It's honestly my favorite margarita spot in all of Houston. However, today I came across a staff member that I am not fond of. She's an overweight, shabby looking white woman with sunburnt cheeks. Her hair was not done and she had red acrylic nails with a few missing. She looks like she's probably in her 50s. Her energy was very dull/lackluster. I told her very CLEARLY that I would like a small, raspberry margarita. I paid for my drink, and then she followed up with asking me " You said you wanted watermelon flavor, right?". How the hell do you mix up the word "watermelon" with "raspberry"??? I would have understood if she said "strawberry"... but I feel like she was trying to be funny and micro aggressive since I am African American. They also explicitly promised they would check on us throughout the event to see if we needed refills on water or drinks. They completely ghosted. We never saw them, and our guests were left without service. It has been three weeks since the event, and we haven't received a single follow-up call or text to ask how things went.
