I am from Idaho and went here for the first time at the recommendation of my brother, who lives in the Houston area. I can't say I have ever had better Mexican cuisine in my life. This place is absolutely amazing! We started of with the Caldo Luchador soup. This soup was the absolute best soup I have had in the last decade. For lunch I had the Sonoran burrito and ordered a side of Mole. When I took my first bite It was like I was transported to Mexico City and I was eating at one of the cities culinary masterpieces. The Mole is imported directly from Mexico and is by far the best I have ever had. The service was spectacular. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone with a love of real Mexican food. I've ordered from here through DoorDash about four times now, mainly for their chicken pozole, and it has been consistently delicious. It's the closest place to me that serves pozole, and I'm glad I found it. The flavors are amazing, the broth is rich, and the ingredients always taste fresh. Friday night found us out and about looking for a place to eat. We ended up at this cute little spot. I had been here before and loved the fact that their food is so good and fresh. We were seated right away. It's a small place but perfect for a nice Friday night. We got margaritas and they were delicious and strong. I had the shrimp pepper tacos with corn tortilla. Their green salsa is my favorite. My husband had the chicken and beef tacos with an extra side of chicken that came with extra tortillas. Very filling and the meat was so seasoned and tender. Tonight we went to Luchador for a quick dinner date. The place was fairly busy, however we were seated and waited in immediately. Our waiter was very attentive. We started with drink the El frutas. My fiancee got the mango and i got the pineapple and made it spicy. Both drinks were really good and balanced. Next, we started off food with the mini tostadas steak. The flavor in the meat was phenomenal. A great few bites per tostada. It started the meal off great. My fiancee got the camarones culichis and I took the waiters recommendation and ordered the tampiquena with the enchiladas suizas as the enchilada selection for it. Both dishes, absolutely phenomenal and so flavorful. The green sauce for the camarones was delightful. The steak that came with the tampiquena was juicy and well seasonsed. The enchiladas suiza was also very good and the chile rilleno what a filling and meaningful addition to the plate. Between the service the drinks and amount/flavor of the food. OMG this place is so worth the drive! First the owner and staff are so friendly as they sat and explained how they got started and how each of the menu items were created as well as prepared. The food was out of this world. My wife got the Trompo tacos and she wanted to lick the plate when she was done because they were so juicy and flavorful. I went way out of my comfort zone and order the Enmoladas, mole enchiladas, WOW is all I can say. The mole had a great taste that had just a hint of heat which brought out the chocolate flavor perfectly. I will be back. Tacos at first seemed pricey but as soon as they got to our table we realized why the extra few dollars. MEAT PORTION WAS HEFTY. Pastor was juicy and flavorful. Enchiladas Suizas were tangy and spicy. POZOLE is the best in town hands down, no question about it. Truly authentic. Micheladas were just like the ones we had in Mexico. It's actually Sonoran food, which is a rustic, hearty, and "no-frills" cuisine from Northwestern Mexico and Southern Arizona, defined by ranching culture, flour tortillas, and grilled meat. We started the meal with complimentary tostadas and charro beans, which were both amazing. The tostadas are thick and golden brown, and the beans were flavorful and smoky. I ordered beef flautas-they're actually listed as an appetizer-and a side of rice. The flautas are served three to an order (you can choose between beef and chicken) and nestled in a bowl of refreshing tomatillo salsa and refried beans. My husband got tacos, ribeye, and although he thought they needed a little salt, he was pleased as well. He just added a little of my salsa, and was good to go. First timers here and we had a great experience here today! The charro beans salsa and chips they served is so delicious. We loved all of our dishes. We had beef minichimis, enchiladas suizas and rajas con calabacitas con crema. The service was helpful in letting us know we can level my enchiladas to be spicy or not spicy. I've been here several times at this point and have tried tacos, chunky guacamole, chimichangas , queso fundido, pozole, menudo, quesadillas, and more. EVERYTHING has the homemade taste - and it's all delicious. The staff are very friendly - and they remember you. First time back here since the Yelp elite event about a year or so ago. The service was phenomenal, every employee has a great enthusiastic, positive attitude and it's infectious. I really enjoyed the interactions which paired perfectly with how beautiful the restaurant is designed inside. It was very clean all around, now the food. I had 3 beef steak tacos and my wife had the tostadas, honestly we were really hungry. So it did the job, but I wasn't as impressed with the food as I had been previously. My rice and beans were cold when they hit the table. The steak didn't have much flavor in my tacos, I had to add salsa to give it some depth. Overall, I would definitely give them another chance because they are great people and they have a vast menu. Plus it's pretty affordable, just goes to show you attitude, service and appearance largely effect guest experience. They earned themselves some grace, we'll be back read more

The customer service was amazing and so was the food! I had the ribeye tacos and the meat was PERFECTLY cooked. Very tender and seasoned. The restaurant was nice, clean and spacious. The prices were very reasonable and so were the drinks! My tacos were 2 for $13 or you can get 3 for $18. You can tell the tortilla chips and tortillas are homemade. Very delicious.
