The store is on the smaller side, but that seems to be on par for those I've seen in this state (Tacoma is a bigger, but their schedule is more limited). Honestly, no big deal. GW has a million products, so I realize a shop this size can't stock everything. However, every time the manager tries to talk me out of buying what I want and into something else. He just won't take no for an answer, and keeps arguing with me. He is like a terrible used car salesman who won't stop arguing and trying to push you into things you don't want. I didn't want to overreact with a negative review after my first visit, but this same thing has happened to me upon 3 separate visits. I also took two friends with me this last time, and upon leaving the store they both said "WTF is up with that guy??" So at this point I feel the review is warranted.

What a cool place!…read more We visited a friend in Edmonds area for my husbands birthday. It was a great escape for the desert heat! That being said, we were looking for something fun to do one afternoon and being big board game lovers, Around the Table Game Pub seemed like such a perfect find! They do take reservations online to reserve tables in two hour increments for game sessions, but also have ample walk in seating outside and inside. In addition to being a board game pub they offered lots of varies games for sale or other world building accessories. They seemed to have used and new games available. Their menu featured plentiful of coffee options, beers, kombucha, a few menu items such as corn dogs and waffles fries and ice cream. They even had Blue Moon?! I felt like i was back in Michigan! One of the employees joked how they got various unique flavors in that sometimes were location specific, so definitely a fun surprise. We ended up visiting them twice, one for a mid morning game session and one for an afternoon. It was such a great way to past the time and they seem to have a great presence in the community. They have various events going on throughout the month. If you are interested in board games or want to get started, they seem like a great spot to start! I also loved that they did not have a cover charge, such as some game shops have, unless you order, which I do understand and I am sure helps with use and overhead of wear and tear on the games, but they seem to be a community gem and get ample support. The place is brightly lit and the layout is nice and organized with plenty of space to move. They also label any new products which I appreciate. The prices seem pretty fair too. The employees here are friendly and helpful with all the customers. We didn't get anything this time around as we were going to the store next door, but we'll definitely keep this on the radar when we're in the area.

I think there was weekly that just ended or something else as it was a bunch of younger boys with their parents grabbing boosters and other TCG accessories. The staff members here were patient and conversing with the parents and child which I always appreciate when the kiddos are included. They were also friendly and helpful to not only us but the other customers too. They had quite a bit of different products to browse from TCGs, comics, board games and much more. The prices were fair too! They have a refrigerator with lots of different types of beverages. I also asked if they were dog friendly, which they are as long as they don't make a mess so I brought in our two fur babies who got some pets from the staff. The store is organized well as well as plenty of room to walk around. They had a few long tables and chairs for weeklies or just casual hang outs as there were some players just opening One Piece packs.
