The beignets were made fresh to order and took about 7 minutes to come out. They were hot, soft, and very fluffy, almost more similar to a donut than a traditional beignet. Since most of my beignet experience comes from New Orleans, Louisiana, I definitely had a different texture in mind going in. I personally wish they had been a little crispier, especially around the edges, but they were still decent and enjoyable. Overall, I had a good experience. I treated myself to butter pecan ice cream with Fruity Pebbles, and it honestly reminded me that even as an adult, it's okay to enjoy the little things that bring happiness.
