Took my car in yesterday to get a price quote on having the rear window tint replaced on my 2017 Toyota Camry. Leon greeted me and asked me what I would like done. I told him I would like to get the rear window tint replaced. He then went outside to take a look at my rear window. He even took the time to explain the process. We then proceeded inside and he gave me a price of $189 + tax and I proceeded to make an appointment for today at 9am. Took my car in at 9am and Jorge greeted me and checked me in. The estimated time to completion was 2-3 hrs, but I waited an extra hour before calling. I called and Jorge told me my car was ready to be picked up. Before entering the shop, I had checked the tint on my car. It was perfect. No major bubbles and everything about the tint looks great. Went inside and paid, ending a very good experience. I bought a classic benz to this place, they said they could install my stereo and they knew this car, and that they had been working on car stereos for 20 years. Also that it was a "complex" job that other shops wouldn't do ( when it only took them 25 minutes, but $180 for labor, (because it was so complex). The back speakers wouldn't work after they installed the stereo and they said they were probably bad speakers. I replaced the speakers and they still didn't work. I brought the benz to a master benz mechanic for repairs and mentioned the speakers not working and he checked their installation of the wiring for the stereo and said they wired it wrong and didn't wire the back speakers. He wired it correctly and the back speakers worked. read more

I bought LED headlights from my car a while back and unfortunately when I went home to install them, they didn't work. I checked the polarity and even tried the bulbs on my wife's car and they still didn't work. I went back to exchange them or get a refund and they didn't allow any of those options. I was told that I installed them wrong. I explained that it wasn't my first time installing simple LED headlights and that I was sure they didn't work. Regardless, there was nothing they can do to help me. I ended up ordering another set of LED headlights from Amazon and when they arrived, they worked instantly. We want to support our local businesses as much as we can but when the customer service is so bad, what can you do? It just caught me off-guard that they don't support refunds or exchanges on such items. read more

Came here to get two 10" kicker comp vr's installed with a nice amp and these guys were extremely friendly and helpful over the phone before coming in. I truly know the technician(s) treated my G37 as if it was their own as everything was put back together flush and the system bangs really good. I was so satisfied my girlfriend brought her bronco sport in for a system install. Her installation was clean and timely, but there was a connection left disconnected that we could not find and caused a dash light. I was pretty aggravated as it was airbag related and I was concerned for her safety. Even through my complaints, the staff was very friendly and helpful. When we brought it back the technician was very helpful and resolved our issue fast. I would recommend this place as they stand out from any other speaker shop! read more

Went to get my tint done on a bmw. The first job came out terrible spots and tiny bubbles on all windows. They had me wait 15 days to redo the job after being told come back in 3 if they don't go away. The excuse was because there hasn't been sun so wait longer. I get the job redone and it comes out even worse. Same bubbles on all windows with major gaps on the windows. The back window now has a glue splatter. The owner offered to refund me if I wasn't happy with the job and to let him know in a few days. I call him back the next day and he then tells me they don't do refunds but offered to take my car again to remove the tint and give me new tint to get done somewhere else. Acting like he was doing me a favor by giving me tint but still charging me for labor that wasn't completed correctly twice. He also blamed the poor tint job on the car being dusty. Which is a complete joke. Basically don't trust these people. They do not stand by their work when it is done wrong and will leave you footing the bill. read more

After doing some homework and research on where I was going to take my 1995 Camaro Z-28 to have a serious upgrade to the factory system that was still in my car, I ultimately decided to take it to A Plus Car Stereo located at 11729 Spring Cypress. Needless to say it was a great decision!! After talking to George and Leon and informing them I had a budget but still insisted on a getting a serious stereo system upgrade at the best price possible, both George and Leon made some great recommendations that I ended up very happy with. I also insisted that they make no structural changes to the integrity of the car, which they accomplished. I purchased a Kenwood KDC-BT278U Receiver, Pioneer GM-DX975 5 Channel Amplifier, Twister Vortex TVW-8 8" Subwoofer and 4 JBL Club 6520 6-1/2" Speakers. Leon fabricated a box for the subwoofer and amplifier in an obscure location in the rear of the vehicle. WOW, I'm happy with everything! From Pink Floyd to Post Malone the sound quality with this system is amazing! I rarely write reviews but I was very impressed by the service. I have an Audi A6 and blew out one of my Bose speakers. I came here looking for a more affordable option than the dealership and he offered me a different set up where I'd notice some drop in quality (I agreed given that it was so much cheaper than the dealership). The installation was quick and painless, however, after a couple of days with the new system I realized I wasn't ok with the drop off in quality and called them back up. They were attentive and offered to order Bose replacement speakers and only charge me the difference in the price of the speakers. About a week later the speakers came in, they installed them while I had breakfast next door, and I am VERY happy with the sound. They called me again a couple of days later to make sure I was happy... this type of customer service is such a rarity I felt compelled to write a review (special shout out to Milton). I had purchased a skar 12 sub kit and had them instal it they did terrible sub blew In a week. Returned to see if they could fix it or give me a deal on another sub but no all they said was you just got a bad sub and then continued to try to sell me another sub. Later after installing another sub at another shop they told me they had the sub meant to run on 2 ohms running at 4ohms and had the gain and low pass set way to high for the sub. Save your money and go somewhere else these guys don't know what they are doing. read more

