This review is for coffee and Matcha only. Walking in, the decor kind of takes your breath away. It is well-intentioned and dark in the right spaces. As I walked in, there was a musician setting up and the bartender greeted me. I ordered the banana bread latte iced with their house made banana bread syrup for my husband. That was my absolute favorite drink between that and the Matcha. I ordered the strawberry Matcha Americano and I think there might have been some confusion because I did order it iced but then said Americano so the bartender thought I wanted it hot. I told him not to worry about a remake and to just pour it over some ice because I don't like to waste. They say that they use a ceremonial Matcha. Being a matcha enthusiast, the color really wasn't there nor was the umami, but that's OK because what surprised me is that they actually make it in a bowl and whisk! While I wouldn't return for the Matcha, I would absolutely be back for coffee that has a house made syrup. We got it with oat milk and it was just divine. I found myself reaching for that drink more than my Matcha. Inside is very clean with plenty of seating and I love the live music aspect right when you walk in. read more

Located a few doors down front m Bally's next to CVS. There may be casino or bar between CVS and this place. Either way if you are standing infront of of Bally's and looking at Bally's on your right you can't miss Noel's. If you are wanting to come here in a car I have no idea where you'd park. I don't believe there is any street parking not even metered parking. My best guess is you have to pay to park in one of the casino parking lots. Service was extremely slow as they only had one person working the front. She was taking orders and making drinks. Including going to the back and making the smoothies. She was really hustling and continually apologizing for the wait. Everyone was really patient and we even gave her a big tip for all the work she was doing. I do believe there was a serving person in the back making the sandwiches. We had two of the 3 breakfast croissant sandwiches. There was one with hollandaise sauce and another with goat cheese and arugula. The one with the hollandaise I liked best initially, but unless you gobble it fast why it's still hot it's not the best. You need to eat it while it's piping hot. It's your typical breakfast sandwich. The one with the arugula and goat cheese was interesting. I'm not a fan of arugula so I had my doubts. As it turned out it was my favorite. The arugula wasn't too much. It balanced out the egg, tomato, and goat cheese. If you aren't familiar with goat cheese it's a lot like cream e. Same consistency. I'd order it again. They have plenty of cozy seating. I liked the tucked away booth in the back that we sat in. It's right before the bathroom. You won't see it till you head down the bar. There was a steady stream of patrons. Mostly only ordering drinks. Coffee drinks of one sort or another. The ones that were getting sandwiches were getting the arugula one. The space is narrow. You wonder what was there previously. They also have a full bar. Thank you for the adorable tissue packet. They have a basket of them for those that leave reviews. read more

This is in between CVS and Harrah's. Speakeasy vibe but not. We came after 7:30 which had live music. He was taking donations for song requests w his Venmo QR. He had a list of songs to choose from and they're all country slow version so don't expect an upbeat pop song. The popular most requested songs were listed at $20 like Wonderwall. He was nice to let our group sing as if it was karaoke. Keep in mind there were speakers outside on the side walk! Cafe Bamboo - Japanese whiskey Bonito - one of the first 3 on the menu that's sweet. This was very pineapple. During the day, they have a cafe for coffee, lattes and matcha w pastries. The beautiful velvet blue coaches are for reserved parties or first come first serve if no one reserved it. This little gem was an amazing experience! I went here with one of my girlfriends. They have an excellent coffee menu as well as a very inviting spirit selection. The bar tender was a beautiful lady wearing a cowboy hat and a smile. It feels like your in an older time medicine hut, with beautiful and dead things on the walls. Stopped by this place for an early morning coffee and was pleasantly surprised. The interior was beautiful, a moody aesthetic with couches and bar seating available. There's also a small stage where live music is played daily. Both coffee and alcohol are served all day. I ordered the seasonal drink, a pistachio white mocha. It was so good! Perfectly balanced sweetness and the actual espresso was great too. The service was prompt, although not the friendliest. But there is minimal counter interaction so it wasn't as big of a deal. Popped in early sun AM. Barista was busy but kept thanking us for our patience which goes a long way. Asked for an espresso shot and a pour over. Pour over was great. Clean, balanced, exactly what I was hoping for first thing in the morning. First espresso shot wasn't great. Something was off in extraction. To their credit, they pulled a second as a consolation and it was definitely better. Not perfect, but improved. I appreciated the effort. The space is kind of cutesy, kind of silly in a charming way. I have found was is currently my favorite bar in all of Nevada! We were in Tahoe for my bday weekend and decided to walk around South Tahoe and pop in at a couple different bars before our dinner plans. We had passed by this bar a couple times but at the time didn't realize what it was until we found it on yelp and liked what we saw. Open walking in we really like the aesthetic and they had a person playing acoustic guitar which further set the mood inside. We sat at the bar and were promptly greeted by Kristin and after a bit of looking at all the great drinks on the menu started making our way through a couple of them. All the drinks we had here were really good but my favorite for sure was the Coffee Negroni. Not just is it served in a cool way with the cocktail being poured over coffee into the glass, but it was an exceptional Negroni. We don't come to Tahoe too often but from now on this has to be a must-stop local for now into eternity. read more

