Great pizza spot located right near the Fort Myers airport. It's a little tucked away in the far end of a shopping center but it's worth the stop. Plenty of parking and there's also a gelato place right next-door if you want ice cream after. There's not very much seating in this pizza place you can definitely grab and go. There's maybe two tables near the front entrance that I saw. It also has a pretty cool free library and aesthetic was pretty nice for how small it was. They have a couple of sliced deals, or you can order by the pie. They even had some vegan options. I ended up ordering two slices and a drink, which you can choose a canned soda. I ended up just giving a sprite to someone else in my party. The two slices was quite nice, you can only choose from a list of the pizzas for it to qualify. One of the slice options, though is the chef's daily inspired specialty. Though when I asked about it and the chef was not in currently, so couldn't fulfill that request. It's all good though. My two slices were the Yo Paulie & the Ricotta Loves White. I loved the combination of those two flavors. The ricotta loves white had a nice texture to it and that cheesy flavor. The Yo Paulie had a sweetness to it. I could definitely eat a whole pie of the Yo Paulie. The server was actually so nice and gave us some pepperoni rolls to try. And boy did those things slap. It's almost like a cinnamon roll, but with pepperoni and savory. read more

We stopped by here for lunch after landing in Fort Myers. Service was excellent! At a pizza place, I would expect service to be very minimal. Amanda was the cashier and she went above and beyond to take care of customers. As soon as we walked in, she noticed some leftover dishes on the table and immediately came to clear it up for us. Another couple was already dining in and she checked on them and made sure everything was okay. The workers at Fine Folk truly are "fine folk." You can tell there is a level of care here. Service had a very personable feel to it - I would come back just for the service, but the pizza is excellent too! Amanda was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. She explained the lunch special offerings and helped us decide on the right size pizzas to get. Now, I'm no vegan, but I was impressed at the wide selection that they had of vegan offerings. They have lunch specials which feature a slice or two of various pies, come with a drink, and some even include a pepperoni roll. We tried the pepperoni rolls and they were fantastic! They were large in size, crispy on the outside, and had great garlicky and pepperoni flavor. It was served with marinara sauce and finished with a Parmesan and herb topping. I ordered the arugula and prosciutto pizza to share with the group (14"). It's a white pizza and was served with a lemon to squeeze atop. I loved the soft and chewy crust and various flavor combinations. If you're into spicy, they had several spice blends varying in heat level that you can add to your pizza. This is a great pizza spot in Fort Myers. There is a rewards program that you can sign up for to rack up points and redeem for deals (which you should, because I know you'll be back). Stopped by Fine Folk Pizza and had a great experience. The chicken wings were excellent, and the buffalo sauce had the perfect balance of flavor and heat. We also ordered two pizzas, and both were delicious. They came out piping hot, so the crust was a little floppy at first, but after cooling down for a few minutes, they were spot on. In fact, I brought some leftovers home, and honestly, the pizza was even better the next day. Great food, great flavors, and definitely a place I'll be ordering from again. read more

First off, the service here is stellar! We were lucky enough to meet the owner, Mike, and have a great and personal discussion about our experience there and St.Louis style pizza made with provel cheese. What a genuinely nice and personable person. And this explains why the folks out front are so happy, personable and knowledgeable. It's the trickle down effect. Excellence and love of what you do fosters more excellence! The pizza is top notch. The crust is amazing, crisp on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. Basically you want to eat the pizza bones. The pizza sauce, the crust itself or both are garlic forward, which I love. You can taste it and smell it, but it is not overwhelming. The sauce is not too sweet and the build your own pizza has a perfect amount of sauce on it. We ordered one 16" with extra cheese and pepperoni and another 16" with extra cheese and pepperoni. The meat on both pizzas was fresh and flavorful. And we have left overs! Fine Folk also has a selection of soft drink beverages, local beers, seltzers and some wine choices. The dining room is super small with three tables, which explains their robust takeout business. But they also have a few outside tables for onsite dining. People always say they can't find good pizza in Florida as it is up North. Well I found it! Right here at Fine Folks Pizza! Excellent thin crust pizza!!! Being from NJ, I was quite impressed with their pizza as we ordered 2 individual, specialty coal fired pies. We did take out. I will return. Just have the pizza make be more aware of the time in the oven so the crust is cooked well but not burnt anywhere. I highly recommend this place! read more

