During the off-season, they offer curated wine flights on Fridays, which is a great perk for locals. The selections are chosen specifically based on your tastes, which worked perfectly for our group since we all enjoy very different styles of wine. Each flight felt thoughtfully put together and matched our preferences really well. It was also fun trying everyone else's and discovering new favorites. They also sell bottles of the wines, which is a nice bonus if you find something you love. The food menu isn't huge, but everything we've tried has been excellent. They rotate certain items weekly, including the chef sampler, which I've ordered both times I've visited. The first time had more of an Asian influence, with gochujang wings and crab rangoon egg rolls. The second visit featured a mix of flavors, including pickled Calabrian chili with goat cheese, escargot, and cabbage spring rolls. It's been a few days and we're still talking about how good it was. We also tried the "Send Me Nudies" (points for the clever, punny name). The pasta was soft and pillowy, and the sauce was packed with flavor. This place has quickly become one of my new favorites. Love this place! I had an opportunity to try a few menu items and enjoy a glass of wine this week. The chef-owner-sommelier was kind enough to share the menu inspiration and the story behind this fun, funky spot. If you are looking for a fun and thoughtfully curated drink and food menu without breaking the bank, this is your place. This husband-and-wife-owned restaurant has a fun approach to great food, and you can taste the genuine passion and love for food in every dish. Anyone who spends time here will be able to taste the difference. They prove that attention to detail matters, whether it is in the food, the music, the wine, or the room. I am here for it. They have taken classic dishes and fused them. They have also looked at classics, identified what traditionally does not work, and re-engineered them with quality ingredients so they level up. We enjoyed the egg rolls (Rangoon, Cuban, Buff/Chicken ), the GOAT, and the Smash-it OMG classic made-to-order cheeseburger. Everything was house-made (right down to the crunchy onions, sauces, and fries), well seasoned, and tasted great. They have a special event line-up on their website, as well as a reservation portal - given they have limited seating - it's probably a good idea to reserve your seat before going- I have a feeling they're going to stay consistently busy. He still kept the personal visit while making sure every table was well tended to. Longer wine list than I would have expected and at reasonable prices. Food prices were also very reasonable. But, be prepared to wait and wait and wait for your food . Ours took over thirty minutes to arrive . Two of us had fish and chips. The fish was cod and delivered piping hot. The crust of panko and flour was crispy as it should be. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft inside...perfect. The tarter sauce had a spring of fresh dill that really brought it to life. My wife had chicken pot pie. She said it was tasty, but the bread topping was brittle, somewhat confusing the presentation. What an enjoyable little spot! The decor is cute and funky, welcoming and fun. Prices are very reasonable. They have an extensive wine menu. I tried the dank nug sandwich and my friend had the Ross and Rachel. The nugs were plentiful and seasoned really well, and the nonchalance sauce was delicious. Everything was very fresh and made to order. Service was a little slow but it wasn't a big deal as we weren't in a rush. We were not offered dessert and the checks were dropped before I was finished eating - not huge deals, I think they are still working some things out. The food did take a minute to come out- so not a place when in a rush- But when you have the time so delicious! Fantastic food! All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The chef knocked it out of the park with the short ribs - full of flavor and so tender. (Big portion so will enjoy some tomorrow too.) The shepherds' pie was delicious as was the battered cod. The spiralized fries were so tasty. We heard great things about the deconstructed apple pie so had to get it and we were so glad we did. i thought it would be a hidden gem, or a diamond in the ROUGH, but let me tell you... it was ROUGH. we got the fattest fries ever and we wanted thin fries. the DANK NUGGS were mediocre. the blind date i attended was SUPERIOR so i was expecting the food to match the standards there were some small children staring at us while we waited for the restroom (the stares came from inside the one person restroom while the other small child was completing the urination process) where someone HID THE TP!!! the pasta was drier than my last relationship (NJB bob does not adore you) although we learned a valuable lesson on deceiving others... i feel personally violated since a homeless male individual was staring at my blind date and her perfect daughter during the entirety of the encounter my date complained that the TP (toilet paper) was to hard to find, so she didn't wipe (led to issues during our private dive) nonchalances did not provide for my need of horCHaTa. i enjoyed my dining experience, and when i was swimming in an aquarium in japan, a shark stole my panties, leaving me afraid and exposed. the lighting in the bathroom was good. read more

My bud and I chose this place for our catch-up lunch because it's new and we love fun, indie restaurants. It's owned and run by a young couple who are sweet, but more importantly with a taste for the gourmet. The specials and other menu items sounded intriguing, but we went with the O.G. fish and chips. Their fries are amazing, made through a special formula that makes them light and crispy. When we spotted the chicken pot pie, we vowed to try that next--it's a masterpiece, and the lady who ordered the one in the photo said it was delicious. You can see that they care about the presentation as well. This couple knows their wines, too, and there was plenty of selection. We got a very nice and warm welcome upon entering. We did not have a reservation & took a chance at getting an early evening table. We were seated immediately with no issues. "That would be a good idea" She said, then left never to return again. 1 1/2 hours into our "meal" we left, still had our menus as we never even got to order anything other than appetizers. Food was pretty mediocre too. Crab Rangoon was all cream cheese, Chicken bites were burned, 2 diners ordered the same app and instead of getting separate portions they were on a single plate because the Chef decided it was a good idea for them "to share". Oh yeah, they advertise a full drink list on the web page, when you get there they only have wines. A great example of why restaurants fail so frequently, some, like Nonchalance, never should have opened in the first place. Actually, the best thing that describes the place is the name, Nonchalance describes perfectly the wait staff, the total lack of training, the attitude of the chef and the overall feel of the place. Stopped in for a bite to eat at an off hour so we were the only customers at first. Allowed us to chat with the owners who were friendly and very accommodating. Ordered a meatloaf sandwich with apple slaw and a BLT with fries. Best meatloaf sandwich I've ever had. Nice thick slice with a spread of bacon jam for a little sweetness. Apple slaw was good, leaned toward the vinegar side with pickles. BLT was tasty, but I could always have more bacon. String fries were a nice change from the traditional. Ordered the chocolate mousse for dessert which I haven't eaten in years. Light, fluffy, and deliciously chocalaty. So enjoyed this meal and the ambience.
