For $100 I got a box with the following items: - 1 bottle of bloody Mary mix - 1 bottle of steak sauce - 1 medium size all-purpose seasoning container - 1 baked potato - 1 lb of fillets - 1 lb of ground beef If this is a butcher subscription service, isn't it fair to expect a reasonable quantity of beef, pork or poultry for the price? At my request they deboned the meat and use no saws and cutting of steaks or bones so there is zero bone fragments or marrow on my elk. They trim the sinew perfectly and what I ended up with is even better that I have had done it myself. Those of us who know the flavor of the game is 90% related to how it's handled from the moment the harvest takes place until the minute it hits your dinner plate . Walkers butcher block (previously known as the Lebanon locker) has my complete trust now and actually saved my ass when I had to travel unexpectedly on the day I was going to process my own meat. They took in my beautiful idaho harvest (6x6) at the last minute and turned it around immediately. The patio has a fake cow with rope to ride. The shop offers a large selection of frozen beef. A side room has other local food items. We have purchased frozen burgers both times and they are SO good. I got chicken, brown rice, and the seared cabbage with teriyaki sauce. All our food pros came with no sauce, and mine only have a small sliver of cabbage with a few small strips of carrots. I mostly have rice with a portion size of chicken(the proton is great on that). The chicken is dry, the rice in all our bowls are under cooked, and we're just disappointed for paying just under $200. I'd also like to add for food prep all of my food prep that are the same items ordered for each meal do not weigh the same. I have one that weighs 420 g another one that is 402 g and another one that is 370 g .
