The staff was super attentive and kind, checking on us frequently. My friend and I stopped by for happy hour, and this should absolutely make it onto the list of the best in town. They have delicious wine, cocktails, and bites for nearly half of the regular price. I opted for the happy hour prosecco to drink, which was light-bodied and not too sweet. We split the meatballs and dates for bites and both were outstanding. I was super impressed with how tender the meatballs were, and they did not skimp on the flavorful marinara and cheese! The dates, which were topped with a white wine cheese sauce, were mouth-wateringly delicious and a must order. There was also complimentary focaccia with olive oil, which was greatly appreciated. With sea salt on top and a crispy exterior, I could easily have eaten a whole loaf. The only note I have is that the portions are small, so if you don't come during happy hour the prices are a bit steep for what you get. Will 100% be back soon to try more of the menu and highly recommend making the trek over here!

You have to order with the hostess at the door, unusual, but don't panic--it works well. And you can always add dishes or drinks from your table. We ordered a number of dishes to share, one better than the next. It was a great experience. We'd love to go back.

The service was still great and they were happy to get you anything else you wanted, you don't have to go back up to the front. The sweet potato was a stand out dish, I wasn't sure if it would be up my alley and it was so delicious, I wanted another! Everything else was good, but I didn't love the steak. Carrot cake sundae was tasty for dessert. Overall, food, service, and ambiance were great. My only complaint is the price per portion size; I know this is so common for nicer restaurants like this but it felt a little over the top. For a very pricey dinner (and we only got one drink each!), you'd hope to be leaving feeling more full than we did. The food was so good though, I might come back for a light early dinner or late night snack. Or if I win the lottery and can order two of everything!

On the negative side I found the decor while fundamentally well designed a bit dreary. What drove us crazy was that not only did the waiters give a recitation of the contents of the food when it was presented ( it was swift but unnecessary) BUT the waiter began to recite the entire menu ...line by line vegetable, animal , and mineral..I stopped him after two minutes telling himself that we knew how to read and we would simply ask him any questions ,if we had any. I don't no who came up with this ridiculous practice.
