These puppies are delicious on a hot day. I paid the extra 50 cents for the Dreamsicle, and my babe had one of her two sugar-free choices: pina colada. We both loved the texture of the ice more than a regular sno-cone, and we loved our flavors. So refreshing! You can park for free in the lot BEHIND Jefferson Tower. Don't even bother with the metered parking on Jefferson Street right now because construction is ongoing.

Really appreciate the customer service and being open right now for us to enjoy a traditional summer treat. We were Aunt Stelle's customers until they closed and this place is a solid alternative. Love the classic flavors!

This is a small snow cone shop on busy Jefferson Ave. It's just a window front currently due to Covid, but it works. I ordered a clear cherry mixed with lemon lime. Flavor was okay, and it was a cool relief to the heat. They do have ice cream and creamsicle-style flavors for those wanting a bit more richness. The owner was really nice and I'll be back again to check out more flavors! read more

We discovered this gem about two years ago, and I am so glad we did! Our first time visiting, I was pregnant and found out about NOLA Snoballs due to a pregnancy craving. Lol! I ordered a blue coconut/rootbeer combo, and my husband ordered cherry and green apple. Both of them were nice, juicy, and flavorful. The ice is also very soft too (as it should be! Lol!) I've also tried the cream as well and it's perfect for those with a sweet tooth. The employees are also always very kind and sweet too. If you're ever in the area, or down for the drive you should definitely check them out. read more

Just the right amount of syrup, right texture of ice. If you're from New Orleans or surrounding areas or you just fell in love with eating there, this place does well. The only thing sweeter than their sno cones are the owners. They've converted their small indoor space into a walk up for your safety (and theirs). Cool off and get you a couple of sno cones, and wear your damn mask! A+ read more

I ordered the dreamsicle and I had in my mind a certain expectation. But when I got it... it didn't really have the appearance of snow. It wasn't creamy either and I could taste the flavor of and orange. It wasn't overly sweet which is good but I wanted more cream and orange. Hidden gem on Jefferson, perfect for dealing with summertime weather. Tried the Strawberry Cheesecake topped with condensed milk, with actual pieces of Cheesecake in it. . The ice is snow-like, and really fine versus the ice chips at other places. Definitely worth the visit. read more

Cliff Dwellers! Hear Ye! Hear Ye! We've been blessed with NOLA Snowballs on Jefferson. I had a hankerin for a snow cone on the hot July afternoon and decided to check them out. We couldn't have been happier! Make sure you add the sweetened condensed milk (a NOLA tradition) to whichever selection you make. It elevates the standard snow cone into a league of its own. We both (the spouse and I) had the tigers blood w/ the sweetened condensed milk. Next time it will be the blue coconut. Go give them a try. Open Tues - Sunday 2-9 PM. read more

Such a great place for kiddos especially! Kiddie eye level glass cases on both sides of the small shop full of a huge aprieta of PEZ dispensers! This is a special visual way to entertain those of us waiting our turn for the hand made to order snoball. No way to mention names of flavors because there are so many. Kids chose combos of flavors, hubby chose to have a root ear instead of a snoball, and I picked a "natural" flavored raspberry snoball - still has sugar but just the right amount for me. It was sour/sweet/tangy/snowy/cool you down deliciousness on the hot summer Saturday of 100+ temps (now why do we live here again?). Anyway, a fun treat on Jefferson Blvd. in Oak Cliff. We love this place! The owner is behind the counter and she is super nice, very friendly and enjoys the kids' enthusiasm. Unusual flavors like "Silver fox" are so enticing but if trying new things is not your game, many of the oldies but goodies are available as well. I like ice-cream at the bottom of my snoball, called a "knockout", yum. She always puts just the right amount of syrup, not too much but just enough. Fun place. New Orleans inspired snoballs with finely shaved ice, cream flavors (including chocolate) and toppings! Oh, and these are made by a true New Orleanian who grew up eating snoballs. And if you are looking for a healthy dessert, have no fear! We have natural and sugar free flavors to choose from! We also have Aunt Sally's pralines and Blue Bell Ice Cream cups. We use only environmentally friendly paper cups and paper straws by request. Our Pez Dispensers just arrived, come by and check them out!

Established in 2016.

We started as a pop-up at the Texas Discovery Gardens during the State Fair of Texas. Several pop-ups later we found our current space at 345 West Jefferson in Oak Cliff.

Meet the Business Owner: Maureen E.

Maureen grew up in New Orleans eating snoballs on a regular basis. Being one of 4 children, a trip to the snoball stand was an affordable treat and a fun family adventure. She has lived in Dallas for 25 years now and has always wanted to own a snoball stand so Dallas families could also enjoy affordable family adventures. The store on Jefferson is home to a part of Maureen's large pez dispenser collection.

Everything is black-and-white. The chairs are wooden. It was pretty quiet going on a weekday in the afternoon. In terms of cleanliness, due to the aesthetic, it's easy to see some blemishes in the place and spots that need some cleaning. SERVICE Service is pretty nice. They are quick to get the drinks out.

This is the perfect stop for shaved ice during a hot summer day. I've only had the Orchid Vanilla because it's so good and I'm addicted but my friend has tried the Banana as well and he loved it. The lady is also super nice and sweet! Quick tip: if you like them with condensed milk ask her to add it in the middle and on top she will gladly do it and it makes all the difference, it's much better! read more
