I'll start with the only good qualities of my experience- the decor is cool, the items for sale are interesting, the milkshake tasted good. The rest of my experience was all around awful, so bad, almost unbelievable. To start the menu illustration is really ugly generative ai, for this reason I would not give this business any money, but my boyfriend ordered one singular milkshake. Small businesses should understand more than anyone how important it is to support real people vs computers. We waited to order probably 10-15 minutes because a large party was in front of us(6-8 people). The manager/owner, I assume, was very personable which was nice but I think the running a business aspect is severely lacking. He has no sense of urgency to get everyone's order in and food out. Additionally he seemed incredibly scatter brained, like he could not handle this amount of people. By the time it was our turn to order there was a giant line behind us. Another down side was the price, it was $12.50 for one milkshake. I wouldn't have minded the cost so much if I didn't have to wait 1 hour for it... yes, that's correct, we spent 57 minutes at this establishment in total(yes we checked the exact amount of time). We didn't stay that long because we wanted to, it took about 40 minutes from the time we ordered to get the milkshake in hand. Another part that baffles me is we weren't warned that this was going to take forever. We would have gone home, I had work early this morning and we didn't get to leave the establishment until 10pm....as soon as we received the shake. We were only offered water or coffee for the ridiculous wait. Finally, the parking lot is horrendous. I had to get out to make sure we didn't hit anyone doing a 6 point turn because there's no lines in the lot so people just parked however they wanted to. Parking was much easier but also wasn't a smooth experience, when we came out someone had parked basically 5 feet behind us.. Anyways, there's no reason to be waiting one hour for a single milkshake, absolutely unacceptable. read more

Spelled Milk has been on my "Must Try" list for a long time. Not a place I'd pick for myself, but a place I knew my kids would LOVE. What a great surprise. Thankfully on a Friday afternoon it wasn't too busy as we were able to park in one of two spots out front - I'm not sure where else you'd park if you don't get one of these two spots as I didn't really notice a lot or other parking around. It's a bit brighter and more cheerful inside than the outside appears, but the lighting still gives it an "after hours club" feel. Immediately the kids noticed the wall of cereal and were blown away these were just SOME of their choices. The woman working, maybe owner? was so kind and let them know they could try whatever they wanted. We limited our samples to two each and immediatly knew what we wanted. While you can also get ice cream, milkshakes, or get creative with a cereal + ice cream combo, we just stuck to plain ol' cereal with milk. Between the three of us we had (2) Lucky Charms S'mores and (1) Fruit Loops Marshmallows. Since we don't do any sugar cereal, EVER, this was a huge treat and a really fun experience to share with the kids. It was also nice to be able to try something fun and different that isn't your typical grocery store staple. We enjoyed it so much we took an order "to go" for them to surprise dad with later that night. This place is an absolute gem. We're in town from LA visiting and came across Micheal and his store. Selection is other worldly, the ice cream is made daily and there are so many cakes, treats, poptarts you can add to your order. We went with the vanilla home made ice cream with cinnamon pebbles and home made whipped cream 10/10 combo. The lucky charms ice cream with cookie dough was very rich and flavorful as well. The service was amazing. Micheal gave our two sons stickers, offered us samples of the Mexican vanilla and cinnamon ice cream which were both very very good. The set up and vibe is very cool and laid back. Totally a kick it spot or date night spot for some sweets. Got to hear some cool cereal insight and even though we're only in town a week we'll prob come back for one more scoop before we head home. With over 100 cereals to choose from, the choice was tough for sure, but we landed in the Maple Bacon, Choco Captain, Spelled Milk, and the Berry Milkshake (might have some of those names wrong).
