He provided us with recommendations of how to finish the edge and additional ideas on what would make our yard look the. Our home sits up on a hill with a long driveway so they went the extra mile to drop materials at the bottom of the hill and transport them up our driveway on a lighter trailer to prevent damage to our driveway. I was finishing up a major backyard project, was beyond my timeline, and the turf company I had previously contracted showed up and than said they couldn't do the job because of the level of difficulty and they didn't have the required equipment. He went to the property, FaceTimed me and we were able to cover all the nuances of the job. He told me a quote that was reasonable, worked with me on the price and honored my military status (thank you), and gave me an accurate timeline for the job despite the fact that it was thanksgiving weekend. The day he showed up to work, we had a wind storm so bad, that the other contractors went home. But not these guys!! They worked hard through sand and dust grading the plane to stay on schedule. They even put all my patio furniture in the garage for me so they would not fly away. They would clean everything every night and keep it all very organized at the end of day. During excavation, Chase noticed gofers tracks and recommended a mesh. He did a great job installing that as well. When they completed the job, they even scrubbed my concrete driveway and refreshed a small turf area that I previously had at no extra cost. The final job came out beautiful. We made the mistake of going through a family friend that said they could install Artificial Grass. We bought good quality turf and our family friends started the install. The end product was a nightmare. The seam was so visible, the turf had compression marks in the beginning that we were told would go away in about a month with sun. When I called company we purchased it from we were told there was nothing that could be done, so we had expensive turf with compression lines and a horrible install. The preparation was wrong and the leveling was so off, the turf laid down on the compression marks, it was a nightmare. We didn't even know what compression marks were until Scotts came out and explained that it was a defect in the turf. (See where their knowledge is gold?) I called around and after 3 different businesses found Scott's Artificial Grass who sent someone out right away to look and see what could be done to fix the problem. Flash forward a few weeks because they were busy (the good ones always are) and they not only helped us get the turf replaced that had the compression marks but the installation looks absolutely perfect. Everything was flattened, they added more road base where needed, there is no noticeable seam, it's just absolutely flawless. So, we had them do the backyard also which is gorgeous. Now, we have very fancy yards in our very normal house lol. The things we learned is turf is expensive no matter what way you do it. Doing it yourself is a ton of work and your going to mess something up. Something's going to get screwed up. Go with someone that knows what they are doing. You'll spend a little bit more money but you will be so happy with the need product. Their communication was amazing ! Available around the clock to ensure that our yard was fixed and that we were happy. They cared and it shows. I would recommend them over and over.
