This is a two part review. Place a pick up order for a friend to collect and delivered. The food was great, but they swap my beef taco with my dish for a chicken one. I called back and after a few back and forth the manager prepared a beef taco and delivered it to my home, along with an extra taco and a side of queso. This is 5stars service. The beef was a a little fatty. Today visit was a to go service. While waiting for the food to be complete. I visit the bar for a strawberry peach margarita since it was happy hour. My food to go was good the two flaws I found was the chicken I always swap my tortilla soup for was way less than what I usually get and pay an additional $2 for. The shrimp had shells on it in some parts. And the tortillas on the side was not included in this meal. Besides that most was well. El Surego with a side of chicken, and rice and chicken tacos meal is $44. Which usually I pay $34 for. read more

Their free chips and salsa are sooooo good you don't even need to order an appetizer (bonus points if you mix both salsas at the same time for the perfect amount of spicy)! Their margaritas are also good and strong but without tasting like alcohol which was great, I also tried their tamales which I was surprised by because it comes with sauce and cheese on top and I had never tasted it like that but it was still good. The only reason they lose a star is because I tried their enchiladas and idk if I'm just not an enchilada person or if it was bad but it was too saucy to be that tasteless. For ambiance the place can be loud if you're sat next to a large party and they also have mariachis going around offering to sing songs to your table which was pretty cool. I hadn't been to Los Cucos in years. It was very good I had the Seafood Al Vapor and it was perfect. Our waiter cut the foil packet open at the table and the steam whooshed out, it was a little event like ordering fajitas. The fish was flaky and firm, the shrimp wasn't chewy. Dined in with a group of friends to celebrate one of my friends' birthday. For a week day, it was moderately packed, but they had plenty of parking, and our server was very accommodating for our large party. The only thing I wished oir server did was notify us that happy hr was ending. Some of us arrived prior to 6 pm and unfortunately didn't get to partake. I ordered the taquitos, it was light, cooked well, and the green salsa they were with it had the right amount of heat. Drinks Grand Anejo : myself, and 1 other person ordered this. It was flavorful slightly on the sweet side. I didn't really taste the liquor, so I'm not sure I'd order it again. And it had a lot of ice House margarita : Several people ordered a variety of these at the table. I do like that you can mix flavors. If you're not careful, these will sneak up on you. All the flavors were delicious Food From the taquitos, enchiladas, skillet, and appetizer, everything was seasoned well and and it came out hot and fresh. No complaints from our group. The Mariachi Loco is perfect for anyone who just cant pick a protein but isn't ready to commit to a grill special. The food was good but they want to seat you in the back if you are not blonde with blue eyes. They tell the young girls in the front desk to "only" put the folks with blonde hair and blue eyes in the front and the dark hair, brown skin folks in the back. If you see an unexpected charge for "Variable %" at 20%, then you should ask what that is for because this receipt says at the bottom that "Tip Not Included." I paid and grabbed the bag that she had in front of me and left when I got home unloaded all the food on the table and then got a phone call saying I got the wrong order so I had to drive back to pick up my now cold order I asked what they were gonna do with the food that was not my order and she says that they were gonna give it back to the customer and I asked why would you give back an order that I've already taken home and unloaded and you still gonna give it to another customer I asked if I could have it for my troubles you are going to throw it away she told me no so I asked to talk to manager I tell him I have be coming here for over 25 years and I don't understand why you want let me have it for my hassle of having to come back to get the correct order, he then tells me he gives it to employees well I hope they enjoy it because I will never go back to eat there again since my loyal patronage of 25 years mean crap to them. read more

This specific location is MASSIVE. With 2 party rooms and YES each side has its OWN restroom! Which is an absolute plus given that they get super busy. There's also a kids playground outside. We had 120 guests, yet the staff and the manager, Juan, were on top of everything and they served every guest. They made sure everybody had food and drinks, they were on top of everything. Not sure how this location doesn't have at least a 4 star on Yelp...we've been coming here for the past 10 years and there is not once we didn't think this place is amazing! The salsa is fantastic, portion size is large, every dish is super flavorful and I believe the meat marinate is awesome which is what makes the dishes flavorful. Service is fast despite always being pretty crowded. We never had to wait more than 15 minutes for a table. The place is huge with large parties all the time and a bunch of staffs but it always smells clean and we've never felt crowded. So I'm sitting at my favorite mexican with my best girl, and I guess covid ruined this place too. The menu is very limited. Of course that is true for alot of places. While perusing the menu she tell me the dont have flautas. I told her no they are just calling them taquitos. Her reply was no taquitos are tiny. So to prove her wrong I ordered them.
