They had moved to River St I take responsibility for not knowing that, although there is no notice on website except the new address at the bottom. Not knowing they moved, of course I did not look for their address at the bottom of site when i booked online. I called to tell them i could not make it to my appt due to address change and my lack of transportation I asked them not to charge as I would re-book. But bc of their unfriendly customer service policies they charged me 50%. I expressed my opposition to this but they didnt care. And they also didnt care when i said i would find a new salon . Was it really worth it Salon Etre to lose a 10 yr customer over a policy and a 50% charge for a wash and blow out you did not deliver? I would have given some grace and made an exception for a 10 yr customer who had never canceled in the past, waived the fee, and used the salon's slush fund to cover the stylist. You would have had me for another 20 yrs!

I had always gotten my hair done in Manhattan and was wary of getting it done in the suburbs (was having nightmares of a chunky highlighted blond bob) but decided to give this place a try. I'm so so so glad I did! The space is immaculate and they have the proper procedures in place to safely get your hair done.
