In November 2022 we lost my brother suddenly. It was an incredibly painful time for my family and it was incredibly challenging planning a New Orleans funeral from Atlanta. We reached out to this provider to cater the post-funeral gathering of grieving family members. She informed us that she was available and as such we booked her services by paying for her services in full. A week prior, in a tragic turn of events, my uncle also passed away. Our family made the difficult choice to hold a joint funeral to honor both my brother in law and uncle on the same day. We reached out to this provider to adjust the date, which she was fine with. Due to a number of competing priorities (i.e. coffin selection, drafting funeral programs, selecting flowers, coordinating travel for out of town family members) we forgot to provide the exact funeral start time. Instead of inquiring regarding the time that she should deliver the food this provider reached out 2 days before the funeral (on a Sunday) to inform us that she was canceling as a time had not been provided although she had been compensated already and was well aware of the date. We were absolutely shocked. Our family had 1 business day to scramble, the week of Thanksgiving (!!), to find a replacement caterer during a time when we wanted to be focused on grieving. This provider also did not proactively refund our money. When asked she agreed to refund 50% due to the late cancellation (which she initiated!!). This was not a policy that was documented in any contract we signed, and such we were able to successfully file a dispute with our card company to obtain the rest of our funds. This provider is unprofessional, dishonest, and worst of all incredibly heartless. If "0" stars was an option it would be what she deserves. DO NOT BOOK HER read more

I had Nola's Finest cater a party at my house in the Quarter - the food was amazing! Had people visiting from all over the world and they raved about the food - one person commented that they had eaten at a number of high end restaurants and the food at my party was the best that they had the whole trip. I really cannot say enough good things about Melody and her husband - I will definitely use them for future events! BTW - the Legacy Rolls were outstanding and the bread pudding would rival any other in town!!!! read more

Do not...I mean, DO NOT ever use this caterer. The customer service was non existent and the caterer doesn't know the difference between rotini pasta and linguine! Melody spent more time emailing me about paying the invoice in advance than spending time buying quality products and confirming she was available to deliver at the time requested. Here are the highlights or rather low lights of the awful service we received: I ordered a tray of oyster poboys and a tray of shrimp poboys. We got a loaf of each all in ONE tray. I ordered bbq shrimp linguine. We received a shrimp pasta with the smallest shrimp I have ever seen, no sauce and the pasta used was rotini...not linguine! I ordered a full pan of chicken wings...we got a full pan of fried batter. Still trying to find the meat. I ordered boudin...and I guess she doesn't know what it is....or how to serve it. What we got looked like Alpo. I asked for evening delivery between 6 and 7pm. Melody contacted me THE DAY OF to say she had to drop off the food by 3 and if no one was home, she would leave it on the front porch. Who does that??? Someone with no class, poor culinary skills and obviously no desire to remain in the catering business. I am spreading the word....do not EVER use this service!!! You will be disappointed! We had Nolasfinest cater out office christmas party this past Friday and everything was amazing! The seafood stuffed bell peppers were the first to go and everything had a home cooked taste. The food arrived in a hot box and was ready to eat. She even gave us an oven mitt! Definitely will recommend for any size event and you won't be disappointed. read more
