Boston Bottle: A Gem in the North End…read more This little gem in the North End has become my go-to spot for all things wine, beer, and spirits! Whether you're a casual drinker or a seasoned connoisseur, Boston Bottle has something for everyone. Amazing Selection: They boast a fantastic selection of wines, from budget-friendly bottles to top-shelf labels. Their craft beer selection is impressive, showcasing local favorites (think Cloud Candy and Lord Hobo) and unique finds from around the world. But for me, the highlight is the hand picked spirits selection. They have a unique variety of bourbons and Ryes (My favorites have been Elijah Craig, Woodford Reserve, Michter's, Fortuna, Found North, Fiddler, Representative) but also vodkas, gins, and more, all neatly organized and displayed. Top-Notch Service: What truly sets Boston Bottle apart is the exceptional service. Greg, the owner, is incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable. He's always happy to chat about different options and offer recommendations based on your preferences. If you're looking for a specific bottle, he'll go the extra mile to track it down within a few days if it's available. Fair Prices & Friendly Faces: I'm happy to report that Boston Bottle is not a place for price gouging. Their prices are fair and competitive, making it a great option for anyone looking for quality beverages without breaking the bank. And let's not forget Ken, who also works there! He helps keep things running smoothly when Greg can't be there and is just as friendly. Need mixers or non-alcoholic options? Look no further than Sidecar, which conveniently opened right next door in November! They offer a wide variety of mixers, sodas, and even a great selection of non-alcoholic beers, perfect for completing your drink or finding a refreshing alternative. Overall: If you're in the North End, I highly recommend checking out Boston Bottle. Their hand picked selection, outstanding service, and reasonable prices make it a top choice for anyone seeking a great selection of beverages and an enjoyable shopping experience. They often have wine tastings on Friday from 5-8pm. Instagram is a great way to keep up to date with them. @BostonBottle and @sidecaralcoholfree 5 out of 5 stars!

If I could give this place more stars, I absolutely would. The fact that anyone has anything…read morenegative to say about Boston Sail Loft blows my mind. From start to finish, we had an amazing experience here. We ate here on Sunday. They open at 11:30am. We got in line around 11:00 am, and there were already dozens of people waiting in line for them to open . Around opening time, the owner came out and personally greeted everyone as they came into the restaurant. He was so friendly. He greeted passers-by on the street and talked with the locals. The staff was friendly and answered all our questions. They provided recommendations and offered suggestions. We sat at a window table and were able to see out at the boats. It was cute and quaint inside! I got a cup of the clam chowder. I 100% recommend it! They add dill and omit the pork, which made it so delicious! My friend and I split the fish and chips, and it was more than enough for two people. The fish was cooked perfectly and the fries (chips) were crispy without being too crunchy. We added a bit of pepper to our fish, and my goodness does that make a difference. If you visit Boston, want an awesome local establishment with delicious food and overly friendly staff, this is the place for you. This was my third visit to Boston and I'm so sad I didn't know about it sooner. It's a MUST.

The clam chowder was tasty but the Cajun Popcorn Shrimp was just average. Lobster was well prepared but halibut was slightly overcooked and mashed potatoes were bland. All in all, a decent experience.

Everything was outstanding. I'm a cheese fanatic wand was thoroughly impressed with their cheese…read moreboard. Their pickled vegetables were perfectly done and plentiful, and it was surely enough food to go around. Ambience is rather loud, it looks like a pub. I took my parents here and we still had a great time. Note: not a lot of parking. They do have outdoor space though! Service is very good. Food was incredible, the blue cheese pizza had a RIDICULOUS amount of blue cheese on it. My mom thought it was too strong, I reheated it at home with an extra slice of bread. The muffin was fantastic and th burger was great too. All in all we had a wonderful time.

Cozy little spot with a pizza oven and an open kitchen (elite combo). Plenty of seating. I went for a weekday dinner and was served instantly. Started with the oyster bombs ($17 for 3) because oyster + tuna is a power couple. Fresh, creamy, perfectly seasoned with mayo and chives...gone in 30 seconds. My server convinced me to get the spicy clam, and it was devoured so fast. It was gone before he filled my water! Packed with clam meat, drowning in tomato sauce, and it actually had heat --not that "we waved a chili at it" kind of spicy. I fully intended to have some for the next day and then aggressively did not. Final verdict: cozy vibes, bold flavors, zero self-control, and I will absolutely be back.
