Most 5 stars are from people who just got their services and don't know much about it. I too, was a 5 star once, because my subwoofer install worked. Then 6 months later the fuse blew. They repaired it, and when I asked why, he told me I "overplayed it". Is that not what it's supposed to do? Play music loud? Not only that, the connections to the amp were poor. Cut, stick it in, then screw poor. No crimps not even proper connection- they were ready to fall out upon inspecting amp 6 months later. The ground to the chassis from the amp was the classic one screw on top of the ground screw, no sanded paint nothing. After they replaced the fuse and sent me on my way, my truck shuts off while I'm driving (computer died). I'm experiencing voltage drop now because they installed something poorly. I now have to take it to another shop and have them fix it. The price is intriguing at first- and I fortunately got along with the guy, but you can actually save your money by going to a quality shop. I have no idea how much more I'm gonna have to pay to get their mess cleaned up. Not to mention that voltage drop can damage other components and easily send your repair into the thousands. I can't recommend this guy- and if I could go back in time I'd go with another shop and just pay 3-4 hundred more, because I'm gonna have to pay that anyway to get it fixed. Also to call Craig on his personal cellphone and he would take care of me. Let me tell you his reputation proceeds him, not only was he friendly he told me to bring it in the same day. I trekked the 50 miles to Magnolia, and it was worth it. I met Scott, and he worked me into the schedule Not only did Scott, fix my waste water tank (which was not welded on by the original builder) they explained to me what they were doing, gave me a realistic assessment if it could be done, made and installed a splash guard same day, hung some shelving and gave me a discount on my first visit!!! They understand food truck life and they care about getting you up and running. That is stellar customer service and I will gladly make the hike for my trailer needs going forward. The Ford technician…read moreinformed me that I should replace both front and rear brakes pads due to wear, not immediately, but soon. I called for an appointment at Byrd and brought my truck in this morning. I ask for a front and rear brake job, to rotate my tires and perform an all wheel alignment and to check the rear tire for a slow leak. These folks are true professionals. They informed me that I had 40% and 60% of my front and rear brakes pads remaining, (the truck has 82K mikes on it) and therefore I did not need brakes at this time. They rotated the tires and put the truck on the alignment machine. They told me no alignment adjustment was required. I expected to pay for the hours of work that was done to check my vehicle. I got the bill and was surprised that $0.00 amount was due. I actually challenged Tim and said i needed to pay something. He said no all they had done was a complimentary inspection. I appreciate honesty. when they could have followed my directions and replaced all the brakes and on top of that charged me for an alignment. Wow ...they are some honest folks. Also order some smaller wheel rims and some bigger, fatter tires that will now fit. You deserve a much better ride from your Ford. And then let Dana guide you through the procurement process and install the kit. She has a great shop just 30 minutes north of downtown that does all kinds of vehicle performance work. Complete with lift machines that will handle these 5 ton trucks. They even bring your new lifted truck over to the wheels and tire shop and bring it back for final tuning and alignment check.
