I have hearing loss, and during the interaction there was a communication issue. Instead of trying to clarify or be patient, the employee made a comment to my pregnant fiancée that I "need to learn communication skills." I found that remark disrespectful and completely uncalled for. Customer service goes a long way, especially in a neighborhood liquor store where there are plenty of other options. Based on how I was treated, I won't be returning and will be taking my business elsewhere. I hope management takes customer interactions more seriously, because no one should leave feeling disrespected after a simple purchase.

The Cole slaw was somewhat disappointing though.. it had raisins in it?!?! Who does that?? The lobster roll could have used some more mayo on it but overall I was extremely satisfied with the meal and the service. We were seated next to the bathroom and kitchen towards the back but each of the tables in the back had window views to the water so that was nice. Bathrooms were clean and the service was excellent. With the rooftop, multiple floors, and overall atmosphere, some good background music would have added a lot of energy and made the experience even better. Overall, great beer selection, decent food, cool three-floor layout, and an excellent rooftop vibe. Add some music and this place could easily move up another notch.

We luckily caught it right before it closed for the season, and it was the perfect spot to enjoy a beautiful day in the city. The staff were very friendly and even gave us a few tasters of beer so we could find the perfect one -- such a nice touch! The beer was excellent, the vibes were great, and the setting couldn't be better -- right in the heart of Boston with beautiful views of the Boston Harbor Hotel and its large American flag. Such a fun, laid-back atmosphere. We're so glad we got to experience it before the season ended, and we'll definitely be back next time we're in Boston!
