She told me that was fine but just like what I do in my line of work her time is important . I first started going to her based solely off her name , Color me Chula, and a good reference from a friend. At each appointment she always takes the time to educate me about my choices and help me navigate my hair or skin services. She individualizes each appointment to best suit my needs at that time. BUT I can say that each appointment always feels like much more than that. It feels much more like a healing session. Now those are not the services she offers but her energy and ability to make a person feel at ease and comfortable is an amazing gift . Typically when I schedule services such as these I always feel nervous about going to a salon environment, but I have never felt that way at Color Me Chula, Hands down she gives the best facials ever. When it comes to hair she has always made me feel like she cares about my hair and it's health. As a textured hair girl it's been hard to find stylists in the past that take the time to educate me about my hair and teach me how to take better care of it. Yes we all have problems but under NO circumstance should a customer have to be verbally attacked or mistreated just because the individual struggles with problems. I'm glad Connie the original owner is back. Please support this local business. And as for John, I pray he gets it together because it appears that he can be a nice individual. I wish nothing but a prosperous year for this neighborhood hair salon.
