This is in between CVS and Harrah's. Speakeasy vibe but not. We came after 7:30 which had live music. He was taking donations for song requests w his Venmo QR. He had a list of songs to choose from and they're all country slow version so don't expect an upbeat pop song. The popular most requested songs were listed at $20 like Wonderwall. He was nice to let our group sing as if it was karaoke. Keep in mind there were speakers outside on the side walk! For drinks, they have a list of craft cocktails like a coffee section, sippers, beer, mocktails. We ordered: Noel's Espresso Martini - delicious! Cafe Bamboo - Japanese whiskey Bonito - one of the first 3 on the menu that's sweet. This was very pineapple. Bananas in Nola - this is a sipper drink w 100 proof rye whiskey Elixir of the month - coffee old fashion The decor and vibe is very prohibition. During the day, they have a cafe for coffee, lattes and matcha w pastries. The beautiful velvet blue coaches are for reserved parties or first come first serve if no one reserved it. I would recommend to reserve otherwise you'll be at the bar. read more

Coffee served 'till 5pm, but coffee with spirits served 'till close! Creative cocktails. Live music. Cool atmosphere. A bit pricy at $20/drink. We enjoyed our time here. Would come back to try some other cocktails and also in the AM to try the other offerings: coffee, smoothies and a limited food menu. The only downfall is there is no street parking. There's a paid parking lot in back that's free for the first 45 minutes, then $15 for up to two hours. read more

Popped in early sun AM. Barista was busy but kept thanking us for our patience which goes a long way. Asked for an espresso shot and a pour over. Pour over was great. Clean, balanced, exactly what I was hoping for first thing in the morning. First espresso shot wasn't great. Something was off in extraction. To their credit, they pulled a second as a consolation and it was definitely better. Not perfect, but improved. I appreciated the effort. The space is kind of cutesy, kind of silly in a charming way. Apothecary vibes, playful decor, not taking itself too seriously. Overall enjoyed the coffee and the scene. I'd come back, probably for another pour over. read more

Stopped by this place for an early morning coffee and was pleasantly surprised. The interior was beautiful, a moody aesthetic with couches and bar seating available. There's also a small stage where live music is played daily. Both coffee and alcohol are served all day. I ordered the seasonal drink, a pistachio white mocha. It was so good! Perfectly balanced sweetness and the actual espresso was great too. The service was prompt, although not the friendliest. But there is minimal counter interaction so it wasn't as big of a deal. I would want to return for drinks and to hear the live music. read more

I have found was is currently my favorite bar in all of Nevada! We were in Tahoe for my bday weekend and decided to walk around South Tahoe and pop in at a couple different bars before our dinner plans. We had passed by this bar a couple times but at the time didn't realize what it was until we found it on yelp and liked what we saw. Open walking in we really like the aesthetic and they had a person playing acoustic guitar which further set the mood inside. We sat at the bar and were promptly greeted by Kristin and after a bit of looking at all the great drinks on the menu started making our way through a couple of them. All the drinks we had here were really good but my favorite for sure was the Coffee Negroni. Not just is it served in a cool way with the cocktail being poured over coffee into the glass, but it was an exceptional Negroni. We don't come to Tahoe too often but from now on this has to be a must-stop local for now into eternity. read more

This bar is so cute!! They also double as a coffee shop and have live music. I have to say the service was amazing today, I forgot the woman who helped me but she made delicious drinks, even customized some for my friend and was so patient. I love that they make their own syrups here, it made such a difference! The Noel's espresso martini is dangerous, you couldn't even taste the alcohol. The blueberry mint burbon drink was also so good, the egg whites really balanced out the burbon. read more

