Buyer beware! Had NoMow install a lot of turf and a putting green in my backyard. After just a few months there were weeds growing up through the turf. When I called to ask what could be done I was told many different stories. First, I was told that they dont put down weed barrier because future owners could have pets. This makes no sense. The owner finally came out and told me the weeds were merely growing on top of the turf. Not true when you can pull up dirt from the weeds. Then he said it is common for the weeds and just spray them with weed killer once and it will be good for seasons to come. Wrong. I have gone through 5 large bottles of weed killer, having to spray every 3 months or so for the last 2+ years. Don't use this company as they dont seem to stand by their product or installation and your "low maintenance" yard will be anything but. The reason I decided to contact them is because I noticed they were in business longer than all the other turf companies. Sierra was very professional and easy to work with. I first contacted Patrick Bray back in 2005 for a small patch of grass at our house in the OC. Fast forward 17 years... we moved to the IE and I called Patrick again as I wanted to replace my grass in my backyard with synthetic turf. I would not waist my time with this company. The manager Sierra, gives a good presentation until you decide to move forward. Her team doesn't show up the date scheduled and they do not even call to apologize, instead she makes up stories to cover for her lack of care for customer. When I spoke on the phone with Sierra after the workers didn't show up, she kept saying if you want to cancel, I understand!! meaning I really do not want to do the job. Sierra and the team at No Mow Turf were absolutely fantastic. They were so quick to come out and get a proposal. They understood from our initial phone call what we wanted and put the proposal together without even meeting us (due to our work schedules). They patiently waited while we price shopped and then got us on the schedule quickly when we were ready to proceed. Our project took a lot of work--it included pulling up landscaping, demoing concrete stepping pads, leveling out a 700 square foot area that was in terrible shape, and prepping it for the turf. The crew moved quickly and methodically, but didn't cut any corners. Although they hoped to finish in one day, they knew they wouldn't get it done perfectly so they took two days. We were blown away by the quality of the job, including turf installed with precision even behind our two AC units.
