This is such a cute chill spot! Although it's not officially a rooftop, it definitely captures the essence of one with an elevated view overlooking Faneuil hall. There's lots of seating and there was even some nice live music when I went. I got the strawberry cucumber hard seltzer and it was tasty! I appreciated that they had options besides beer. Definitely worth a visit if you're into the beer garden vibe.

Fun beer garden near the Boston city hall. There is a great view of Faneuil Hall Visitor Center. Not too crazy busy with people when we went so it felt very low key. The service was very quick and friendly here. I tried the Koko Melon Kölsch which was very interesting! There are tons of other great options on tap to try! They have so many fun flavors!

Distraction and democracy is two different breweries who teamed up to make this great beer garden right by Faneuil Hall. It's in such a great location and directly overlooks the hall. In the garden area there's an assortment of couches and tables where you can claim a spot with the beer of your choice. If it's a sunny day in Boston this is for sure a spot to check out if your just looking to sit down and relax with a delicious brew.

Cute vibe, very casual and easy place for a beer. Great for people watching over Faneuil Hall, and perfect for a nice night out!

Beer was good but porta-potty was disgraceful. No TP--bring your own tissues. Try the workers beer but don't use facilities

12 dollars for a little plastic cup of beer. Tasted skunked I think the kegs sat out. Left after one.

Great beer selection, solid food options and an excellent staff…read more Interior space was quite crowded with minimal to no space at the tables and bar...even on a Monday early evening. I would expect the outdoor space would come in handy once the weather warms up. Conveniently located right off of Seaport Blvd. surrounded by some other good food and dessert options. Lots of parks in the area, including Fan Pier Park, which offers some spectaculay views of the Boston Skyline...particularly after dark. Metered Street Parking was actually manageable, especially in the later post 6-pm midweek hours in the Fort Hill Square Area. Meters are in effect through 8pm with a 2-hour maximum, so if you arrive after 6pm and feed the meter until 8pm, you are all set for the night! The South Station (Red) T Station is also nearby. Both options are a short walk to Fan Pier Park. There are also lots of garages available in the immediate area as well.

I got 5 oz pours of all of their IPA's and was in heaven. The Really Big Bird and Galaxy Cutting Ties were amongst my favorites. I wanted to try multiple stouts but unfortunately most of their pastry stouts were not on tap. They were only in 18.5-ounce bottles so I could only order one. I got the Macaroon Macaroon, which was a collab with Veil Brewing in Richmond VA (another phenomenal brewery that I have been to). It was dessert in a glass. I had the lady friend with me, or I would have opened and closed this place that or passed out in the corner. I was in heaven. She ordered some spinach and artichoke dip but I don't remember it. It was filler as far as I was concerned. This place isn't about the food; it's about their amazing beer.

She crushed them both. With the trio app, there was an orange dip that was outstanding. My husband and I shared the meat sampler (can't remember the name) that came with pork, beef and chicken. The chicken was so tender and juicy! We also ordered the spanakopita -- it was perfect. Everything we ate was a hit. Would recommend. Good food, great drinks, cute location.

We ordered the dip trio, the spanakopita, the feta 2.0, the scallops, and the gnocchi moussaka. The feta 2.0 was an absolute hit (got too excited so forgot to take a picture). The feta was soft and creamy, wrapped in fried phyllo, and soaked in honey. So unbelievably delicious. The spanakopita was also a favorite for us--it was served on a bed of tzatziki and was perfectly seasoned. The dip trio was generally delicious, but the butternut squash hummus was a bit underwhelming. The scallops were tasty, but perhaps a bit overcooked. I did really enjoyed our the gnocchi moussaka but it is a bit salty. Service was quick and our server made sure to check in with us multiple times throughout the night. It definitely felt like a more loud and lively environment. A great option in Seaport that I will keep on my list!

I've walked past the Harpoon beer garden all the time and always thought it was worth checking out…read moreas a summertime post-work activity. As a non-beer drinker, all I can say is they have a number of Harpoon beers on tap, as well as a hard cider that I am fond of, and for sustenance, they have a taco truck that I kept seeing people carry away nachos from. The one downside is that it is super LOUD from the performance stage at one end of the seating area. I am begging whoever organizes the performances to turn down the mic just a little. At some point, the live performances switched to a DJ which made the volume a bit more tolerable but my watch was still picking up dangerous decibel levels. We grabbed a table that was the furthest from the stage and I was still hoarse at the end of the night from shouting at my friend across the table. They have some reserved/standing only tables closer to the beer/food at the other end that might be quieter but we came on a Thursday and of course everything was packed. If you're looking to have a semi-quiet conversation, definitely go elsewhere in the park. But this pop up is a good choice if you just want to hang with friends, drink beer, and eat tacos. If you need to use a restroom, pro tip to use the AMC across the street.
