have a conversation with our group. It has a very warm atmosphere. Our food was good I got the hot honey chicken. My wife got the fish and chips both were good. A couple in our group got their food and it was cold but the cook made them a second order. The wait staff was not trained well and seemed very overwhelmed and irritated by the number of customers. Our food order was taken and it took 40 mins before the first dish was on the table. A few of the drinks were forgotten and the waitress was irritated when we asked any questions regarding the order. The Bloody Mary was very salty and undrinkable. Needless to say the cook/owner came out to care for our bill and was irritated when one of our group was asked how long we waited, by a customer and we informed them of the long wait time. He told us to leave and never come back to his restaurant. After the heated exchange I attempted to have a calm conversation outside and he wouldn't allow, nor take the time to have a polite conversation. Though the food was good, I will not be returning due to the rude interchange, that wasn't very professional for a cook/owner. I would not recommend this establishment.
