Had a great time. We showed up about noon and enjoyed several hours at the water park. Both the adults and children enjoyed the slides and wave pool. The park wasn't packed so that was nice. The staff were helpful and kind. We didn't purchase any food or drinks on site so I can't speak on any of that. But they did provide a free water cooler which is all we needed. Lockers were available but we didn't use one. Plenty of seating and there's also shaded seating that can be rented if you choose. Also available were "cabanas" to rent which had tables and chair and a cooler you can use if you had a large party or something. We left, cleaned up and went to dinner then came back that evening to do the go carts and laser tag. The go cart staff was cool and everything went smoothly. The carts and maintained and ran well. The laser tag was fun also. We met several friends there and had a good time. Overall would recommend Daytona lagoon. Some prices seemed high but hey, welcome to Daytona beach in 2024 ‍. We are locals and decided to try out the Daytona Lagoon on an afternoon at a discounted rate since we only wanted to use the lazy river. Very much looking forward to a few relaxing hours in the water. I checked and purchased tickets online, the website clearly stated that all water park features were available for this rate. Sounded great! We arrived and immediately had problems with the staff validating our parking. Then, we asked about lockers, and they were $10 - $15 to keep your things safe. We paid that additional fee, and then realized that the lazy river was shut down. I asked a lifeguard why, and he said they were understaffed and maybe it would open at 4 or 5 (our tickets were only good until 6). Other visitors were also complaining about this. There are no umbrellas, just chairs in the sun. And the only attraction we wanted to do was closed so we got our stuff out of the expensive locker and asked for a refund. The manager said that the lack of lazy river access was specified in the online ad, which it was not. She then said that we should be happy since this was a discounted fee. We were not. They finally did refund our money but refused to refund the locker fee since they outsource this service. And, of course, the parking was still a problem. My husband also had bought a drink with a $20 bill and the attendant scrutinized it saying they had a lot of counterfeits. All in all the entire experience was hugely frustrating and disappointing. They treated us like the bad guys when they had clearly misrepresented the experience. I can see why no one was really there. This place could be a great asset to Daytona, but it is really a huge embarrassment. We won't be back, and we won't recommend it to anyone else. read more

We had a great time spending the day at Daytona Lagoon on the way to our Florida family vacation. It's not very fancy but the slides were all really fun! It was semi crowded on a Monday but hardly any lines so I'd hate to be there on a Saturday. There do seem to be lots of seating options to accommodate crowds. The kids area and lazy river were our favorites but we tried every slide and the wave pool. The food from was pretty good but $$$. Our only complaint was the bathrooms being rather outdated and the men's room did not have working showers or changing rooms. read more

Today I went to the Daytona Lagoon, and it was okay. The park its self was a bit outdated, the lines were long, and it was pretty dirty. Because of the long lines, I was only able to go to the lazy river, the wave pool, a slide, and some sort of big half slide that goes up and down, and all of those rides were fun and all, except I don't think it's worth it for the lines, and money. We were there during vacation for the children to enjoy some fun in the evening. The staff at the counter in the redemption center where we had to buy our cards/passes was less than helpful or happy. As we walked through the arcade to use those we kept finding machine after machine that was "disabled" or simply turned off. I counted 25 that were not able to be used! Fix the machines or let customers know before they buy the big card and aren't able to play the things they want to. read more

First visit today and we had a blast. This review is based solely on water park tickets, we didnt do any indoor activities. They have a wave pool ( with SUPER attentive lifeguards), a lazy river, 6 or 7 slides, and a kiddie area with additional fun and slides. Eveything was pretty clean and staffed. You can rent a locker for about $8. The women's bathrooms have showers and changing areas. The reason I'm giving 4 stars is 1) the food is overpriced, terrible, and takes FOREVER to get made..and 2) unless to pay for the overpriced reserved seating, every single lounge chair is directly in thy sun. This was our first time and we were very impressed. Smaller than most water parks but very family oriented. They have 4 different places to eat and the pizza was the best thing on the menu for my family. We went for the half off discount from 4-10pm and it was well worth it. We went mid July. My daughter was 5 weeks from delivering her baby and wanted to relax in the lazy river. She and her husband drove in from StAugustine whilst her sister and I drove to Daytona from Viera. Prices are reasonable, parking is convenient and if you want there is an arcade and other attractions. We very much enjoyed the day- it was her 28th birthday. The lifeguards were impressive. They kept a close eye on everyone. In fact a man in his 20's seemed to be having difficulty in the fast moving lazy river. He was out of his tube and was having problems standing upright due to the fast flow plus we think he did not know how to swim. The lifeguard immediately jumped right in and helped upright him. Kudos to the team there. You are great. Only reason I am not giving a 5 is because the restrooms by the pool have a mildew like smell and could be cleaner. read more

