I just like don't like beer... it's an acquired taste that I don't have. The bar food was mid. We got cheese pizza which was way too cheese heavy, loaded nachos which was good but felt like a conglomeration of toppings thrown together, and soft pretzels which was okay except it was too buttery for me. Vibes were good here to watch the World Cup final tho! The line to get in was long because it was a one in one out system but other than that service was fast

I love Sam Adams Beer! So when we were visiting the Boston Massacre site and I spied the giant Sam Adams location I was absolutely going in! They have three bars on all different levels. We enjoyed our beer on the rooftop. If you follow my reviews you know that is absolutely the vibe I enjoy in the summer. You have to go up to the counter to order. It's first come first serve so you just have to find a spot. We got lucky though. We didn't eat but I know they have food. I feel like if you're in Boston you kind of have to stop here!

Great bear, great atmosphere and great food. What more can you ask for? When you are in Boston you have to stop here to have the complete Boston experience.

If you don't want to head too far out of the main Boston area, this is your destination for great craft beers by Sam Adams! We were waiting for a bar tour to start (which ultimately brought us back in here anyways). We both got a drink to sit and enjoy for a bit while we waited. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was really busy for a Bruins game that was going to start in a couple hours, so this place looked like a great bar to watch the game at or even before or after the game.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It looked like they had small bites for food too but am not sure as we didn't get anything.

We stopped by the Samuel Adams Tap Room for lunch this afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The staff was friendly, attentive, and very helpful with menu recommendations. On our bartender's suggestion, we ordered the Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza and it absolutely delivered. The crust was perfectly balanced -- crisp and firm on the outside while remaining soft and airy in the center, exactly how great pizza should be served. The sauce had excellent flavor, and the combination of pepperoni and hot honey created the perfect balance of savory, sweet, and heat without overpowering the pie itself. My wife sampled a flight of four locally available beers and really enjoyed the opportunity to try selections that are difficult to find outside the Boston area. I jokingly told her not to become too attached to them since we wouldn't be bringing them home with us. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere inside the Tap Room was lively, modern, and unmistakably Boston, with plenty of Samuel Adams history woven throughout the space without feeling overly commercialized.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had a fantastic experience here and would absolutely recommend stopping by if you find yourself in the greater Boston

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Had a fun time at the Sam Adams Tap Room.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is not the actual brewery as it's located near the center of Boston but its just as good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They were having Boston Marathon specials here with commemorative merchandise, 26.2 brews made just for the race, pint glasses, bottle openers, and more. We were here a few nights before the marathon and a live band was playing, and we ate some delicious warm pretzels with dipping sauces and tater tops along with some chicken tenders. Appropriate bar snacking to fuel up for the race! LOL! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Good staff, a store up front to purchase all types of Sam Adams brand items & packs of their brews, and a large dining area with community long tables to sit at.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely worth a visit.

2 stars - POOR SERVICE 3 stars - food [[HIGHLIGHT]]This was close to our hotel and we wanted a quick bite and away from the heat and crowd. Sat at the bar[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's open seating. Big place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service slow and even though we made eye contact with male bartender, he ignored us for about 10 minutes and he again ignored us and went to other patrons that just sat down. We ordered the Turkey Sandwich and Reuben. There are way better places to stop for service, drinks and food

Brewery #408 Sam Adams was my 1st experience into craft brewing about 20 years ago and Sam Adams Boston Lager was a staple in my house for years. So, while I didn't get to visit the actual brewery, this tap room in the heart of downtown was second best. When you arrive, there is a gatekeeper checking ID's like I am about to go into a nightclub with glowsticks just right off the campus of some college. You even get a stamp on your hand. Beer and food were to be ordered at the bar. I asked the bartender if the outdoor patio was open and he rolled his eyes and pointed at a sign that said upstairs was closed. Sorry I missed it when going through the TSA precheck line. I then asked about flights and he looked annoyed again. I got one anyway. Sorry if you have to pour 4 mini beers instead of 1 big one. Life is tough. Anyway, the beer was solid, and glad I got to try 4 new things that I haven't had. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I wish the upstairs patio would have been open as it was 71 degrees and sunny.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's not like they had servers so I can't think of a reason to cattle us all together.

Was a great stopping point while on our Freedom Trail audio tour we were taking. Love the beer. Food was pub grub and filled our bellies. Staff was friendly and attentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Fun place to stop along the Trail and look out onto Faneuil Hall.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So much history in and around this area. Definitely a good place to stop if you're doing the Freedom Trail.

Walking around we wanted to grab drinks so we decided to stop here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Fun looking place, good amount of seating & areas to sit & watch the games on the big screens.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Drinks we went with New England juicy Ipa & the Last boss both good, nice taste. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a nice space to sit & watch a game[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], Service wise u can just grab yourself, unless siting at a table it seemed so it was quick as we just grabbed ourselves. we stayed here for a bit enjoying our drinks & time.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Very busy spot in a high traffic tourist area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The whole place is order at the bar and seat yourself.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Beers were very good. They have a few that are only offered there. Food was good also. We ordered flights and had the Reuben sandwich. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Good spot to have a little break and grab a beer while walking the Freedom Trail.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Best bartenders we ran into in downtown Boston. We bought a couple of shirts at the store, engaged in a conversation with the salesperson and ended up at the Taproom. Luckily they had the 20th anniversary "Patriot" collection for sale on 4 packs and on tap at the brewery. Great service, typical Sam Adam's brews plus the new ones and a convient location downtown

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Stopped by Samuel Adams Boston TapRoom right by Quincy Market and it's a great spot if you're in the area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The location is super central and the space is big, with plenty of tables, so it's easy to find a place to sit even when it's busy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There's a huge selection of beers, which was perfect since I was just there to grab a drink (did not try the food, but they do have a full menu). I did not see table servers most people were ordering directly at the bar but service was friendly and efficient. Overall, a solid stop for beer lovers exploring the area.

I ordered the Espresso Martini, which I learned the restaurant is famous for and after tasting it I understand while. I want to put the disclaimer that I am allergic to nuts, so I didn't have it how the restaurant traditionally prepares it (using Amaretto) but it still tasted excellent. The Espresso Martini was perfectly balanced between bitter and sweet and the had the perfect amount of foam on top. For my meal I got the Shrimp pasta with Zucchini. The shrimp was tender and the noodles were cooked to a perfect al dente. The zucchini added a nice contrast to the rich tomato sauce and helped make the dish feel light even though it was a bowl of pasta. My only complaint that the restaurant is very dim especially upstairs. Some people at our table joked that they might need to use their phone flashlight to read the menu, so if you are someone who struggles to see in dimly lit places keep that in mind.
