Thursday at 11am upon entering I was told to wait to be spoken to about the wait time, 15min later someone talked to me saying that It would take 40min for me to be taken care of for a manicure. I asked if I could get a soak off, prior to the 40min just because I rather not sit and wait to be serviced for an hour because I have other things on my schedule and she said she rather not let me do my nails myself? I said no that's not what I'm asking-- she said that I was being rude and refused to service me. I don't know if there was a language barrier, but I feel very uncomfortable with how I was mishandled. I came here last Thursday for my first nail appointment in Hanford and LOVED it! The atmosphere/vibe, the customer service and pricing was everything I could've asked for. My guy friend came to visit from out of town and said he wanted to go & instantly knew I had to take him here for his first time when I had found it. As I said, I came here last week and had gotten a gel mani & regular pedi. For some reason the gel wasn't lasting and was starting to peel, which was disappointing since I was using the nails for a wedding this weekend. I called the salon to see if there was anything that could be done & they were kind enough to welcome me back and redo my gel manicure for no charge to fix it. If I ever want to get my nails done or someone needs a place I will 100% recommend Nok Nok! I'm also super excited for when they start doing their head spa services. read more

If you like a clean cuticle and evenly shaped/ same nail shape for all your nails don't come here. The lady also used dried up adhesives varnish which wasn't coating my nails which in turn does not allow for the gel to last. When I told her she would just look clueless. I was very polite the entire time but if I'm paying for a service I'd like it done correctly. I left so disappointed it looked like my 4 year old son did my nails. I walked in to get a pedicure as I explained to a man who greeted me at the door what I wanted he then, had me explained to another woman after explaining to her she asked if I had an appointment. Why have me explain twice if you were just going to ask me if I had an appointment. Not to mention there were 3 employees standing around ready to work. I don't recommend this place. This salon is very welcoming. It's decorated beautifully & is very large. The space is not over crowded with things. The waiting area is very inviting & relaxing. We were greeted by Linh & Tony as soon as we arrived. My friend Janis & I were there to get pedicures. Linh & Tony did an excellent job for us. The pedicure chairs were so comfortable. Our feet were placed in rose scented soaking bath. Our legs were massaged with a rose scented lotion with hot rocks used during the massage. It was absolutely wonderful. Our nails were trimmed & smoothed & polished & nail art done as requested. It was a wonderful relaxing experience. My friend had Tony give her a French manicure she was very pleased with. Linh also waxed my friend' Janis' brows & upper lip area. All services Linh & Tiny performed were above what was expected. I highly recommend both Linh & Tony. They are so nice & attentive. While we were there the owner Nok Nok came over & greeted us & said if we needed anything don't hesitate to ask. My friend Janis & I look forward to returning again for more services. I've never written a review but here it goes. I stumbled upon this nail salon when looking for a place to do my toes. When I called she was so understanding of me not wanting the full experience and didn't push or try to convince me once so ever! Nok Nok is her name and she was so amazing!!! I go in and start talking to her and let her know I want to start shaping my toes and that sadly one of my big toenails cracked and couldn't be square. She BUILT me a toenail?!? She told me they've only been open about a month. My sister got another worker who did her toes and she did the full experience and he was also so so kind! My sister said he did amazing, her feet were so smooth!! The environment was amazing and I think everyone should stop by and give them a chance! They also offer head spa and waxing options. I heard this place had just opened and decided to take my daughter, who uses a wheelchair, for her first pedicure. I called ahead and booked a 7:30 PM appointment. They welcomed and accommodated my daughter with no hesitation or questions--which meant so much to us, especially since we often face discrimination elsewhere. It's a small, family-owned business, and our experience was a perfect 10/10. We'll absolutely be returning and giving them our continued support. I love this nail salon! I've been coming here since they opened (3-4 times now) and every time I have left happy and satisfied with my nails. I'm very picky about how I like my nails done (I get a gel mani & gel pedi) and am a loyal customer once I've found a place. I used to go to a different salon before Nok Nok opened and almost every time I went there I got cut when getting my cuticles done and felt rushed to get in and out. At Nok Nok's I have never been cut during my cuticles and every tech works with intentionality & care.