So nice to find a family owned and run independent business that executes the husband and wife's dream with skill and artistry. This was our first visit to Fine Folk and definitely not our last. My wife ordered the Buffalo chicken pizza on cauliflower crust. The flavor was great and her only comment was the at she would order extra Buffalo sauce the next time, and also try their other gluten free crust. I ordered the supreme on their house crust which was described as New York style. The crust was perfect, crisp and slightly charred on the bottom, but foldable as expected. Toppings were fresh and abundant. The sauce was flavorful like fresh tomatoes and also as expected not overporweing with oregano like most places think pizza sauce should be. Next time I'll order extra sauce, not because there was too little, but because it was so tasty. Definitely on our go to list in spite of the drive. read more

I've been a couple times in the past six months and have yet to be disappointed. Great brick oven pizza without too much of the burnt flavor that can sometimes be overwhelming on the crust. Great chew, fun toppings, very reasonably priced, especially their lunch deals! Marinara is wonderful and we've also tried a Bianco pizza. If you don't like ricotta, you might want to steer clear of their white pizzas. They even have a build your own option where you can have up to four toppings! First time visit to Fine Folk pizza. The shop is small but it doesn't take away from the experience. There is limited seating inside, but plenty of tables outside. You can order pizza by the slice or the whole pie. I enjoyed the two slices that I selected, pepperoni and brushetta. Excellent flavors for both slices. They have a full menu of items I can't wait to try on my next visit. The service was fantastic. My friend wanted two slices of cheese so they made a pizza for her. Not many places will do that for you. If you're into buying merch from local places, Fine Folk has quite a few options. They also have a lending library. read more

We don't make it out to the Gateway area much, but since we were nearby, we decided to stop into Fine Folk Pizza. I'd heard great things about it, so we gave it a shot. We were immediately greeted by a smiling staff member who asked if we'd been there before. When we told her we hadn't, she kindly explained how things work: take a seat, they'll come to you to take your order, and drinks are available in the beverage cooler. I really appreciated this. It seems most restaurants have their own way of doing things--wait to be seated, seat yourself, order at the table, order at the counter, etc.--and there are rarely posted instructions. Invariably, if I'm not told what to do, I end up doing it wrong. So this was a refreshing and pleasant experience. We ordered the cheesy breadsticks and the Carne pizza. The cheesy breadsticks came with six pieces. The middle two were really flavorful, with a noticeable garlic seasoning, but the flavor seemed to fade on the other four slices. The marinara dipping sauce on the side had decent flavor, but it felt like something was missing. It lacked depth, almost as though it needed more time for the flavors to meld--if that makes sense. When the pizza arrived, it was clear they don't skimp on toppings. There was an abundance of meat, as one would expect from a pizza called the "Carne." The meatballs, sausage, and bacon were all excellent. The slices of ham appeared to be standard deli slices, but everything tasted great together. Personally, I would have preferred a bit more sauce spread closer to the crust, but that's just my preference. I like a saucy pizza, though I know others don't. It seems they've struck a good middle ground here, so I can't fault them for that. The edge crust was light and chewy with a satisfying crunch on the outside--nearly perfect. However, the middle portion of the crust lacked structural integrity, so you couldn't just grab a slice without some help. It was a "fork-under-the-slice" situation, with the first few bites requiring a fork and knife. This was likely due to the generous amount of meat on top. The pizza sauce had more flavor than the dipping sauce that came with the breadsticks. I'm not sure if it's a different recipe or if it simply developed better flavor during cooking, but it struck a great balance--not too sweet, not too acidic, and well-seasoned. One small detail I really appreciated was that each slice was fully cut through. I know that might sound trivial, but we didn't have to wrestle with cutting the pizza ourselves using a butter knife or one of those pizza-shaped spatulas because the cutter wasn't pressed down hard enough. It's a small thing, but it shows they care about the product they're serving. read more

As we were heading home we remembered how much we enjoyed this artesian pizza place. We decided to call ahead while in traffic and pick it up and take it home with us. Unfortunately we live too far for them to deliver. We arrived and our order was ready and smelled amazing!! The irresistible aroms floated throughout our vehicle and up our nostrils the whole way home. The pizza was still a little warm and we warmed up in the microwave for just a few seconds. Yumm! So sad as this used to be favourite place to order from. Arugula salad arrived totally wilted and inedible. Straight into the trash it went. Dressing was on the side, so it wasn't due to the dressing. Called and the girl I spoke with was totally unhelpful and just told me to call Uber eats.