We went in and got our tint done on the mrs new Audi. They were comparable in price. Installed the carbon tint in a few hours and were friendly about it. Even talked is out of the windshield tint saying we didn't need it. Other places I got prices from tried to make us spend an extra $200 for windshield tint. Thanks guys. read more

Bait and switch tactics, after researching and giving the owner a pioneer 4.5 star stereo model, he recommended something comparable (at a lower price), as the one I selected was discontinued. The so called "comparable" stereo was installed without my approval. Paid $550.00 for Bluetooth connection???? I requested an itemized print out for the install with parts, labor and was told to "come by to see me", I can try to find and produce something for you??? Typical price on line for the unit was $60.00 cheaper. Lesson learned, go with the big box company's as they will make it good and understand customer service. Had to order and install extra hardware to receive XM (antenna, mounting brackets, receiver, and power supply)....more like a downgrade then upgrade read more

Needed the tint replaced on the back window (older car), and while picking it up noticed shavings from the old tint were left in the brake light mounted on the bottom of the window. That was fine since the shop said just come back and they'll blow it out after it dries. When I got the car home, that's when I noticed all of the edges where the tint wasn't fully attached and there were uneven spots in other parts. Honestly (although irritated) I could let that slide (again, older car), but how the inside of the car was left is what got us to 1 star. The whole back deck under the window was soaked with solution and there were little shavings of the old tint they scraped off everywhere throughout the whole car. I learned the lesson for you... When trying to select a spot for your tint job, try someplace else. read more

Glad to see others had some good experiences but unfortunately I cannot say the same. This place is just another run of the mill sketchy tint shop scamming people into thinking they are getting high quality 3M Ceramic Series tint at low prices. That said, if you need tint done cheap and don't care too much about high quality work or what the tint actually is, then this is place for you. They do have some of the lowest prices around, but you get what you pay for. Their website tries to give some guidance on different types of tint from standard to ceramic, but when you get there do Not expect any window tint demos, see any product samples (that are not on some dude's car in the parking lot) or expect any help from the kids running the front counter. Do your research on exactly what tint you want and then make sure you are getting just that and not a cheap substitute. They quoted me a great price on 3M Ceramic Series window tint...or so I thought. The kid assured me that all windows would be 100% 3M Ceramic Series tint, so I went along with it. Unfortunately, I did not do my research until after the job was done and found out by going to the 3M website that real 3M Ceramic Series tint only goes down to a light transmittance value of 30. I then had my new window film tested using an Enforcer II tint meter at a local inspection shop and the fronts were 30 but the back was 20. So, they "might have" put 3M Ceramic on the front, but who knows what they put on the back since real 3M ceramic does Not go down to 20 or below. And yes, the windows were cleaned before the test, and the meter used is what is accepted by the state of Texas for vehicle safety inspections, and I was at a licensed inspection station. I also called 3M to verify their Ceramic series offerings and they confirmed 30 is the lowest, so 20 or less is definitely Not 3M Ceramic. Also the windows were Not double tinted. On top of that, there are very noticeable bubbles even after several weeks of driving and sitting the car in the hot sun to make sure the film is dry, and of course I did Not roll down the windows for the first week. When I took the car back they told me they are booked up for the next month unless I come in the middle of the week. Not to mention the owner, Leon, got an attitude when I showed him the bubbles and he blamed it on me and my car. So to Leon, if your shop cannot do a quality job, then inform the customer of what the options and risks are up front before the job, instead of leaving it up to the customer to find the mistakes later and then blaming the customer's car. Leon did offer to try and fix it, but I opted to just get the heck out of there. I did not like the aggressive attitude and this was after I found out they did not install Ceramic tint as they said. Leon made me feel so uncomfortable when I showed him the poor-quality work, that I did not feel like arguing over what light transmittance values real 3M Ceramic tint comes in. Sorry for the long story, but I feel that people need to know what they are getting for their money. This place does inferior work and is scamming people into thinking they are installing high quality 3M Ceramic tint and I cannot let this go unnoticed. 3 tips to "help" but not guarantee you are getting what any shop says you are: 1. Do your own product research first and decide what YOU want 2. If going with 3M tint, then chose a shop that is a "3M Authorized Dealer" - you can go to 3M's website to find out 3. Trust but verify - ask the shop to show you the window film as they are cutting it for your car in their own work area and verify the roll of tint by having them show you the actual 3M print mark, but keep in mind 3M also carries other low cost tint Direct from 3M's FAQ website... "ALL 3M AUTOMOTIVE TINTS HAVE PRINT MARKS. If it does not have a print mark, it is not 3M." solutions.3mphilippines... Good luck and happy Yelping! read more

I did not have a good experience here. I was charged a hefty price for very sloppy install work. After meeting with the shop owner I felt even more uncomfortable leaving my car with them. Unfortunately for me, I eventually paid another local shop to professionally re-do installation work that was done at A Plus Car Stereo. (I tried to live with what I had from A Plus Car Stereo but after a few weeks, I broke down and had to get issues addressed.) My recommendation - if you get work done here (or anywhere else) make sure you double check their work before you leave and make sure you see the exact product(s) they say they are going to be installing. And before they install, research the product and check out product reviews before agreeing to anything! I wish I had done this - a very expensive lesson learned. Good luck! read more