I visited yesterday October 9, 2021, due to me purchasing some sale online tickets for $15.99 for the Waterpark and $15.99 for the amusement park. When I arrived I parked adjacent to the park my vehicle and the cost is $4. We entered the front entrance, got in line to redeemed our tickets and saw that three attractions were closed which one of them was the lazy river due to staff shortage. We were able to accomplish three slides, they were pretty good and did the wave pool for last. We got a little hungry and thirsty, we had to drinks piña colada, they did have the souvenir cup for sale, still getting upset, purchased regular cups. I mozzarella sticks and my friend churro bites ended up pretty tasty. Later than evening, we visited the amazed side, and we played a little gulf, rode the race karts ( I enjoy the most.) We did some rope climbing and later purchased $50 card to play. I was getting a little hungry and noticed the food court was closed, it got me a little upset and thought about staff shortage. I give this whole park a 3 out of 5, it could have been better. Maybe in couple of months it will get better. I really do want to return. read more

1 star rating because a rating is necessary to leave a review. This place is a scam. I want to point out that the staff is truly not to fault on any of the issues we encountered, however, upper level leadership/owners are to blame. If you purchase tickets in advance it should be known that this is absolutely zero benefit to doing so. You will still stand in a very long line upon entry and still even spend 30+ minutes AFTER waiting in line for them to figure out how to assign prepaid Cabanas & multi-park passes. Once we figured out how to just "enter" the park we were given skin tight wristbands and sent on our way. At zero point did anyone ever explain to us where the cabanas we rented were nor did they ever stop by to "take our order" as advertised on the website. After being here for several hours and realizing that there would never be anyone to stop by, we went to the outdoor food area where we waited in line for nearly an hour to find out that the staff checking us in did not give us a paper that the concessions staff needed to document the deluxe package of free food. So we were sent inside to wait in another line to then wait for a manager who at first glance of my online receipt said that we "did not have the deluxe package including food" and I had to READ MY RECEIPT to him stating "deluxe all day inclusive package" to which he said "oh no I'm sorry I can't read, it says it right there." So I asked him what should I do since I just stood in an hour long line and still haven't ordered food he just pointed behind me and said "looks like that line is good to me." We finished out day at the water park and came inside to use the $15 arcade cards and remainder of our tickets that were to include "unlimited fun park" to find out the 4 arcade cards given to us did not work at all. Back to the front desk we went. It took a very long time for them to figure out another mistake yet again. We couldn't use our passes for fun at all. This place was A HUGE SCAM! Don't plan on this being a full day and/or an enjoyable day of vacation! The lifeguard staff seemed to be very "up to code" which has likely kept this pace open for some time. read more

Small cabana rental price I found online was $75. Arrived at Daytona Lagoon and it was 149.99. Apparently I was looking at an old website. No big deal. Online, the cabanas were described as having a ceiling fan and refrigerator. No ceiling fan and the "refrigerator" is a cooler. We went ahead and kept the cabana as we had already paid, and having a waitress was a perk. When we ordered lunch, we discovered the waitress is not really a perk. There was a hefty service charge for ordering through her. Only one slide is open per hour. Lazy river is closed. $450 for four people, including lunch but not including what we'll spend in the arcade. We'll likely come back another time, but definitely no cabana and will call ahead to see what attractions are open. Absolute money grab. read more

I purchased all access wristbands for two of my grandkids and myself and we went yesterday, 9/4. I was really worried because of all of the recent negative reviews but honestly, we had a great time! Yes, there is some rust and paint needed in places. Yes, the wave pool was down for maintenance and one of the big slides was closed. However everything else was operating and was lots of fun. The park was clean, not dirty at all. The lazy River was relaxing and the kiddie section was great. The staff was very helpful and polite. The go carts are super fun and the arcade is awesome. I would definitely recommend this place. The only thing I would do different is to only pay for the water park and pay separately for the go karts. It cost $177 for three wristbands and the only part of the dry park we used was the go carts. I could have paid $66 and done the same things. read more

Great way to occupy the kiddos! 4/5 stars as you CANNOT bring any food/beverages inside. We did have a large pepperoni pizza (a hair under $20). I didn't try but kids loved it. Would've been nice to bring a refillable water or disposable water bottle in. As a group of 5 it gets $$$$. Now you are (with wrist band) allowed in&out privileges. So why don't they discount tickets during this time.They need signs or tell people at ticket office the way it operates during these months. read more

