such a cute shop! They have everything you could ever need for indoor plants. They had great recommendations for soil and pest control. Lots of fun accessories too like cowboy hats and fun pets for your plants. I will have to take advantage of their service to repot your plants. I have quite a few in need of an upgrade!

Love this place. Whenever I need a new plant, this is my first stop. We've been coming here since 2021 and recommend that everyone comes here for all plant needs.

Love this place! Very cute and reasonably priced. The staff are usually friendly! Took a class here and it was so much fun at a great price. Looking forward to taking another class here! I forgot her name, but the person who ran the kokedama workshop on March 2nd, 2025 was awesome! Super friendly, funny, and helpful to us beginners!

West wall of the shop - plants, pots, soil, hooray!

I had been following posts on social media for this AMAZING plant shop for a few months and then was at a local bakery and met the charismatic owner and vowed to stop in ASAP. Wow, am I ever glad I did! First, it is important to note that Nodest and Bad Seed Coffee are two businesses with two different front doors but no wall between their shops. This means we already know they are very good neighbors who know how to share space and good vibes. Next, the plants are so healthy and happy! A nice variety and the selection is updated every week. I've been trying to stop in at least two Fridays each month to both bask in the gentle vibe of the place and to see what is calling my name :) Finally, I really like the selection of pots they have. Simple lines, nice selection of sizes with a couple quirky ones thrown in. They are happy to pot up your plants, which is just a huge relief for me, especially in the winter when I just can't quite deal with dragging my potting soil out of the garage. I'm currently taking my office plants in one by one for assessment and repotting, and everybody who has been repotted is SO happy. I totally recommend this plant rehab/repotting service. Bonus: you can enjoy coffee from Bad Seed while you wander through the space. I love it here. I hope you can come visit.

The best plant shop in Omaha. Mostly because of the incredible service by Shannon, Robbie, Bee, and the gang, but also because they have the most unique and well thought out plant selection in the area. There are workshops, events, and what more could you want than a plant shop that is also partnered by a coffee shop in the same building? Please do yourself a favor and go see for yourself! We had our wedding here, so yes they also do events

Brought in my giant monstera to be repotted as I could not do it alone. Staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. The price was reasonable considering how much time and effort it saved me. They also offer in home consultations and repots. I left with a happy plant and several propagations to share

They repotted my plants for me :) helped split one into two pots. You can buy their pots or bring your own!

**If I remember correctly you can schedule a terrarium workshop.** Everyone I've interacted with was so kind and helpful.

A touch of modern, whimsy, retro, vintage, and local sourcing- all in one shop. I dont believe I…read moreever visited them in the Old Market, so this was the first time for me. I LOVE that they are dog friendly, and I could bring along my lil dood after visiting Three Dog Bakery down the street. The staff member working that day was friendly, obviously loved dogs, and was eager to answer any questions I had about the store or the items inside. They have plenty of furniture (mostly living room/dining room), home decor, and also "knick knacks" which I would categorize as things like stationary, cards, coffee table items, mason jar sippy cups etc. They also have a small catus/succulent/air plant station where you can purchase plants and make your own design piece ala carte. I thought that was really cute, and purchased a few plants to replaces some dying ones in my home. Overall, this store has a very urban, city, "ikea" feel, and I am totally digging it. I do think the price tags for the furniture would make some modest Omaha dwellers cringe, but those who love interior decor as I do will find this place as fascinating as a kid in a candy shop.

While the products are amazing, it has been really hard for me to purchase things here due to their relatively high price points. However, supporting local creatives definitely adds value to the pieces sold here. Also, if you park at the midtown parking garages, you can validate your parking ticket in this store!

Let's get this out of the way first: it's a little out of the way. You gotta go down a side street…read moreyou've probably never taken before, then you've got to go around to the back of the building. But it's worth looking for, as you'll probably find something you didn't know you were looking for. What sets Among Other Things apart from all the other shops selling vintage and consignment stuff for the home is that their collection is well-curated. You won't find cheap craft crap; you'll find cool stuff from throughout the last, oh, 120 years or so. Any of it would look good in a well-appointed home. And thank heavens, they haven't completely jumped on the mid-century trend as most other such places have. From chairs to rugs to cards, there's something here for anyone with good taste. (I picked up a fairly recent photography coffeetable book at a reasonable price.) There's also an adjoining women's vintage clothing store (unfortunately, nothing for guys). While the location might be a little tough to find at first, it's one to put on your radar. (And not far from NFM, so any time you're thinking of visiting them, stop by here, too.)

Especially when you can find comparable items at a thrift store. As a result some items have been there for quite some time. I love that she also carries some local artists' works. But again, overpriced for what they are. The store is quite crowded, I don't think a stroller could fit through some of the walking paths. I worry about bringing my big purse in. Overall, it's a fun place to peruse, but after many visits, I've yet to pull the trigger on buying anything.
