The bar area plays a lot of really good music to enjoy your drink. We went two days in a row to enjoy some tall beers. Every morning we went for coffee and they did a great job with the Americanos we ordered...I loved the Lake Tahoe cookies. They have a lot of bakery items and breakfast lunch items to choose from that are way better than the previous options at Starbucks. Whoever came up with this conceptual idea is truly a genius!!! We go to this place when in Tahoe, it's help's w/ free drinks as Diamond Status, practically paid for it already lol. Anyway, specialty coffees and food selections are great and taste good too. Cleo's is located next to the front desk, on the 1st floor. It is a great addition to Caesars Republic. They serve coffee, tea, smoothies and snacks. The opposite side has a nice bar and lounge to hang out. I enjoyed their breakfast burrito, coffee and freshly squeezed OJ. The breakfast burrito was made fresh. I ordered Ham & cheese croissant, blueberry muffin, yogurt parfait, Butterscotch Latte and Cinnamon Ube Shaken Espresso. He was able to spike a 2nd for me and me and the wife. Oh what a night, walking around South Lake and Heavenly Village sipping on the warm drinks. Okay, this is literally the best roll croissant I ever had in my life and my mom also agreed with it. We ended up tried both fillings flavors: pistachio and hazelnut available and I cannot pick a favorite, it was so so good! Drinks wise, this bar/coffee was right at the entrance/check-in of Ceasar Republic. The bar section has a bright and modern setup, it has island counters, booths, and table so you can pick anywhere you want to sit. It was a busy Saturday night during my visit and the lobby was having this fun game where people sign up for decorating Xmas tree. But the solo bartender was able to taking good care of everybody with a smile. The cocktails were yummy, not the best espresso martini that I ever had but I enjoyed it till the last drop! Good espresso martini. . Came here early morning 10am on a Sunday for a espresso martini. The martini is 19 like average pricing. . It was refreshing and tasted smooth. I would come back for a martini. Also they do have a nice bakery and coffee too which I want to try in the near future. . I heard they do use local coffee beans which I love and I am a fan of. . Service was quick and got my drink within 5 mins. The Ambiance is nice with lots of seating. Love the lighting and space and volume of the music. . Fun spot to walk to from our hotel. The coffee was good. Pastries were great. Great attempt at the khachapuri... it was probably in the oven for 4-5 mins too long but decent! Once it cooled down...got pretty hard. The second one we got was excellent. The smoked salmon bagel was perfect. read more

We've been coming to Lake Tahoe for years and usually stay at Harvey's, now Caesars Republic. It used to have a Starbucks in the lobby, but that's recently has been replaced by Cleo, a hybrid coffee and cocktail bar. With Starbucks, there was essentially no comfortable seating on the lobby level... just a few small areas near the entrance that weren't ideal for sitting and enjoying coffee or pastries. Cleo, on the other hand, offers a seating area that really works. I ordered the espresso martini and oooh I'd order that over and over again. So good! The bartender was nice and friendly. The ambiance is pretty chill since it's in the Cesars Republic Hotel. He even put my martini in a lowball glass so I can walk around and it won't splash anywhere. Anyway, so good! I recommend that drink. read more

This place just opened in July and they're still getting their bearings with Bar Menu items, but what they do have is delicious!!! We ended up using our drink offers because we have a higher level Caesars account so that's a GREAT perk. We had Grifen as our bartender and OMG he makes the drinks PERFECTLY!!! We got a few drinks from their menu and EACH one was delicious. We'll be hitting up this spot often each week. It's right in the lobby and the music is barely audible, perfect for chilling and hanging out. We had Grifen and Justin as our bartenders and they were so funny and helpful and made each cocktail with a dedication to quality and taste!!! If you get either of them you WON'T be disappointed. EDITED: Came the next morning to try out the coffee and it's pretty good as well...got the Large Shaken Espresso for $9.99 and my husband got the Latte with Coconut milk. This jewel box of a coffee bar is right inside the hotel entrance of the newly remodel(ing) Caesar's Republic -- formerly Harvey's. You just park right in valet, leave your keys with the valet fellow and it's like 20 steps in, to the left. Everybody was so sweet; I got my delicious Americano (local - DCDS) FAST, and the case was so full of pretty treats I didn't know what to pick. I chose a croissant, then later I went back for a yogurt/chia/granola cup - fresh and delicious. Prices are in line with the rest of the lake, and they said they'd have more food soon. In the meantime I'm super happy to have this bright, tasty new option here at the lake! read more

I got the pumpkin bread and a chamomile tea. I wish they had more sizes and different prices for the tea, I would have liked a smaller one. The pumpkin bread had great flavor, but was slightly dry around the edges (probably from sitting out in the open air the way they have it sitting). I didn't have any coffee or cocktails but the desserts, while expensive, are amazing!! We had 4 desserts: the raspberry mousse, strawberry danish, strawberry shortcake, and tiramisu. All were very good. I'd say the strawberry shortcake tastes average but everything else is pretty worth the price. read more