Friendly service from the barista...she was the only one working but warmly greeted us and informed us we'd be able to order as soon as she was done making the drinks for the previous customers. At least this Saturday night they had a DJ, a mini-dance floor, really fun vibes, just not what I expected for cocktail bar. We were lucky to snag bar seats right away ~11pm but right after, there was a line of folks waiting to get in and standing room only. Notably great service and hustle by the hosts and bartenders - they were busy! Noel's interestingly serves coffee in the AM, cocktails at nights, as well as I guess real food including hot pastrami during the day? I tried the Fleur de Neige, which tasted like a fancy lemonade - may not be a bad thing but unfortunately was too sweet for my taste and lacked complexity for $22 ($25 with tax and tip). The vibe was great and they had quite a bit of seating which allowed us to side down in a little personal nook. This is a special establishment, very worthy of your consideration. I had never heard of it, a friend and coworker suggested we check it out. "What are you talking about? Where are you wanting us to go to?" I was mumbling, as she was describing a space that used to be a casino. She was talking about a fancy bar and restaurant tucked into a small space between Harrah's and Bally's. I was game, we were exploring, what did we have to lose. It, frankly, was a blast of fresh air among a sea of sameness. The cocktails were prepared with thought and energy and explanations as we sat at the bar. I wish I had made the evening focused on this spot and not the others that we had been to. The environment was dark and intriguing. It made me want to try the food. It made me want to come back for coffee in the morning. So, based on the quality of the cocktails, we will be back and we will try the coffee. We will engage in more conversation with the bartenders. We will not worry about how difficult it is to get to this spot compared to others, and I'm speaking mostly about the hassle it is to park at South Lake Tahoe now. We love this place! This is a must visit bar if you are out in South Lake Tahoe. It has a dark and cozy speakeasy vibe. You can make a reservation on Open Table but depending on the season and day of the week you may not need it. This isn't the casino bar/club vibe, so just know what you are looking for going in. They have a bar with stools, or tables and couches depending on what you prefer, we have sat at both and had great experiences. The drinks here are on the pricey side, but the quality is there and they are fairly strong. They are truly craft cocktails with unique ingredients. We tried several different drinks and they were all interesting and delicious. The live music is a real plus also! Went for a latte during the day and this place has character and you'll want to take pics. The staff was friendly and the latte very good but definitely not a win for good black coffee or food. It's average but if I needed an amazing cocktail? This is your jam. I'd like to come back in the evening. We were there in the height of the summer season and parking is a bit difficult so pay the fee and park next door at the casino. We were able to snag a reservation through OpenTable and they sat our large party quickly. They have ample seating and such cute decor. Live music was just starting and it created a great vibe. The server was great and he took care of us promptly. The cocktails were delicious but pricey. They had a large selection of cocktails and even served some sweet treats such as ice cream and affogatos. I ordered an espresso martini and an affogato. A word to the wise, the affogatos are made with cold coffee or maybe a cold brew. It was still good but didn't give the full effect of a true affogato that is typically made with fresh espresso. One of my new favorite spots to grab coffee. I love how the inside a full on bar. But they have great coffee in the morning. . I got the boozy option first which was the espresso martini for 22 bucks which is pricey. It wasn't my favorite martini I have tasted. It was missing something. . Butterscotch ice latte was great! It was smooth and strong with coffee flavor. It reminds me of the recent trip I went to palm springs coffee shop which had amazing butter Scott latte which I went 3x that weekend because it was that amazing. This is one Is close to that too. . I will have to try the Irish coffee next. Which caught my eye. . Overall the inside is quite fancy. The decor is pretty cool and I love how this place is a coffee shop by day and a bar with a speakeasy atmosphere. We had the Fleur de Neige which was good, but a bit too sour for us. Some of my favorite places have that apothecary vibe. This place is no exception. Lush furniture and plenty to draw your eye. I had been wanting to try Noel's Coffee & Apothecary for quite some time, but on a previous trip to South Lake, and not realizing it's location, we were unable to find parking and decided to scrap the idea. So on our most recent trip to South Lake, we walked over from our hotel and were able to enjoy the amazing coffee that they have to offer during the day. We will definitely be back to try their cocktails at night, but I will say that their butterscotch latte with oat milk was hands-down one of the best lattes I have ever had. The service was extremely friendly and engaging, and the interior has such a cool vibe. Throwback apothecary with velvet and thematic touches. This is definitely the sort of place that is inviting you to stay a while.
