Wow; this is a great little water park for kids and families!…read more Our church school academy here in Jacksonville booked the entire water park for our K-6 graders plus their families 9am until 12:30pm. I drove the big bus for the school for this event today. I didn't take any photos of the park due to the kids; wouldn't be appropriate! If you want to see photos how things are setup look on their website. * Love how the kids water area is setup! They have a lot of large umbrellas set up all around to sit under. They also have a lazy river and large pool. Every one had a great time today! This is definitely a great place for families for the day. Thank you St Marys Aquatic Center for all you do for the community!

Fun place to spend the day. Seasonal hours. Check website for up to date info or call. Be prepared…read morethey don't allow outside food to come in even if you food allergies. Which means you have to leave your allergen friendly food in your car while you swim and then leave to eat in your car and come back... while in the heat of Georgia. Little inconsiderate , and little scammy... they're trying to increase sales which sucks when there's not medical exceptions made. That said, the slide is nice (don't wear shorts or swim wear with grommets on it or they'll offer to cut holes in your pants to remove it or not allow you to get on the slide). The lazy river is short but nice. The season pass options seemed decent. Food inside is rather overpriced and food allergies can't be accommodated. That said, plenty of chair to choose from, if you're willing to cross the lazy river by foot you can set up your things in the middle of the lazy river and enjoy a bit quieter of an area. Nice splash area for kids with a dunking water bucket. Would go again

We are locals and decided to try out the Daytona Lagoon on an afternoon at a discounted rate since…read morewe only wanted to use the lazy river. Very much looking forward to a few relaxing hours in the water. I checked and purchased tickets online, the website clearly stated that all water park features were available for this rate. Sounded great! We arrived and immediately had problems with the staff validating our parking. Then, we asked about lockers, and they were $10 - $15 to keep your things safe. We paid that additional fee, and then realized that the lazy river was shut down. I asked a lifeguard why, and he said they were understaffed and maybe it would open at 4 or 5 (our tickets were only good until 6). Other visitors were also complaining about this. There are no umbrellas, just chairs in the sun. And the only attraction we wanted to do was closed so we got our stuff out of the expensive locker and asked for a refund. The manager said that the lack of lazy river access was specified in the online ad, which it was not. She then said that we should be happy since this was a discounted fee. We were not. They finally did refund our money but refused to refund the locker fee since they outsource this service. And, of course, the parking was still a problem. My husband also had bought a drink with a $20 bill and the attendant scrutinized it saying they had a lot of counterfeits. All in all the entire experience was hugely frustrating and disappointing. They treated us like the bad guys when they had clearly misrepresented the experience. I can see why no one was really there. This place could be a great asset to Daytona, but it is really a huge embarrassment. We won't be back, and we won't recommend it to anyone else.