I have to say the service was amazing today, I forgot the woman who helped me but she made delicious drinks, even customized some for my friend and was so patient. What an amazing experience ! It's 1:00 AM Saturday night/Sunday morning and it's still fresh in my mind. This was one of the best times that my wife and I have ever had at a bar. The ambiance was impeccable. The combination of the decor, the live DJ, and the crowd made for an unforgettable atmosphere ! The doorman/bouncer, who reminded me of Eric Andre (respectfully) was the epitome of professional and courteous. He introduced us to our bartender Logan, who is a true master of his craft. After drinking several of his finest creations, we were about to leave when he told us about his newest invention: a raspberry infused vodka that went down like AIR !!! Noel's interestingly serves coffee in the AM, cocktails at nights, as well as I guess real food including hot pastrami during the day? I tried the Fleur de Neige, which tasted like a fancy lemonade - may not be a bad thing but unfortunately was too sweet for my taste and lacked complexity for $22 ($25 with tax and tip). Great coffee and fun seasonal flavors. I got the b&w mocha and it was the perfect sweet to coffee ratio. Barista was super friendly and inside it's very cute and decorated. The vibe was great and they had quite a bit of seating which allowed us to side down in a little personal nook. Drinks are around ~$19, I tried a sipper, which was more spirit heavy, but pretty good. My friends tried the cocktails and I really enjoyed the guava one, sweet and fruity! The alcohol used is made from fermenting sugarcane! The vibes were very nice -- there was a musician playing the saxophone. This is a special establishment, very worthy of your consideration. I had never heard of it, a friend and coworker suggested we check it out. "What are you talking about? Where are you wanting us to go to?" I was mumbling, as she was describing a space that used to be a casino. She was talking about a fancy bar and restaurant tucked into a small space between Harrah's and Bally's. I was game, we were exploring, what did we have to lose. It, frankly, was a blast of fresh air among a sea of sameness. The cocktails were prepared with thought and energy and explanations as we sat at the bar. I wish I had made the evening focused on this spot and not the others that we had been to. The environment was dark and intriguing. It made me want to try the food. It made me want to come back for coffee in the morning. So, based on the quality of the cocktails, we will be back and we will try the coffee. We will engage in more conversation with the bartenders. We love this place! This is a must visit bar if you are out in South Lake Tahoe. It has a dark and cozy speakeasy vibe. You can make a reservation on Open Table but depending on the season and day of the week you may not need it. This isn't the casino bar/club vibe, so just know what you are looking for going in. They have a bar with stools, or tables and couches depending on what you prefer, we have sat at both and had great experiences. The drinks here are on the pricey side, but the quality is there and they are fairly strong. They are truly craft cocktails with unique ingredients. We tried several different drinks and they were all interesting and delicious. The live music is a real plus also! It's average but if I needed an amazing cocktail? This is your jam. I'd like to come back in the evening. Found a unique and cool little spot today for breakfast. Loved the interior of the place. Great vibe. Had probably one of the most delicious lavender honey lattes ever- it's my favorite coffee! I also had a goat cheese, arugula, tomato, béchamel and egg sandwich called the Deja vu. I usually don't like goat cheese, but it was really delicious on this breakfast sandwich.