I'm rating Daytona Lagoon based on what I expect from a similar place in a similar touristy environment, which isn't typically my scene. But when passing through the area and looking for a fun way to spend an hour+ with my kids, it fit the bill and was worth it. Their primary plans were go-carts, laser tag and mini golf, so I chose the 1 hour unlimited dry pass for $22 each. That also included a sky walk, rock climbing, and frog bounce ride for younger ones. I didn't do the pass for myself or my 3 year old, knowing she was too small to enjoy most of that, but did buy her an $8 round of mini golf. Go Carts: at the desk we were told the driver must have a learners permit at least, and so my oldest (15) was able to drive my 8 year old. But outside it said 16 and licensed. However, they didn't say a word and he drove them 3 times without issue. It wasn't as fun the first 2 without anyone else driving for them to race with. Laser Tag: they said it was good, and no complaints Sky Walk: this was the surprising one, as they both liked it enough to do it twice. The zip line ending was their favorite part by far. Frog Hopper: boring for 8 year old, way too small/young for 15 year old, but 3 year old probably would have liked it. Golf: basic course with not much in the way of fun obstacles, but enjoyed by all. Yes, there was chipped paint in places, the people were interesting, and it felt very DB touristy, but for what it is, the value wasn't bad and my kids had fun. read more

Expensive...(obviously). You pay for parking, you pay to get in, you pay $3 for a tiny bag of Doritos (.50 at the grocery store) BUT it is a tourist trap...so you expect it. It is a smaller water park, but it does have the basics....kiddie area with slides, wave pool, lazy river, tall slides. Suprisingly it wasn't that crowded during the week....no long lines for the slides. We had no problem getting chairs (no need to rent the cabanas.) They have key pad lockers (better than the old school 'wrist key lockers') for valuables. $8 for the day and you can set your own key code. *Don't bring your own food...they do bag checks before you enter* read more

I am Daytona Beach resident, and I haven't been to Daytona Lagoon in a couple years. My family and myself wanted to spend the day at the waterpark. I read that there was a remodel and under new management. So we decided to give a try on March 16, 2022. I only noticed one new ride and everything looked the same in the water park, so maybe it was in the remodel was the dry attractions. The management wasn't that friendly, their faces were in their phones, no name tags, and no acknowledgement of the guests. ( 1 star). The water park staff were friendly and the life guards were on their game ( 5 stars ). Wave pool was broken, 2 slides were closed, and a lot of the furniture was stained with mildew. A toddler foot size hole was in the kiddie section. The water was FREEZING (LOWER THAN SPRING WATER TEMP). After your toes and legs get the numb (5-7mins later) it's time to get out and get your blood circulating. I know we live in Florida, but doesn't mean to the water shouldn't be heated when water reach a certain lowered temp. The food wasn't horribly priced, plenty of seating, and parking was good. The water park prices are different online, then at the gate (about a $2 difference, but online also charges a convenience fee of $5). Will I be back again? Maybe in a couple of years. I would travel the distance and pay the extra for friendly management, heated water, and working wave pool at Orlando Water parks. I am about supporting my local businesses, but sorry not this time. read more

This is the water park for Daytona. The lazy river is relaxing if not for the screaming kids. The wave pool is fun and the playground area with the water getting dumped from a giant bucket is always a fun place to play with the little ones. Several slides to enjoy as well for all ages. There are places to set your chairs that can be relatively quiet - go to the upper decks. There is also an arcade area and a go-cart area for dry adventure. We have had several parties here in the past and the party room is inside and quiet. Overall a fun place to go if you are looking for this type of entertainment in Daytona Beach. read more

Traveled to Daytona and the kids really wanted to go to the water park. I don't think you can expect a family amusement park to be cheap. I thought the prices were fair. It was a very hot day so we got one of the mobile umbrellas it was perfect. The water was clean and the rides were fun. Lunch is a little pricey but it was quite good. After about four hours it began to rain and we went and did the indoor activities which were a blast. We definitely got our moneys worth. If you go in there thinking you're only going to spend 100 bucks then it's not the place for you. The last two water parks we went to were far worse than this one. read more

Took my daughter and nephew whose both 10. Got there suer early and to wit in the line. While waiting there were 5 charter buses ms a school bus unloading wht seemed like 300 kids. My husband and I were talking about leaving. But we stayed and what was thought to take forever become quickly, we got ou tickets asked if there were any umbrellas left she said no so I grabbed a small cabana. Yeah $400 later for a day. The place was nice and wave pool was too warm for our liking. The lifeguards were friendly. The rides were fun! Mid day we ordered lunch and $85 for 4 chicken tender combos and a drink!!! The place is ridiculously expensive and or that we won't be back. Which is sad. Bc we all had fun! But just a days worth of ONLY waterpark was outrageously expensive. read more
